One of the performances that changed my life. 3 years ago, with only 1 year of piano, I went to my music teacher with the sheet music for this and I stubbornly said, ‘I want to play this.’ And I did! Three years later, I still know it by heart. This is a piece I’ll never forget, a piece that made me love the piano and taught me that even if it’s hard, that it feels like you’ll never see the end of difficulties, you gotta still going, because it’s worth it. I’m telling you, it’s worth it. I’m thinking about making my life out of the piano right now, and this would’ve never been possible without my 13-year-old self being in awe in front of this video.
