We did the "Walking in Walt's footsteps" tour and love every footstep. We we're lucky to go into the apartment and my Wifey was honored to ring the doorbell. With respect you kept to one spot and didn't move or touch anything. We would do it again the next we go back. Thank you Brickey.....
Thank you from England, excellent, informative, video, who needs TV shows when guys like yourself bring us vlogs as professional as this. Thank you so much.
Thanks to you my brother and I just booked our tour for 10/17, can’t wait. Oh and to help you with any future rides, I too have a problem with going in circles and fast rides so I bought a Reliefband and no enjoy them all all.
Appreciate the feedback on this tour, I've been super curious about it. In the past I've taken people on the Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps tour (3 separate times) and have been able to visit Walt's apartment and the Disneyland Dream Suite in New Orleans Sq. I'm definitely in the camp that you got a lot more for less with the old tour. Could have been nice if they'd kept most of the features of the old tour (walk through history, a couple rides, Walt's apartment & lunch) but just raised the price point.
I really respect that you gave your impressions but did not show the tour and the guide’s commentary. It was 100% the right call. And your enthusiasm is infectious. I really hope your channel takes off. You have enthusiasm and knowledge and deserve to be among the top Disney park RUclipsrs.
I did this tour with my Dad on our last trip to Disneyland. It was his last trip ever and I am so glad I took the time and spent the money. He loved it. He got such a kick out of the apartment. It was honestly a dream of his and I got to share it with him. Thank you for reminding me of a very special time with my Dad. Edited: Okay, I actually did the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour. That was $119 pp and including lunch and it was about 4 hours long. You got to ride 2 attractions and you also got a full park tour of every land that Walt touched. You didn’t get to go out onto the patio but you did get about 30 minutes in the apartment.
Wow, so emotional. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this tour. I didn't know about it and would love to go in Walt's apartment. Definitely a bucket item.
I went on the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps which included his apartment. I am old enough that the first time I went Walt was still living and there was a much different feel to the park than the second time not long after Walt’s death. Standing in Walt’s apartment brought back that feeling, it was the best.
Thank you again!!! I said why the fuc* not and booked it for next week!!! I'm soooo thankful you made this video I didn't know they were doing this💕💕💕💕
Watched the part about Walt’s Apartment 4 times! I really would love to see it. Live in Washington State so will have to try and reserve it next time.. before the Pandemic, it was booked up so fast I could never get a reservation.
i did tour few years ago and i cried... ive never forgotten it, but walts appartment was having work done on it so they got special clearance to take us to Walts family suit apartment which is different and so magical.... was so worth the money. i wish i had photos to look back on but since i wasnt allowed to take any i have to go off memory.. i pray i dont loose that any time soon. but now i want to do this one. although it sounds like the price is bit high for what you got. my tour years ago was like 5hours, got to ride 2 rides front of the line haunted house and big thunder mtn (because it was a train in honor of walt) and got a nice lunch with a special pin and it was only around $100
Great Video, glad you enjoyed the tour. Funny, I was trailing you in a the opening shots, and I didn't even realize you were there. Love that Orange on you, definitely a good look.
We got to visit the apartment and ride in the Lily Belle on our final pre-COVID visit and it was an amazing experience. The apartment especially felt like there was still so much love there. I imagined Walt and Lilly smiling and happily watching their grandchildren play around them in there and it made me feel so happy inside. The apartment is a perfect example of why I will always love Disneyland the most. Walt lived here. It really *is* his Magic Kingdom.
I remember one year my mom & i were standing in front of Walt statue while watching the fireworks, my mom just happen to be looking at Walt & seeing the fireworks going off behind him brought tears to her eyes, that shows how much happiness Walt brought to many people. Thanks for sharing this video!
I’ve taken the Walk in Walt’s Footsteps tour many times. It had been years between trips and I was surprised they allowed Apartment access when we took it in 2018. Staying away from spoilers made that a huge surprise. But that tour was three hours and included lunch, and now it’s 90 minutes. What can ya do…
Brickey, I love that you can feel and share the magic that many of us who love Disney (especially Disneyland) can also feel when we step into that park. As a 53 year old woman I ask myself, how is it that this little park always makes me feel like a child of wonder?
First time watching your videos and I have to say, you made me cry, you’ve captured the feeling of being at Disneyland so perfectly that I cried so hard while watching this from Colorado. I grew up in CA and my family bought season passes for us. Disneyland was an escape for me during a very rough time in my life and I consider it my home as well. There’s nothing like that feeling of magic and adventure and I wish so much that I will be able go back someday, but in the meantime, thank you for bringing that feeling and that magic back to me 🥹
This made me emotional watching this I haven’t been since 2019, I’m going to be a wreck when I arrive back next year, I was in Orlando this year which was amazing, but this original park has something that history and magic no other park has, thanks for the video and story.
same here! my last visit was feb 2020 before park closures...i can't explain it either but i get the same feeling DLR resort will always be my home as it was for 30 years! so i am an CM and AP at WDW and was a CM and AP DLR and still miss is so much!
Same here. Current WDW AP but had been DLR AP for about 10 years. WDW appeases the masses from all over the world but DLR has all the real original magic from Walt himself.
Awesome to get this love letter to Disneyland right after your WDW trip. As I’ve heard some say, going to Disneyworld feels like going on the ultimate vacation, going to Disneyland feels like going home.
this video was amazing! when i was 18, my mom and i took the “walk in walt’s footsteps” tour - and only had ONE other person with us! that was when i learned about club 33, and got to see walt’s apartment.. and it seems like a dream now. disney memories are magical, but some are just a bit more magical than others. ❤
Well uh wasn't expecting to breakdown sobbing this morning. Gees if this is how I react to seeing the experience exists I definitely can't handle doing it. Hahaha
You are keeping the magic alive Brickey! So much “If you show them they will come” Field of Dreams vibes!! You have a way showing us the Disneyland/DisneyWorld that the child inside of me looks for every time I walk through that gate! Thank You! ❤️
Yes! From your palpable excitement leading up to the tour to your consideration and respect of the actual tour content, this review is perfect. Thank you for making it honest without any spoilers!
I waited to watch this until after I did the tour yesterday. I agree with your review. You’re essentially paying to see/hang out in Walt’s apartment. While the Main Street portion didn’t reveal anything most superfans already knew, it did provide a unique opportunity to “stop and smell the roses”. I’d never made Main Street a destination; it was just a neat place to pass through as you entered Disneyland. I spent time looking at all the touches and taking in the atmosphere; appreciating details I’d never noticed before. The apartment portion was a dream come true. Agree that it was not rushed, and I felt we had just the right amount of time. I also lucked out and had a personal tour with only one other person plus our guide. (She said the group before had the full 10, plus an extra 2 that missed their original start time). Overall, it was worth it to me just to see the apartment and patio, but definitely think it’s overpriced at $160.
Your a great content provider loved it. Way back when I got to go because of my Dad's friend was an exec there; but at the age I went I was so bored I actually hated it, but when your 10 you want to ride the rides. 🤣 Now older even your video is profoundly interesting to me.
Awwwee brickey you always get my eyes tearing!!! I love that hou love it so much and aren't even from here, being a Californian as a child we went constantly and it was so fantastic and then we left California 🙄 and then I came back and was able to go again after like 19 years and also take my 2 almost 3 years old for their very first time and it was sooooo magical!!! We are already planning another trip an may but till then I am so glad I have your videos to take me and hype me up lol
My bucket list item too…. Can’t wait to see the inside of Walt’s apartment sometime soon. Thanks for sharing your experience and the tour information. 👍🏻 1313
You did an absolute fabulous job on this video. It brought tears to my eyes. My son and I will be there in a couple of weeks. Cannot wait! Hope to see you there.
OMG!!! My dream tour. We got to tour Walt's apartment about five years ago. Loved it! Our tour was called "A Walk In Walt's Footsteps.". It includes a lunch at The Jolly and a collectors pin.
superlative video, brickey!!!!!!!everything i said in your last video, you did in this one. you showed the park the way walt wanted you to see it, you get a chance to see the park the way walt himself saw it,(out his front window, and all the smiling, happy people) and the photography you used was excellent. you could really feel the love in this one.......and the fun...... the "disney vibe". it dont get better than that.
I'm really glad you finally got to see the apartment. It's incredibly magical and your video definitely captures the feeling of being there without saying too much.
Hey Brickey I just found your vlogs and I love that you voice your opinions so openly true and you don't sugar coat. Loved this vlog keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing all that Main Street magic with us. The honest review, the storytelling and just getting to watch a bud rip Disneyland makes me miss being “home” with my friends
Well well Brickey there you go again hitting all the feels and making me so damn excited for my trip coming up. 39 more sleeps!!! Last time I was there was Feb 2013. Your creative storytelling will have me seeing Disneyland as if it’s my first visit. Just like you, I believe there is no better place to be! ❤ Thank you for allowing me to tag along with you on all of your Disney adventures even though I am in 🇨🇦
Very well done! I’m glad you left most of the tour as a surprise for those of us who choose to take it and fully agree with your choice not to share more. I’ve already booked a tour in December for my wife and me. She’s been going to Disneyland since the first year it was open and I’ve been fascinated with Disneyland since Walt shared his plans for the park on TV. I still remember vividly seeing Walt looking into his beloved Tiki Room from the door that’s on the left as you enter. The smile on his face said it all as he talked briefly to the two people who were standing there with him.
I watched both videos today of the vip and Walt’s apartment tour. I loved how you documented it. Giving us enough without spoiling it. Or giving that little extra info that makes it magical. Thank you!
Just a thank you for your wonderful, upbeat, creative and absolutely Joyful videos. This video is perfect in sharing Walt’s passion and vision for his park. Great content - you hit this perfectly!
So Bricky here’s a story about Walt’s apartment and the Main Street Fire Station ….while Walt’s wife and daughters were in it one day a man decided to climb the fire pole and peek inside the apartment. Mr. Disney calmly had the maintenance crew seal off that area and to this day it is sealed ! Next time you are at the Fire Station look up . Another great video Brickey and I don’t like buses either !
I totally agree with everything you said and did. I did the Walking in Walts Footsteps tour maybe 10 yr ago and it was amazing. You walked so much and got to do so much. It was light on history and facts I didn't already know, but worth every penny to stand in the Club 33 lift and visit Walts apt. The feeling inside that room was just so special, I remember getting goosebumps and almost speechless. At that moment, it was worth every penny I paid to stand in that room. Looks like they let you do far more up there now, I'm jealous. I'll have to take my parents on the tour when we visit for their anniversary. (Pro tip, I think they still have disney visa discounts?)
Love Hey Brickey! Keep up the good work ! This video is full of great Disneyland vibes ! They should offer a beignet and a mint julep for a snack at the apartment patio.
This was a great Video Brickey, very informative and thoughtful. I still think it’s an overcharge, but you make a good point with the right group of buds it could be worth it.
Ok, DL got me! Added the tour to a visit with my daughter next month. Loads available, yes very pricy, but always been on my list for sure. Can’t wait! Curious how large the group can really get, but honestly I don’t care. Thx so much Brickey, would’ve never known but for you. Btw, loads of handsome red-bearded bball players this yr, mostly on the Giants, I think one guy on the Dodgers, it’s quite the thing. Just saying don’t put it down, you are apparently in with the in crowd my friend 😉
Brickey thank you letting me tag along with on what I call one heck of a magical day and being able to hear you talk about a iconic tour which I learned so much about that tour after hearing you and yes it just felt good to be back in the park through your eyes and yes Brickey you made my day that much better and yes you were so right it truly is great to be back home and for me personally I will always love ❤️ Disneyland and hold a special place for it in my heart because it is still the original Magic Kingdom that paved way for all the other Disney parks boy do I love Disneyland now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Brickey and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you peace ☮️ out ✌️
i got to do it a few days ago as a CM. i also did Walk in Walt's Footsteps back in 2019. it's very light compared to footsteps. i agree with your 70 dollars too much. i'm interested in the Holiday tour. it's supposed venture into both parks. anyway, great video and on point dialogue as usual! 👍👍
Dude the minute you said you were going into Walt's apartment I started to ugly cry and I didn't stop through your whole video. of course I wish it was less expensive but I don't think I care how much it costs to go in his apartment. thank you for the hot tips! 👍🏻✌🏻
Tha k you for sharing what you did and holding back everything else about this tour. I will be taking it Wednesday and am very much looking forward to all it has to offer. Of course, my main reason is to experience the apartment while picking up a few tidbits along the way. Can’t wait!
loved this post! Thank you for every detail. Making my reservation right this moment. My long time dream is to be in that apartment, where Walt enjoyed watching people enter his dream park❤ so its definitely worth it for me👏👍😀
Hey brickey!👋👋👋👋 So we're planning a trip ther first week of may and had been talking tho a lady about there being a lift avalible up to there porch for accessibility, my mom has ms, she can walk but not much not fir long and really not up or down stairs, what can you tell us about accessibility? We really want to do this apartment seems kinda small like she might be able to do it and Just hold on to walls if needed?
I think it was Diane Disney that said after walt died she wanted to take her personal items out of the apartment and the company said no. So she asked a cast member and he did it for her. He was fired and she hired him at WED company.
Was supposed to come in Sept for Oggie Boogie, but to cancel at the last minute. Will be there in mid- December, if all goes well. Can't wait, may even book this tour, again.
My wife and I took that tour when it was called Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps.. LOVED IT!!

Me and my kids watch this video. This is wonderful. I’ve now promised them that we will now have to go on this tour. Thank you for sharing this.
Wow Brickey! I've been watching your videos since COVID and I've never seen this one. Really excellent Brickey! Bravo!

They should have grilled cheese for the food 🥰 @@jessemask2562
Wow, so emotional. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this tour. I didn't know about it and would love to go in Walt's apartment. Definitely a bucket item.
As soon as I saw the tours were back I thought that one is a must do!
We booked. There are 4 of us for next week! Yay! Thanks B!

Loved this!! Thank you for sharing, we are looking forward to one day going to CA & going to the park & the tour touch our hearts, how very special.
What a beautiful video, thank you 😊
Tears!!!! Loved this video! Thank you!❤
Great Video, glad you enjoyed the tour.

Appreciate the honesty! I’m going in January and was considering the tour!
Another great video Brickey, too bad you couldn't get a picture of you gazing out the apartment window. As they say, it's good to be home.
We have a cast member who is a friend and she shared pictures when she got to go in.
Love the colorful shirt perfect for fall!😊
Love the outfit! Let’s see more of those!🤓❤️

I am loving the new format, don’t get me wrong I enjoy all your videos. I’m glad I discovered you through Adam the woo
Love Hey Brickey! Keep up the good work ! This video is full of great Disneyland vibes ! They should offer a beignet and a mint julep for a snack at the apartment patio.
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Fonz 👍
@@J_Pike Hey.
This was a great Video Brickey, very informative and thoughtful. I still think it’s an overcharge, but you make a good point with the right group of buds it could be worth it.
Booked the tour on 11/18!!!!
Coming back to Disneyland in November might have to do this tour
I would do that tour just to get into Walt’s apartment! Thank you for the tour review I will consider booking this tour on my next Disneyland trip!
The way you made this video was perfect! Thank you for sharing!!
Can’t wait!
So cool! I can’t wait to do this tour! Thanks for this vlog!
This was so cool. I'm new to this channel but am loving it. I love your respect for Walt and the park and the guests. Thumbs up!!
loved this post! Thank you for every detail. Making my reservation right this moment. My long time dream is to be in that apartment, where Walt enjoyed watching people enter his dream park❤ so its definitely worth it for me👏👍😀
Love your approach on your videos! Very talented and grateful! Thank you!
Hey brickey!👋👋👋👋
So we're planning a trip ther first week of may and had been talking tho a lady about there being a lift avalible up to there porch for accessibility, my mom has ms, she can walk but not much not fir long and really not up or down stairs, what can you tell us about accessibility? We really want to do this apartment seems kinda small like she might be able to do it and Just hold on to walls if needed?
Amazing job 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Bricky, I so want to do this tour! 🥰
Perfect way to come “home” after your east coast adventure. So glad you got to visit that special place. #club1313

Love it. Thank you!
I definitely have to do that someday thanks for the amazing stories
I think it was Diane Disney that said after walt died she wanted to take her personal items out of the apartment and the company said no. So she asked a cast member and he did it for her. He was fired and she hired him at WED company.
It was Lily that wanter her items back. Have you been to SF family museum yet. Pretty cool stuff there.
Definitely on my list of things to do on the Disney bucket list!!!
Fabulous job!! Thanks Brickey!! Did they mention why the lamp was recently replaced in Walt's window??
was looking forward to this review & was not let down! reminds me of the interior tour at the eames case study house.
Was supposed to come in Sept for Oggie Boogie, but to cancel at the last minute. Will be there in mid- December, if all goes well. Can't wait, may even book this tour, again.
