I’ve got the 14+ and honestly I’m blown away by the experience. Sensational battery life, easy lasts 2 days and the big screen experience is just unreal.
I went from s22ultra to the 14+ and going from charging my phone 3-4 x a day to 1 every day and a half and still having 20% battery left…is very refreshing

I got the 14 plus last week and I love it! I am a semi professional photographer and the iPhone has been my camera of choice (including Nikon and Sony cameras) for the last few years. The 14 plus with a slightly larger screen is great, and I have really found no negatives. A good review here.
@bunnycat yeah, the 13 has amazing battery life. I’ve had mine for a year already, and I’m still at 100% battery health. The 14 and 14 plus are just a waste of money.
My wife and I are still using 8 pluses. It’s been the best model of iPhone we have ever had. They never glitch or malfunction unlike the previous models we’ve had
After not caring about battery life and phones over the years(I didn’t mind plugging in my phone every couple hrs to charge) on my last phone. I realized that I just got accustomed to the repeatedly plugging it in. The constant plugging started to take its toll on me. To me they all behave the same way and iPhones screen look alike. Went with the bigger battery on the 14 plus and like everyone say. It really really last a long time. No regrets here and I don’t need all the pro features

I just traded in my iPhone 8 Plus for the 14 plus and I’m so happy I did, battery life is stellar compared to my old one and it’s very fast. I wanted the pro max but I refuse to pay $1200 for a cell phone, bought this one for a better price and not looking back

I am glad you talked about the weight of the max phones. I had XS max and did not like the weight of the phone. I eventually got iPhone 11 now. I know people are really bashing the iPhone 14 plus. What if you want a lighter phone with a bigger screen that is iPhone, I would say the iPhone 14 plus would be good option, right?
iPhone XS Max and 14 plus weighs equal. I have an XS MAX and I checked 14 plus at an Apple Store. XS MAX looks better, feels better in hand, and somehow it has a better screen.
I upgraded my iPhone XR to the 14 plus and I’m so happy I did. I wanted to get a bigger iPhone and was deciding to get the 14 pro max but we’re on back order so I didn’t want to wait and ended up getting the 14 plus and I’m glad I did since the pro max don’t come in red ❤
@@ethanslegend8094 really the only difference is that the 13 pro has a smaller screen size (6.1 compared to 6.7). If you want a bigger phone but don’t want to spend a lot of money get 13 pro max. Same processor but 13 max has a slight better camera if you’re into that.

I absolutely adore this phone! Ive had the 12 mini for a little over a year and a half and the battery health was at 81%. My phone wouldnt even last me a school day which is 8:35-3:35. It was laggy, the battery sucked, and the screen was too small imo. Im a girl and i have bigger hands so i love bigger screens. That being said, i wanted one of the 14 series and i was stuck between the 14 pro max, 13 pro max, and 14 plus. In the end, i chose the 14 plus. I didnt care for all the extra pro features and gimmicks. My 14 plus has everything i want and need in a phone: bigger screen for cheaper price, BEST battery life (used my phone from 6:30 am all the way to 9pm and my phone wasnt even below 20%. Havent had to charge it once. My 12 mini could never!!) and a great camera! The 14 plus is a great phone with great features AND colors (i got purple and it’s beautiful) and i think if you dont want/need all the extra weight (cuz this 14 plus is SUPER LIGHT!!) and the extra features and gimmicks of the pro phones and you want a GREAT FREAKING BATTERY, get the 14 plus!!!!! 10/10!!!!

$500 difference between the 14 plus vs 14 max in my country, definitely will go for the plus model, not to mention the awesome colors that come on the plus vs the outdated colors that coming on the pro max for many years since.

same, i upgraded from a 12 pro max to the 14 plus in purple - and i must say i'm impressed. at first i was a bit down as i read a lot of backlash on how upgrading from a pro model to a non one is stupid, or if you had a pro model you might as well go for the 14 pro max. however i enjoy this phone, i'm not a big fan of the dynamic island + the battery life on the 14 plus is amazing, can go two days with no charge.
Coming from a 12 Mini and just upgraded to the 14 Plus. I like the small size of the Mini but the battery life over the past couple years has been an issue. I do quite a bit of video streaming on my phone as well so I think I will enjoy the larger screen long term even with the slight inconvenience of not fitting in my pocket as easily.
It angers me that I had to buy the 12 pro max to get a bigger screen. This phone is so much better in many ways, because the most expensive is not always what you need, nor the best. I will wait until there‘s usb-c in 2 years, and then I‘ll get the 15 or 16 plus replacing my pro.
I actually held the iPhone 14 plus at BestBuy over the weekend. I loved it. I have a regular 12 and that big screen seemed similar in weight. I might upgrade it. Was impressed with the purple color too!
The 12 is 164 grams vs 206 grams on the 14 plus. Big difference. But for as big of a phone in the 14 plus it's not too bad, definitely the lightest out of all Apple's max phones.
I got the 14 plus about a month ago I upgraded from the X-R and love it best thing ever - big screen is fab and the processor is super sharp fully recommend this phone all day long
I recently was offered a free upgrade by my phone provider. The iPhone 14+ was actually cheaper per month than the regular model. Having upgraded from an iPhone 12, it’s night and day, and the longer battery life is very noticeable. The cameras and speakers are great as well.
Probably the best overall review of this phone so far. Nowhere near as much focus on this as the Pro’s but I think this will sell very well among the non hardcore audience.
After watching many other reviews on the pro max, I think the regular notch is the better choice for now. The dynamic island is still in its early stages
In some interactions it even takes more screen real estate. It’s thinking backwards in usability when it comes to media consumption if you’d ask me…I’d prefer having a better video consuming experience over notifications all day.

I recently went from an iPhone SE 2020 to an iPhone 14 plus due to my sight impairments and the size is incredible plus the battery life lasts so long I sometimes don’t need to charge it for 2 days
Pretty sure I’m the only one here who will be upgrading from a iphone 6s to a 14 plus 😂 looking forward to a bigger screen and a MUCH longer lasting battery life :)

For starters, the I phone 14 plus has the same battery as the pro max but less battery drain due to the display it uses, and thus a longer battery life. This is a huge selling point. -I phone 14 plus has a front facing autofocus lens which the 13 pro max does not -I phone 14 plus has SOS emergency services and the 13 pro max does not -I phone 14 plus is lighter which a lot of consumers prioritize. -Most people will not use the 48 mp camera lens from the 14 pro max or the Prores due to the file sizes and storage. Also it’s a nightmare to transfer these large files from the phone if you have a windows pc. I’d rather use a dedicated professional camera for professional work. (At least the workflow would be optimized) -I personally would not use the always on display on the 14 pro max due to battery drain. -Maybe the dynamic island would be useful, but it’s a nice to have, not a need to have. All of this to say that there is a phone for everyone’s needs. When it comes down to the day to day essentials, the 14 plus might be a more enticing option 👍🏾.

It’s a nice large phone option without stepping up to the pro. Variety is good. As a side note, I also forgot a big difference between the 13 pro max and the plus: 4K front facing camera in cinematic mode with the 14 plus. That could equal out the playing field a bit when you consider the 14 plus doesn’t have the telephoto lens.

I just got the 14+ a few days ago after upgrading from the XS max, it feels lighter even tho it has a bigger screen, battery is perfect, going down very slowly and amazing camera. So if you can afford, go for it and enjoy ☺️
just got one iphone 14 plus and love it. Excellent quality and picture at a lower cost plus a very nice big display. Very lasting hrs on battery. No need to get an iphone 14 Pro max.
I have the 14+ and it honestly is all I need. I really love the screen size and I have no issues watching videos and playing the games on my phone. The battery life is awesome. Yes, I could always plug in my phone more frequently but I like not having to lol
I just got an I phone 14 plus. I am blown away in comparison to the 11 I had. Funny enough I also have an 12 mini too. So I have had my share in the I phone world. I was impressed with the 11 for a while. And since I only do big screened phones, I tend to look at the pro maxes but I don’t like the price tag. But when I grabbed the I phone 14 plus from Verizon, I had no idea what a better experience I was gonna get. I would say far as camera concerned, I don’t really care much for it, as long as it takes great pictures, I don’t need the upgrade on the camera spectrum. However battery, and screen display matters a lot and of course performance and durability. 11 of course was good with all. But this is a powerhouse, simply put I don’t need to spend an extra 200 for just small features I might not even use often, lol I barely even take selfies. personally, It’s all how you plan using the phone but I won’t be getting an upgrade for a while. ☺️

This is a very good phone. When this came out last year I wouldn't be getting the 13 pro max, this is absolutely the one I would get in upgrading my 8plus.
Interesting video. I just got my iPhone 14 plus today coming from s21 ultra I’m so happy with it the phone is very light weight good quality built it has amazing battery and the camera on this simply wonderful especially taking low light photos is the absolute best.
got a 14 Plus yesterday to replace a 8Plus and so far I like it. the camera is definitely better and I love the magnifier in the utility icon. the battery seems to be OK. I did order a case cause the phone is super slippery to hold securely..
I probably wouldve gotten the 14 plus instead of the pro if they would’ve released it on the same day as the others! But i didn’t have time to wait since i was doing a port in from AT&T. I didn’t want to pay them for another month of service.
My 14 plus came today. I have an 8 plus. I traded it in for $350. At ATT. I figured this probably is my last chance to get that much trade in as the 7 plus was not on the trade in list. I really don’t have much knowledge of 5 g. Away from home I do stream TV over my phone. I can use the speaker upgrade.
@@owenclarke7886 Very simple you trade in your old phone to get more money off the new phone you want to purchase from your carrier. In his case they gave him $350 for the 8 plus so he got $350 off the the 14 plus.
@@owenclarke7886 when the 14 came out on ATT web sight had a trade in policy. You just picked the phone you wanted to trade in the 10 and the 8 plus were both 350$ so that’s why i jumped on it. It actually gives you a certain amount off your Att bill until the 350$ is gone. I think over a 2 year period. When I got the 8 plus all I had to pay was tax 80$. My daughter bought a iPhone 10 so she could give a 8 plus to me but I had to not be on att. I had been on Verizon so it worked. Apple was not offering 350 for an 8 plus. I think 90$. But this was on ATT.
i bought iphone 14+ product red i like big screen more lighter, slim easy to hold and good battery life, in my country you will add 500 dollar more for 14 pro max and i didn't care about extra features of 14 pro max... i happy for my 14 plus i never regret
Considering the cameras on the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max are so close in quality, the only real difference for me is the high refresh screen on the Pro Max. But is it worth $200? Not sure …
I use a Samsung and I can't tell the high refresh rate apart from 60hz. Maybe it's an issue with my eyes but I have tried severally to note the difference, but it's been eluding me.
I upgraded from an iPhone 8 to the 14 Plus a week ago, and it is incredible. I am actually blown away by the cameras, battery life, screen, and everything else. Amazing phone.

I just want a slightly thicker mini to house a bigger battery. That's all. the mini... but slightly thicker. OR, since they want to take away SIM card trays... that should free up some internal space to add more battery and maybe the dimensions don't need to change. Want to save more room? I don't need wireless charging, so take that out too. I'm always going to charge with a cable. So maybe that is what the next SE model should be: the mini body, with no wireless charging or SIM card internals. And you increase the battery size with whatever space you gain from that.

Mind you; I dropped my iPhone 11 so many times and nothing happened. Till this day the best phone I ever had. And it exceeds my expectation on every level.
Rn coming from the 13 pro max I’ll definitely opt for a normal glass but the same battery. So 14 plus it is.
$500 difference between the 14 plus vs 14 max in my country, definitely will go for the plus model, not to mention the awesome colors that come on the plus vs the outdated colors that coming on the pro max for many years since.

same, i upgraded from a 12 pro max to the 14 plus in purple - and i must say i'm impressed. at first i was a bit down as i read a lot of backlash on how upgrading from a pro model to a non one is stupid, or if you had a pro model you might as well go for the 14 pro max. however i enjoy this phone, i'm not a big fan of the dynamic island + the battery life on the 14 plus is amazing, can go two days with no charge.

Coming from a 12 Mini and just upgraded to the 14 Plus. I like the small size of the Mini but the battery life over the past couple years has been an issue. I do quite a bit of video streaming on my phone as well so I think I will enjoy the larger screen long term even with the slight inconvenience of not fitting in my pocket as easily.
It angers me that I had to buy the 12 pro max to get a bigger screen.
This phone is so much better in many ways, because the most expensive is not always what you need, nor the best.
I will wait until there‘s usb-c in 2 years, and then I‘ll get the 15 or 16 plus replacing my pro.
Upgraded from from the iPhone 8 Plus (which was a superb phone) to a 14 Plus. No regrets. Good battery life.
To be honest I would not really buy this, instead I would buy a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone for 759 instead of the latest new phone
I actually held the iPhone 14 plus at BestBuy over the weekend. I loved it. I have a regular 12 and that big screen seemed similar in weight. I might upgrade it. Was impressed with the purple color too!
The 12 is 164 grams vs 206 grams on the 14 plus. Big difference. But for as big of a phone in the 14 plus it's not too bad, definitely the lightest out of all Apple's max phones.

Got my 14+ in blue. The battery life is amazing. I wanted a bigger phone without the weight and this is exactly what I wanted.

The iPhone 14 Plus was my first iPhone ever i really love this device!
I got the 14 plus about a month ago I upgraded from the X-R and love it best thing ever - big screen is fab and the processor is super sharp fully recommend this phone all day long
I recently was offered a free upgrade by my phone provider. The iPhone 14+ was actually cheaper per month than the regular model. Having upgraded from an iPhone 12, it’s night and day, and the longer battery life is very noticeable. The cameras and speakers are great as well.
Probably the best overall review of this phone so far. Nowhere near as much focus on this as the Pro’s but I think this will sell very well among the non hardcore audience.
After watching many other reviews on the pro max, I think the regular notch is the better choice for now. The dynamic island is still in its early stages
I just like the old notch more aesthetically and the fact that I won’t have something constantly distracting me up top.

In some interactions it even takes more screen real estate. It’s thinking backwards in usability when it comes to media consumption if you’d ask me…I’d prefer having a better video consuming experience over notifications all day.

I recently went from an iPhone SE 2020 to an iPhone 14 plus due to my sight impairments and the size is incredible plus the battery life lasts so long I sometimes don’t need to charge it for 2 days

@@Phoenix-King-ozai I would disagree to a certain degree. For starters, the I phone 14 plus has the same battery as the pro max but less battery drain due to the display it uses, and thus a longer battery life. This is a huge selling point.
-I phone 14 plus has a front facing autofocus lens which the 13 pro max does not
-I phone 14 plus has SOS emergency services and the 13 pro max does not
-I phone 14 plus is lighter which a lot of consumers prioritize.
-Most people will not use the 48 mp camera lens from the 14 pro max or the Prores due to the file sizes and storage. Also it’s a nightmare to transfer these large files from the phone if you have a windows pc. I’d rather use a dedicated professional camera for professional work. (At least the workflow would be optimized)
-I personally would not use the always on display on the 14 pro max due to battery drain.
-Maybe the dynamic island would be useful, but it’s a nice to have, not a need to have.
All of this to say that there is a phone for everyone’s needs. When it comes down to the day to day essentials, the 14 plus might be a more enticing option 👍🏾.

@@Phoenix-King-ozai I certainly agree with you. The price should definitely come down on the plus or at least put 90hz refresh rate. It would be a banger if they did. It’s a nice large phone option without stepping up to the pro. Variety is good.
As a side note, I also forgot a big difference between the 13 pro max and the plus: 4K front facing camera in cinematic mode with the 14 plus. That could equal out the playing field a bit when you consider the 14 plus doesn’t have the telephoto lens.

I just got the 14+ a few days ago after upgrading from the XS max, it feels lighter even tho it has a bigger screen, battery is perfect, going down very slowly and amazing camera.

I have the 14+ and it honestly is all I need. I really love the screen size and I have no issues watching videos and playing the games on my phone. The battery life is awesome. Yes, I could always plug in my phone more frequently but I like not having to lol

I just got an I phone 14 plus. I am blown away in comparison to the 11 I had. Funny enough I also have an 12 mini too. So I have had my share in the I phone world. I was impressed with the 11 for a while. And since I only do big screened phones, I tend to look at the pro maxes but I don’t like the price tag. But when I grabbed the I phone 14 plus from Verizon, I had no idea what a better experience I was gonna get. I would say far as camera concerned, I don’t really care much for it, as long as it takes great pictures, I don’t need the upgrade on the camera spectrum. However battery, and screen display matters a lot and of course performance and durability. 11 of course was good with all. But this is a powerhouse, simply put I don’t need to spend an extra 200 for just small features I might not even use often, lol I barely even take selfies. personally, It’s all how you plan using the phone but I won’t be getting an upgrade for a while. ☺️

This is a very good phone. When this came out last year I wouldn't be getting the 13 pro max, this is absolutely the one I would get in upgrading my 8plus.

Interesting video. I just got my iPhone 14 plus today coming from s21 ultra I’m so happy with it the phone is very light weight good quality built it has amazing battery and the camera on this simply wonderful especially taking low light photos is the absolute best.
got a 14 Plus yesterday to replace a 8Plus and so far I like it. the camera is definitely better and I love the magnifier in the utility icon. the battery seems to be OK. I did order a case cause the phone is super slippery to hold securely..

My 14 plus came today. I have an 8 plus. I traded it in for $350. At ATT. I figured this probably is my last chance to get that much trade in as the 7 plus was not on the trade in list. I really don’t have much knowledge of 5 g. Away from home I do stream TV over my phone. I can use the speaker upgrade.

@@owenclarke7886 Very simple you trade in your old phone to get more money off the new phone you want to purchase from your carrier. In his case they gave him $350 for the 8 plus so he got $350 off the the 14 plus.

@@owenclarke7886 when the 14 came out on ATT web sight had a trade in policy. You just picked the phone you wanted to trade in the 10 and the 8 plus were both 350$ so that’s why i jumped on it. It actually gives you a certain amount off your Att bill until the 350$ is gone. I think over a 2 year period. When I got the 8 plus all I had to pay was tax 80$. My daughter bought a iPhone 10 so she could give a 8 plus to me but I had to not be on att. I had been on Verizon so it worked. Apple was not offering 350 for an 8 plus. I think 90$. But this was on ATT.

Considering the cameras on the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max are so close in quality, the only real difference for me is the high refresh screen on the Pro Max. But is it worth $200? Not sure …
I use a Samsung and I can't tell the high refresh rate apart from 60hz. Maybe it's an issue with my eyes but I have tried severally to note the difference, but it's been eluding me.
I upgraded from an iPhone 8 to the 14 Plus a week ago, and it is incredible. I am actually blown away by the cameras, battery life, screen, and everything else. Amazing phone.
Im getting one. I’ve had an iPhone 12 and want a larger screen as I’m watching a lot more videos on my phone as of late. I don’t want to spend the extra on the pro max and honestly with the little bit of difference it’s not worth it anyway.
The 14 plus can do 18:9 videos without the notch digging into the screen whereas the 14 pro Max's dynamic island does dig into 18:9 videos

I upgrade my daughter's Iphone every year. Traded the 13 for the 14 PLUS yesterday. Let me tell you guys... Looking at the whole Iphone 14 line up on display at Apple Garden City, NY... Get the new Airpods Pro or the Watch SE with that extra $200 and change. A much better investment. 🤳👨🚀🚀

I go for 14 plus …..I am using it for 2 months now…..I get one and a half days with good usage with the battery
I just want a slightly thicker mini to house a bigger battery. That's all. the mini... but slightly thicker. OR, since they want to take away SIM card trays... that should free up some internal space to add more battery and maybe the dimensions don't need to change. Want to save more room? I don't need wireless charging, so take that out too. I'm always going to charge with a cable.
So maybe that is what the next SE model should be: the mini body, with no wireless charging or SIM card internals. And you increase the battery size with whatever space you gain from that.
