I have an old 1/4" drive Husky 20201 that I bought before Home Depot even existed. I could never figure out how to get it apart before watching this video. It has that same type of spiral snap ring. After watching you take that ring off I was able to get it apart for a good cleaning and greasing.. Not an easy job when the parts are about half the size of this one. I already did the old 3/8" drive craftsman after watching your video for that one. One more Craftsman 1/2" drive to go to finish up with all of my ratchets. Thanks again.
I have an old pair of usa husky side cutters that I found in the garage. They are currently in my tool cart and are my go-to pair whenever I need to cut wires or zip ties. The handles are black which is convenient because where I work side cutters are one of the most used tools and the handles of them get dirty rather quickly!
Just watched Project Farms video testing out the best 3/8 ratchets. Husky Ratchet ($30)performed exactly the same as a Snap On Ratchet ($129). And it was barely (like literally by a hair), outperformed by a Mac Tools Ratchet ($150).
Husky Tools is a hundred years old and has been manufactured by many different tool makers including Western Forge who I would say is known for their great quality........I've been using the same Husky socket set for over 20 years and have never had one problem with it.

I watch him too! I do like the older Husky, not too fond of the new stuff though, I have tried to polish some of it and the chrome plating comes off!

1st to comment. Husky is a pathetic product
It is not the best, but for homeowner I think it would be fine.
