FYI i downloaded the correct version from the page according your instructions, put the unzipped content into the root of the flash drive, put it into my A6 C8 USB, it found that automatically after a minute or so, then checked that, asked for a confirmation and then it took about 30-40 minutes to finish. I had to keep my driver's door open during that time and connect the 12V charger (6A was enough) to be sure it aint die in the middle of the process. Thank you.
Hi mate did you use a SD card? Im using a 64gb sd card and format is om exfat standard but once loading all data on card and olugging into vehcile SD card is not recognised (exact as this video)

In case your micro sd card is larger than 32gb : Open Command Prompt as Administrator: Click Start, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator. Open Diskpart: Type "diskpart" and press Enter. List Disks: Type "list disk" and press Enter. Select Disk: Type "select disk [number](replace [number]with the disk number of your SD card)" and press Enter. Clean Disk: Type "clean" and press Enter. Create 32GB Partition: Type "create partition primary size=32768" and press Enter. Assign Drive Letter: Type "assign letter=[letter](replace [letter]with your desired drive letter)" and press Enter. The map updates has a cool feature. When you come close to the destination, now it’ll tell you in HUD if the destination is on the left or right. I always suffered with this issue (when god was giving human gps: I was playing football it seems)
I can say that you are the only one on the net who shows others how to do it, and I will also update a q5. But I can also ask you something, how to have google earth on the audi q5 2017, without paying, it loads but does not start
It's worth noting you will need an SD card with 64 GBs or MORE because the maps have 32 GB and the 32 SD card will only have 31.37 GB free space when formatted.
I downloaded the West and Central Europe file but when I unzip it. I get 2 folders: OO and EEC. I don't get the MIB folders. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi @mr-fix, I installed the patch using GEM. The 023000ee is now visible in activation keys however still the 2023 maps are not working. I am getting “no valid update data found”. Please help me not sure what is missing.
@mr-fix please help with my fec code. I have the green menu setup but the 023000ee seems to be for EU region. The ROW 2022/23 maps require another FEC code, probably 023d002e according to some other forums. How do i get this code installed in my MIB? I currently have 023d0024 on my MIB, what are the latest maps can be installed using this code?

I have successfully completed the MIB patching and can now see the 023000ee FeC. And downloaded, the map version as supplied in this video for the rest of world (RoW) map, however the extracted file will is not recognised by the unit for a map update. Do you know whether a RoW map FeC is required for Australia/RoW region? E.g. 023D00ee.... how can I get maps updated in this instance? thank you

Hi all, yes sorted it out. The solution is so simple but not document it seems. You simply need to update the fec file inside of the patch folder for your car/firmware. I used notepad to change the 023000ee to changed a "0" to a "D". e.g. from 023000ee to 023D00ee and run the patch command again. It recognised the existing map, and allowed for map updates via normal process.

First of all, Thank you sooo much for putting this content together and sharing! In my case I was able to install the MIB app and access the GEM - but I couldn't update the maps. I have a A4 Avant B9 (2019) and use the Brazilian maps (rest of the world maps). I've downloaded them and unzipped the files to a SD card, but when I try to update it says that the SD doesn't contain valid files for update. I double checked the version (MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P5092) - seems to be the latest. Any hint or tip? I've noticed that the "key" is 023d002a, not the one you mention on your videos. Please, if you could help me, I would be grateful !
Thanks for your video, really useful. I had no idea I could upgrade my maps. In case there is a problem when using the SD card with new maps, can I simply put back the original SD card and return the car to how it was before any update? I have a 2019 Audi TT. Many thanks. Update Nov 2023. Followed every step, yet when it came to read the SD card it said 'no valid data'. Had 02300ee 'legal', MHI2 version. Download to Sd card worked fine, so no idea why it's not working, but it isn't! I used a micro SD card with an adaptor, maybe that's it? For info, tt was 2023-24 maps EU.

Yea i have a similar fec licence but its not quite the same,……mine is 02300024,…….but the one he shows on the video is 023000ee. My cat is Audi S3 2017. Not Q7 My OS is deffo MIB2 high. Could you please elaborate a little more on how you fixed this?

I enabled the MIB in GEM and did the AIO patch. For this i placed the the MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P3638_0917 folder in patches and did this and finally i had the 023000e license key. But i tried to update the maps and with update option from MMI it didnot work. So i enabled the SWDL and selected the user defined option through REM and the maps updated successfully and also the database i can see its latest 2022/23. But the navigation after a minute shows this error navation data is not activated. Can you please help me here?
My unit is MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P3638 and MU software 0917. I had the following licenses 00060900,00060800,00030000,0070200,00050000,023d0022 & 00040100. I the. enabled the GEM using the MIB and then placed the correct patch of my unit in the patch folder and ran the AIO patch. Then the license 023000ee came legal. Initally i tried the update using the MMI setings update. It was not working. Then what i did was i enabled SWDL and used the REM and then selected the navdb and updated successfully and also the map versions were updated and was shapwing 2022/23. But after a minute the navigation shows the navigation data is not enabled. I tried removing and repatching but still no luck. Can you please help me?

Hi, i have MHI2 with a recent update to K3663 and have successfully updated POI/Speed camera to the latest database too, i have the 023000ee legal maps licence, however when i try to update maps database from v03959801et 0105 ece 2015 to the latest version P330_N60S5MIBH3_EU.7z (extracted of course) it simply fails to recognise the files on the SD card giving the error message 'no valid update data were found on the medium' - any ideas where i may be going wrong please?
If you placed 3 things directly on the SD card (MIB1, MIB2, and metainfo), not hidden inside a folder, then it should be picked up. Also check if the card is formatted with FAT32.
@@mrfixpl have managed to find a solution. The AIO and Poi's worked fine off a Mac formatted/created SD card. The map database needed a windows created SD card, it wouldn't even see a windows formatted usb at all! All sorted thank you 👍👏

thank you very much, i did the firmware update and then i made the maps update, it worked without problems but now, my GPS isnt woking, in the car it shows my position offroad, any ideeas? Also, with Android Auto, the google maps isnt working, i cant set any direction and it wont get out of the app. on the other hand, Waze is working just fine, when i want to write a direction, it opens the keyboard on my phone so i can write where i want to go, but with google maps, nothing works, anyone else has the same problem as me ?

My A4 B9 with that MMI has got pACC but I have only seen it work when driving n countries like Germany, Austria etch. I am guessing installing the latest maps will not allow it to suddenly start working in Greece, right?

What can I do if I am missing the 02300ee activation key on my A3 E-Tron?? I dont dare to update the software to the new 3661.1, as I have Bang & Olufsen speakers in the car. I can't seem to start the update of my maps, and I dont know if it would help to update the software.

hey ive extracted the file onto the sd carf but when entering my SD card into the car it doesnt seem to appear as an option to update its greyed out. Im downloading the Europe west, central, GB my extracted files only says maps and not mib 1 mib 2 and that .txt file you have any solution?
Not in ACC but in pACC (predictive Active Cruise Control). pACC will adjust vehicles speed not only based on the front radar but also based on how the road ahead looks like (climbs, drops, curves...) and what are the speed limits. This is partially pulled from the navi database.

Looking for advice on updating maps for europe: I followed the video for Audi Q5, 2020, SW MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P5152. I downloaded from MIB-helper the latest version of maps for Europe, P390_N60S5MIBH3_EU, formated a 64GB SD card and copied the files per the instructions. When I tried to update, the MMI system came up with a message that no valid update data found on the medium. Any advice?
Really good video but no matter what version of the files mentioned i cant get my car to accept the update. Download works fine and extracting the files is OK, and transferring the files to my SDS card is also OK. When I then insert the sd card into my AUDI Q7 2016, the car finds the SD card as a possible update medium, but after checking it says that there are no files to update. I have checked that everything looks correct, exactly as in the video, but it doesn't work!!. In the video you use the file that starts with 0194, but this can no longer be downloaded?
I cannot seem to get access to MIBsolotion. when i tap on the link attached to the video it get "Error 1033 - Argo Tunnel Error". Is there anyway around it?
Put MiB helper into google. It has a tool that tells you which software you use and a link to a place you can find the software. Then he has a video on here how to do it. His web page is yellow. Yall know what i mean when you see it.

It is look good, but I have one problem more. When I want to set predictive ACC in Czechia or Slovakia system says "ACC predictive control unavailable in this country". But when I drive in Germany or Austria pACC works good. The car is Q7 (2017 year) sold in Germany. Can anybode help me to solve it please?

I was getting the same error. I had to force update the maps. There is a video on how to force update navigation, have a look.

@@nikyilu the 2022/23 maps using the fec code 023d002e was worked successfully. the zip file name starts with P101 for the ROW 2022/23 maps.

I have a A4 Avant B9 (2019) and use the Brazilian maps (rest of the world maps). I've downloaded them and unzipped the files to a SD card, but when I try to update it says that the SD doesn't contain valid files for update. I double checked the version (MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P5092) - seems to be the latest. Any hint or tip? I've noticed that the "key" is 023d002a, not the one you mention on your videos. Please, if you could help me, I would be grateful !
It doesnt work with Audi A5 B8 Hatchback 2017. MHI2Q and please guide the Carplay installation and charge only USB replacent by Data USB device

In case there is a problem when using the SD card with new maps, can I simply put back the original SD card and return the car to how it was before any update? I have a 2019 Audi TT. Many thanks. Update Nov 2023. Followed every step, yet when it came to read the SD card it said 'no valid data'. Had 02300ee 'legal', MHI2 version. Download to Sd card worked fine, so no idea why it's not working, but it isn't! I used a micro SD card with an adaptor, maybe that's it? For info, tt was 2023-24 maps EU.
I came to make a post about this,i have an audi TT and in mine it says MH12. But in the video it sats it has to be MH12Q

Yea i have a similar fec licence but its not quite the same,……mine is 02300024,…….but the one he shows on the video is 023000ee. My cat is Audi S3 2017. Not Q7
My OS is deffo MIB2 high.

@@mrfixpl i had the following 00060900,00060800,00030000,00070200,00050000,023d022,00040100. also the head unit MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P3638 and MU software is 0917. I enabled the MIB in GEM and did the AIO patch. For this i placed the the MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P3638_0917 folder in patches and did this and finally i had the 023000e license key. But i tried to update the maps and with update option from MMI it didnot work. So i enabled the SWDL and selected the user defined option through REM and the maps updated successfully and also the database i can see its latest 2022/23. But the navigation after a minute shows this error navation data is not activated. Can you please help me here?

My unit is MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P3638 and MU software 0917. I had the following licenses 00060900,00060800,00030000,0070200,00050000,023d0022 & 00040100. I the. enabled the GEM using the MIB and then placed the correct patch of my unit in the patch folder and ran the AIO patch. Then the license 023000ee came legal. Initally i tried the update using the MMI setings update. It was not working. Then what i did was i enabled SWDL and used the REM and then selected the navdb and updated successfully and also the map versions were updated and was shapwing 2022/23. But after a minute the navigation shows the navigation data is not enabled. I tried removing and repatching but still no luck. Can you please help me?

Let's see if it works this way 0.23|00|020. the real number, of course, is the continuous list of numbers you get when you take away anything that sits within the digits
Make sure the files are not in the extracted folder, drag them into your sd card and it should recognise them?

You need to patch your unit with M.i.B. so you will get the 023000ee Key/FEC in your Unit and the 2023 maps will be available when you try to update

Hi, i have MHI2 with a recent update to K3663 and have successfully updated POI/Speed camera to the latest database too, i have the 023000ee legal maps licence, however when i try to update maps database from v03959801et 0105 ece 2015 to the latest version P330_N60S5MIBH3_EU.7z (extracted of course) it simply fails to recognise the files on the SD card giving the error message 'no valid update data were found on the medium' - any ideas where i may be going wrong please?
If you placed 3 things directly on the SD card (MIB1, MIB2, and metainfo), not hidden inside a folder, then it should be picked up. Also check if the card is formatted with FAT32.
@@mrfixpl have managed to find a solution. The AIO and Poi's worked fine off a Mac formatted/created SD card. The map database needed a windows created SD card, it wouldn't even see a windows formatted usb at all! All sorted thank you 👍👏

thank you very much, i did the firmware update and then i made the maps update, it worked without problems but now, my GPS isnt woking, in the car it shows my position offroad, any ideeas?
Also, with Android Auto, the google maps isnt working, i cant set any direction and it wont get out of the app.
on the other hand, Waze is working just fine, when i want to write a direction, it opens the keyboard on my phone so i can write where i want to go, but with google maps, nothing works, anyone else has the same problem as me ?

Am having no luck installing on my A5. File will not extract to a 32GB SD so had to buy a 64GB. Had to work how to format as FAT 32. Did that but car is not recognising that there is a SD card in the slot.

My A4 B9 with that MMI has got pACC but I have only seen it work when driving n countries like Germany, Austria etch. I am guessing installing the latest maps will not allow it to suddenly start working in Greece, right?

Hi Jonas, i have the exact same version as yours in my Q7 Etron, i didn't check the FEC023000ee TBH, is it worth upgrading? i have car play activated from New and my Maps are from 2019, and also i am in the UK, the maps are saying east and central europe, this does not include UK, France/Spain. etc..
You will first have to install MIB, then run the patches to get the FEC CODE in the GEM menu of MIB. It’s easy.

hey ive extracted the file onto the sd carf but when entering my SD card into the car it doesnt seem to appear as an option to update its greyed out. Im downloading the Europe west, central, GB my extracted files only says maps and not mib 1 mib 2 and that .txt file you have any solution?
How does updating maps software result in adaptive cruise control?
Not in ACC but in pACC (predictive Active Cruise Control). pACC will adjust vehicles speed not only based on the front radar but also based on how the road ahead looks like (climbs, drops, curves...) and what are the speed limits. This is partially pulled from the navi database.

Looking for advice on updating maps for europe: I followed the video for Audi Q5, 2020, SW MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P5152. I downloaded from MIB-helper the latest version of maps for Europe, P390_N60S5MIBH3_EU, formated a 64GB SD card and copied the files per the instructions. When I tried to update, the MMI system came up with a message that no valid update data found on the medium. Any advice?
Really good video but no matter what version of the files mentioned i cant get my car to accept the update. Download works fine and extracting the files is OK, and transferring the files to my SDS card is also OK. When I then insert the sd card into my AUDI Q7 2016, the car finds the SD card as a possible update medium, but after checking it says that there are no files to update. I have checked that everything looks correct, exactly as in the video, but it doesn't work!!. In the video you use the file that starts with 0194, but this can no longer be downloaded?

Put MiB helper into google. It has a tool that tells you which software you use and a link to a place you can find the software. Then he has a video on here how to do it.

It is look good, but I have one problem more. When I want to set predictive ACC in Czechia or Slovakia system says "ACC predictive control unavailable in this country". But when I drive in Germany or Austria pACC works good. The car is Q7 (2017 year) sold in Germany. Can anybode help me to solve it please?
