I'm consistently entertained by your in-depth yet easily approachable looks at the Power Rangers toy line. Great video. Can't wait to see you tackle the Hasbro era soon
As opponents for the megazords. That's a powerful statement. The big scale villains for the big rangers have this sort of internalized collector's value the idea that you could grab your robots and bang em against the monsters or very slowly and with show accurate photography, a stop motion battle with your megazords and that's play value.
I thought about it and my own stockpile of power rangers toys had megazords in the 6" figure scale, I had one of two of servo's forms but didn't get any of the megavirus monsters that I can recall but I distinctly remembering getting servo's samuraize bracer for a friend's birthday.
I have consistently collected Power Rangers since 1994 and this particular line was one of the best times it was to collect. It was so fun. We got so much stuff. And the toys themselves are arguably better than their Japanese counterparts because of the latter's brittleness. Alot of this is thanks to Gregory Mitchell, who was an unbelievable marketer of this product. I personally met him at Power Morphicon and he genuinely cared about this toyline and the customer fanbase and getting us the best stuff we could get. He left Bandai shortly after Dino Charge, and whatever he is doing now I hope he is happy and successful.
Just found a huge box with all of my PR DC toys in it. There’s a few things missing but man is it good to see them again. Honestly not only is DC toy line one of the best but I honestly think it IS the best BA toyline ever made.
This was definitely one of my favorite seasons and toy lines. Also, I just realized I’ve been following you on IG all this time and I STILL haven’t subscribed lol
I was actually lucky to get the graphite zord & the ammonite zord in proper colors, they, like, ran out of them & were lousy with the repaints for a long time. The only repaints I wanted were a couple vehicles for the non-show zords, it all worked out.
Dino Charge got a lot of us back in to the toy game I think. Most of us were so numb to the shitty Bandai America zords by this point it was AMAZING to hear decent things about these and just walk into Toys R Us and find them right there (Along with the Legacy Line)
Thumbs up in the video your my favorite power ranger youtuber honestly but I honestly havent seen a good zord line since rpm or overdrive afterwards they really got silly looking and pretty cheap to me and plus I'm tired of the repeated same zords and gimmicks now but great video
Ah I only managed to get the repaint of Ammonite 😩 there's plenty of the original on eBay but I can't justify the prices for a 'nice to have'. So I did my own repaint of the repaint. It's not perfect up close, but it's fine.
Man I remember buying all the Dino Charge Rangers and most of the Zords (never got the final ones as they were never released here in Canada) Unfortunately sold all of them 2 years later due to me getting into anime but I got back into PR last year and regret selling them all
Only real problems for me: the tail & sail on the spino-charge, the back & availability of the titano-charge, the fact that the chargers don't go all the way in the zords (or connect to the bike zords). Other than that, they're decent, I even avoided breaking a clip on the plesio-charge, due to the plastic being less brittle than the Japanese toy.
Dino Charge is one of my favorite seasons. It got me back into watching Power Rangers on a regular basis. I watched MMPR through In Space first run. Saw Forever Red and watched Dino Thunder. Beyond that, I caught the occasional random episode here or there. I watched the first episode of Megaforce and decided it sucked. Based on a lot of opinions I've seen, I was right. But Dino Charge was everything I wanted in a Power Rangers season. Dinosaurs, entertaining characters, great villains, fun monster-of-the-weeks and a kick ass theme song. The fact that it was one of the best Power Rangers toy lines in recent memory was a great bonus. The figures were awesome. The zords were cool. The Dino Chargers were addictive for a collector like myself. In my opinion, Dino Charge is the best Neo-Saban ever got. I mean, they had a caveman, a knight and a prince as Rangers! #KodaIsTheBestRanger
Thanks for sharing, I agree there was a lot to like in Dino Charge, and both sides of the story from Sentai to the US adaptation showed their strengths.
Many fans like Dino Charge, but it's Dino Super Charge where things go back to lackluster. I'll never forget the two seasons, specifically Kendall, even though we had to blame Saban against plenty of original footage for the character, deciding that the show copies female Kyoryu Violet hardly around in Kyoryuger.
The Titan Megazord for me was the last neatly-looking deluxe toy before the Bandai of America crapstorm happened. Releasing that poorly-made Drivemax Megazord and Zords that didn't appear at the show at all was the start of BoA's downfall.
Fun fact mighty morphin was released in 1993 the same year that jurassic park and power rangers dino charge was released in 2015 the same year that jurassic world both franchise's starting point and current at the moment respectively.
The 2 zords i found the hardest to get was the Para zord and the Raptor zord as i started late collecting them but thank goodness i was able to get them off ebay
The one thing I don't like is how only the red T-Rex zord has the folding cape. Now I had to hunt around on eBay to get one to combine my Pteranodon Zord with my Spino Zord.
Is there any particular reason you call it "kaio-raiuger"? Since like the Gaburevolver has multiple sound clips where it pronounces "Kyoryuger" pretty clearly.
There might be better options but I literally used acrylic paint and then used a clear seal layer on top. Paint pens might do the same job in a neater way too!
Remember when you were talking about the extra megazords, you forgot one there was a repaint of the terra charge megazord it was white with a different head sculpt
@@darthkamen6564, yes there was I saw it while I was scrolling through amazon, and I saw it when I went to walmart during the time when super dino charge was on TV
I'm well aware what charger it's based on, but there was no zords of it made. No pictures, no listings, no reviews. It does not exist. Unless you mean the little toy that came with the charger, which isn't really a zord.
Definitely, and I think the most egregious problem is that the morph sequence involves slinging the morpher using the trigger finger loop - which they took off the toy! But, Dino Charge isn't my most favourite season so I can cope with everyone being 33% smaller as it takes up less space. Having said that, it looks like Hasbro are doing full size morphers for Beast Morphers, so if they'd been doing Dino Charge, we would have had a more accurate outcome.
Have you seen the Japanese toy release of these toys? Pfft the last great American toy release was wild force and Dino thunder then it all went down hill slowly. Now we're standing at the doors of beast x (go busters) megazord that can't even stand up straight under it's own weight and poorly made joints. Don't even get me started on a lack of paint I spit on Dino charges excuse for a plesiosaur zord

kai-oh-rai-uuger is the most interesting pronunciation I've ever seen, could've googled that one haha
I previously watched the whole series and knew how to say it perfectly and then just...goofed and forgot

Hasbro said they'll have better world wide releases so helpfully that'll help non US fans with picking stuff up in their countries
BiggMatt183 britain got the zords first
Yeah...
Well that was a lie
Makes me glad I have all the kyoryuger toys
I found one Titano Charge Megazord in my city at Kmart for $30. Bought it which completed my Dino (Super)Charge zord collection.
Nice, I have all the zords except the spino, anklo, and pachy zords and I don't have the zords that weren't in the show except the deinosuchus zord
Ohh man Love this video Dinocharge toys and series brought me back to collecting Power rangers Megazords
Great Video Man!

I wish I could of gotten more of these zords.
The only dino charge figure i found hard to find even in the states was the male purple ranger figure. I snagged it up once i saw it. Im glad i did
The Dino charge sword is shaped so it makes a whistle when you swing it hard at the right angle so you don't need batteries to have sound effects
Dark ranger appears in pr comic
This was the best toy line in my opinion
5:56 holy crap I would be feeling great if I saw that.

Also some reason why dino charge is my favorite season
I loved this toyline. I only missed the graphite zord and had to settle for the purple repaint. Out of what I collect. I only focus on zords.

Well, I just saw that you made one in Dec 2017. Update? :)
I'd say after this first Hasbro year we might need an update-!

I’m so mad at myself for never getting at least on megazord cuz now there really expensive and I think there really cool
Check eBay! There’s so many out there and now is about the time the original owners are selling on.
U pronounced Kyorurger wrong.
I need Titano but the secondary market (eBay) is so overpriced.
Weird how end of the season stuff always does this
Completely ignoring the fact that the gold morpher and ptera saber were absolutely terrible

Does the lack of detail and size on the morphers and Dino chargers not bother you

I want to tell you that Japan 🇯🇵 released a new version of Kyoryuzin for the current Super Sentai season Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger
Unfortunately I only got the gold Rangers Zord
The only good part was they released more monsters and a complete villains toy line.
hasbro's figures I have only 1 problem with and thats the villain figures legs arent as posable
You could've at least learned how to say Kyoryuger before saying it 4 times.
Just look up the roll call, or the intro, they say it all the time
I watched that whole sentai as well 😂😂😂
