Good demo. For me it crucial to hear it played clean to start. Distortion comes later. Looks like a potential for some budget shoegazing.
Man i cant find a single person, nor a comment, that mentions that this is NOT the traditional mustang style "dynamic vibrato" system, which is complete crud to be honest, but is the "offset trem" system you find on the jazzmasters and jags, which is a much more reliable trem system and far better for the shoegaze vibes im after. I have a squier VM mustang that plays and sounds great, but the one thing that keeps me from enjoying it to the fullest is that damn trem system, and i always wished that mod easy to do. Its not easy at all. So this is a godsend
I kid you now my mom got me one of these for Christmas I’m 30 years old and never played guitar😅. I like it tho and i think I’ll invest in learning to play it.

I got mine yesterday morning. Other than having to drop the string height and tuning it, it was WAY better than the $108 I wound up paying for it. I've already ordered GFS "hot rails" pickups and a graph-tech nut
Why no demo of the vibrato arm? The most interesting part of this guitar.

Hey Nicholas, keep 'em coming! I just bought 2 Fireflies from the recent drop (FFLP & fl338), but they have yet to ship, and these are still up on Amazon. I think I like the look more each time I see this guitar. Sounds like it could be a good blues guitar. I own 4 IYV's, luckily w no cosmetic, or mechanical flaws. Only one came needing nothing, set up wise, and I'm just playing them as is until I get new tuners since that's probably the consensus on essential upgrades. Nuts were good enough for me. Would love to see an update on this guitar.
Thanks so much for the kind words. Hopefully, i can do more of these soon. Things have been kind of “tight” fiscally with gigs tightening up lately. But love the iyv stuff besides the flaws that i would change anyways(tuners, pickups, wiring)
This was so cool! I can't wait for mine to arrive. Spectacularly played too. I really enjoyed some of the stonesey sounding licks i heard. Did i hear under the bridge? Dug it either way!
Nice playing on a very nice guitar. It's too bad yours has that B & E problem. But it sounds like that's no trouble for you. I've had mine for a year or so I guess. It's one of only 2 guitars I bo't new that was/is set up perfectly to my preferences. No sharpies no adjustments, I'm still using shipping strings. No upgrades are justifiable. Unbelievable! I'm recovering from G.A S. So no additional guitars for me. I'm really glad that I have this IYV ISMF 200 VW. But I would like to replace the headstock logo with my own invention. Too many people have had prob's. Which links the brand with "cheapo".

Great video, Nicolas! I liked and subscribed to your channel man. I bought this exact guitar off Amazon. The body is strange, but I like it. IMO the bridge pup is weak.
