These work great with BLI locos, but not the early ones. Also, I found that if you have a loco derailment and a short circuit these units will short out one the the MOSFET output transistors. I was able to get replacements and repaired my unit myself, and I installed an in-line fuse rated at 3 amps to protect it against a similar occurrence. Programming is very easy but you cant read the value in the CV, it's write only.
how can I change the whistle sound cv because when I hit the whistle it makes a couple of sound and I don't have the DC Master but I do have a nce power cab for DCC bec this made for both dc/dcc blueline, and have to say this is one of a big headache,iv been looking on Google and nothing I found is helping,oh and when I do a factory reset it's still the same way not sure what the factory did but this is not fun to fix.
It does not have any sounds in it. It just brings out the sounds that are already in the locomotive. So if you are using a Broadway Limited steam engine you can activate the sounds in that locomotive.
Hello, The price went up since I made the video. They are now selling for $42.49. You can find them here: factorydirecthobbies.com/products/broadway-limited-dc-master-analog-control-box

What remote can I use for a Dcc locomotive from broadway limited i don’t know what remote to use for my class-A
Your locomotives must have a sound decoder installed for the DC master to work correct ?
Yes, that is correct. It controls the sounds in Broadway Limited sound locomotives only.
Very cool but how do you get the engine to go forward or backwards?????
You still use your DC power pack as normal, the DC Master is just for the sounds.
Is work with atlas common rail wiring?
thank you Joe one other ? Does it run DC or you have to un hook it????thank youJ
No you don’t have to unhook it.
will the dc master work with Kato EMD SD70M?
Hello, it only works with Broadway Limited locomotives.
Leader in sound ? According to who?
Does it have steam locomotive sounds?
It does not have any sounds in it. It just brings out the sounds that are already in the locomotive. So if you are using a Broadway Limited steam engine you can activate the sounds in that locomotive.
Went to your website, and the price was $49.00, not $39.00 ?

He has an HO Loco in the video !? You didn't see/notice it ?
Only Broadway ??? No other models ?
Yes, this is for Broadway Limited models only.
JOE
Appreciate video but actually “running” an engine and showing how to use controller would have been way more helpful.
