Love these buds. Love the nuanced and Deep base without losing the mids and highs. I do wish they had a "fin" like Bose or even Galaxy Pro as they are a little insecure.
Best $23 I've spent. Got this preloved, superbly cheap because the cosmetics aren't the best with scratches but the earbuds are working fine and that's all that matters. Nice review!
Great review, I got mine before the multi-point/LDAC update and I am just so impressed with how good they work with Mobile and Laptop devices. I am sad at the lack of a higher IPX rating, in ear sensors, and wireless charging at this price point. My biggest complaint is the case. It feels so cheap and easy to break. That being said these are amazing ear buds. I disagree on your evaluation of the ANC, I kind of assume you are getting a good seal with the 7 Pros (I also own these) and not with the AZ60s. I played with the 7 tips for weeks before I found the best fit for comfort and sound quality. The ANC is very very good IMO, almost as good as the Xm4s but not quite.
Thanks, glad you liked the review. As for your comment about the seal, just remember I've done over 500 audio related reviews, and also specialise in portable audio - I had a good seal. Note, the XM4s are no benchmark for ANC, they were a regression over the XM3s. Nevertheless, I'm happy you're enjoying them :)
I just got them. Yeah, a year late, but since the AZ60M2 just came out, the AZ60's were on a nice sale on Amazon. Think I paid like $120.00 And they are very good. Doesn't hold a candle to my B&O Beoplay EX when it comes to sound quality, but they have better ANC and Transparency. Really good for the price.
Great review - subscribed. Has the ANC been improved with the firmware updates? And since you're such a big fan of the Technics, do you know anything about the new buds supposedly to be released later this year?
Thanks! Honestly, haven't noticed any sort of improvements on the ANC front, but would still recommend these over others for the overall package (I still use them) :)
Hey Chris - Using your videos to determine what to buy, thanks! Curious what your thoughts on swopping out the often lackluster eartips that accompany most true wireless earbuds with memory foam tips like from company Comply? I'm an audiophile but have little kids so trying the best I can for under $100 US...I went with the Sennheiser CX 400 BT since I got them for $75 USD and your reviews more or less admit that the sound quality for music specifically is pretty much the same across the CX series and Momentum series? Also, do you ever review higher end company brands like B&W, Etymotic Research, Audio-Technica, AKG, PSB, Bose, Shure, etc.? Seems like everyone is entering the bluetooth wireless market and I hope you review models from those companies when applicable. I'm always looking for budget models from the higher end companies as opposed to Airpods, Beats, and most of the dreck that makes up the Top 10 sellers on Amazon US. Thanks!
Wouldn't say the CX is identical to the Momentum series, but it's gotten really close now that's for sure. The price you got those CX400BT for is a steal - and yes Comply tips would be my preferred option for better sound isolation and comfort (prevents any earbud/IEM from falling out as easily). Only problem, you'll have to swap out the foam tips regularly as they collate wax haha. As for reviewing other brands, absolutely I have done and do so on the channel; however, some of them, being brutally honest, are either stuck up and/or have PR agencies that don't respond to press enquiries. Given I have plenty on my plate already, I tend not to bother with such companies. Plus, some of them can't take negative criticism and put you on a black list - think that's the case with me with some of the aforementioned brands ;) And thanks for the support, glad you like the videos :)
Great video as usual!! But I was wondering if these earphones could be a good replacement of my Bose sport earbuds which I like their signature and how they behave on low-mid ranges, but I kinda feel the loss to not have ANC on them and I want to do an upgrade. I heard that Quite Comfort buds were disappointing for a lot of people, so would you recommend me the EAH-AZ60? Thank you!

Bought a pair! Very happy with them. Your review helped me decide. Actually I’m using it with AppleMusic and my iPhone (AAC). Do you think I will find a better quality if using LDAC (with a portable DAP)?. Multipoint would work with iPhone (AAC) and a DAP (LDAC)?. Thanks and congratulations for your channel!
Thanks, glad you liked my review and found it useful :) Yes, LDAC would result in better audio clarity over AAC - to me at least, it's noticeable when changing between the codecs. And multipoint should indeed work in that manner - my tests, as you saw from the video were LDAC + SBC.
@@TotallydubbedHD Finally I have tried them with LDAC and couldn’t be more pleased with them. Audio is sooo much better than with AAC. They sound terrific! Thank you for your advice. These buds with LDAC are awesome!
@@TotallydubbedHD Actually i'm using a very well performing Sony WF-C500 with some eq modifications, but earlier had a Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus too. The connection stability with the Samsung scalable codec was instable too, especially at night. :D

Anyone able to confirm multipoint-LDAC capability of these earbuds? I'm unable to find any other source saying this and honestly, sounds a little bit too good to be true :-)
@@TotallydubbedHD Yes, I did :-) And sorry, didn't mean to be impolite, but literally every other review clearly states that LDAC and multi-point can't work together, one reviewer even specifically showing in his video a warning about LDAC being unavailable, when switching multi-point feature ON in the Technics Android app.
hi, can someone tell me if you put the Sony WF-1000XM4 at the highest "clear bass" in the Sony app, does the Technics az60 still beat it with its bass?

Rating these as the legendary Technics brand, they're quite disappointing. The sound is dark and muffled right out of the box and it takes a lot of eq'ing to clean them. The case is flimsy. Everytime I pick it up the lid bows in and wiggles enough to make me feel like crushing it. The sound prompts are too sentient and annoying (unlike Audio Technica who's are professional) The only language that sounds ok is German. Upon receiving the low battery warning every 5 minutes, you're also reminded to "Charge the unit" as if you were an idiot. The rubber tips inner canal is too thick causing earache for many people no matter which size they choose, luckily Dekoni eartips fixed this. If you turn off the right earbud you have to return it to the case to turn it back on. Never again Technics.
i don't care about noise cancellation that seems to be the only focus ppl talk about, i iwant loud sound all earbuds are too quiet less sound than cheap earbuds that come with a phone
No issues in terms of loudness. In all seriousness and without being mean, you should get your ears checked - maybe there's an issue in terms of hearing loss, which is why you think all earbuds are low in volume. As for the features covered, in my review, I covered everything there's to know about them, one of which is ANC. It would be naive not to talk about it.
