- Another Saturday project. this time I make an incredibly useful stubby ratchet tool, based on one I saw in a tool review of the NEPRO equivalent. thank you for watching , like comment share and subscribe! God bless
What an honest build. Refreshing presentation, just like I deal with in my shop.
When I go into my shop, I practice all kinds of stuff, just like a doctor.
ATTA BOY ‼️
I've had a snap-on ratchet like what you're making for over 40 years . Comes in real handy every so often .
That's pretty cool. I actually bought the Laser Tools version of this ratchet/adapter with the female square drive in the handle. If you keep the adapter perpendicular to torque wrench your settings will be accurate. Or you can run it inline and do a calculation to correct for the longer torque arm length.
@@MarzNet256 thank you for that
Thanks for sharing a cool video !
@doglegjake6788 thank you for watching!
@@Saadmetalfab Have a nice day! I really like the kind of thing you made. If you have messenger, I would send you some of my analog self-made helpers.
Excellent idea
Thank you!
Check out the Koken 3753SM... which features an additional 3/8" drive hole in it's 'handle' end. Very handy, very low back drag, will run circles around the Nepros offering. It's center to center distance for torque calculations is 50mm. (It can also be had in a release button version, the 3753SMB.)
Thats a sick tool! still a bit out of my price range, so I'll have to stick with my cobbled together turd I polished . Thanks for posting tho, I like some of their options, didn't even know they existed
@@Saadmetalfab After having all my ratchets, sockets & related disappear in a move a few years ago... decided to replace it all with Koken. It's world class, hard working every day driver stuff; never looked back! Actually like it over all the old Snap-On.
Goes to show the engineering that the companies that make these have to do to make a durable product.
Ya know 🙄 Ya know 🙄 Ya know 🙄 Ya know 🙄 Ya know 🙄 Ya know 🙄 Ya know 🙄 Ya know 🙄
Cool idea!
Thank you! The tool that gave me the idea was the nepros NBR290H.
Amazing!
That is an expensive 18x21 ratchet adapter you used though 😅 Should've bought something else and the torque wrench meant for that ratchet :P
@rkan2 it was only like 5$ for the adapters total, One came with a bigger set. I probably could have figured a cheaper way, but the price to beat was $89. What i think i gotta do is get an impact adapter instead of a Chrome one. More ughuh duguhs
@rkan2 idk if 18x21 is the metric version. Here in the US, those adapters are relatively inexpensive. At least when I bought them they were
Nvm it was just a flex head and not an insert (14x18 was the right term and those are really pricy)
@rkan2 idk, i just work here
What's the channel? Is there a link? EVE, EBE? CC missed it. Not AVE, I hope.??

@@Saadmetalfab All good. I appreciate the try. Thank you so much. I declare you a good person. Thanks again.
