The hand of cards is such a great analogy, and it's awesome how it can still be combined with 'playing the slots'. Thank you for another clear, calm, fun, and helpful video Rob!
Experience d tip...If you go into the back of EPCOT near the Boardwalk Resort, you can do Remi Ratatoullie ride at rope drop. Standby line was 30 mins but the line moves quickly and its a 10 to 15 minutes wait for the first ride of the day
Been planning for a disney trip this December and your LL videos are for sure the most well-explained I could find! Thank you so much for all the tips and demonstrations, it really helps to visualize the whole process. Can't wait for MK and HS ❤😄
Hi Robert! I really appreciate all your videos, I speak french, i'm from Quebec, Canada and your informations is very clear to understand for me. You don't speak too fast like somebody else on RUclips Disney channels and that's wonderful. You are the best guy and an amazing RUclipsr reporter. Also you're so funny and generous. Thank you so much!! I'm going to Disney in 32 days and i'm very happy to know your tips and tricks. I listen all your recommendations. I follow the guide, because you're the king of Disney Lightning Lane. We love you Robert! 😊 Take care!!!
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this lovely note! I hope you have an amazing visit next month. Please say hello if you see us in the parks. 😃
This was so useful thank you! Our LLs open up Feb 1st and I’m trying to get all the tips I possibly can 😊 First time back since 2017 from UK, this will be our two little boys’ first visit ❤
Another great video Ear Scouts!!!! Always learn something new with every video!!! Just watching your excitement is part of the joy of the videos!!! You are the best!!!!
Thank you SO MUCH for showing what it’s like to do this on a busy day!!! We always travel during the busiest times (ie, Thanksgiving/spring break) and I get so tired of the “the parks not that busy today” videos.
Another terrific video - thank you! Always such practical advice and I love how you focus pon not missing our on park time by being on your phone constantly!! Can't wait to see more of what you are planning!
Hi Rob! I'll be in Disney World for the next few months and these videos are so helpful. I'm sure my trip will be somewhat stress-free thanks to your videos and help!
Thank you! Planning a trip for four to Epcot on 12/7 and this will be my first time with a multi pass lightning lane. Hoping it works out that we can ride all we’d like to!
Rob! You are the best! My mom and I are here at Disney World together after a hard year, and we are SO READY to make the most of it with multi pass and single pass. Thank you for explaining it so clearly! We would love to treat you to a coffee at Joffrey’s outside of Hollywood Studios, Monday, November 18 around 2:30pm. (If you can’t make it, we understand.) Thanks for all you do to spread joy to all of us Disney fans!
It is 9:45am, and we have already done Peter Pan, It’s a Small World, Little Mermaid, Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. We have Slinky Dog, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and Winnie the Pooh in our pocket with Multipass, and we have Single Pass for Seven Dwarves Mine Train. Amazing Day!
Excellent video explaining multi pass! I’m a travel agent and I will be sharing this video with all of my clients. Can’t wait to see the other parks and interested to see how the premiere pass continues to impact future use.
Something about your voice and the way you explain things makes you my favorite channel to watch as we prep for our WDW trip in a few weeks! If you have any tips (or previous videos) on doing WDW with a 2 year old (requiring Rider Switch on top of our LL), would greatly appreciate it!
Hello, I really love your videos. I have a question. I plan to use the early entry and de rope drop to do Frozen, Remy and Soaring. How can I use my three lightning lanes more efficiency considering that?
Hi Marissa! Good luck with your RunDisney event day - it can get kinda crazy. 😄 We cover a lot more about hopping in our recent 27 Tips for Lightning Lane Multi Pass video.
Excellent info!! Looks like a fun day 😊 Interesting that you were able to tap in 35 mins late and it still turned green. Have you had a chance to test the limits even more? I’ve heard rumors of 2-3 hours leeway since multipass came out but I won’t believe it until I hear it from Ear Scouts!! Thanks for the entertainment!
Always the best, Rob. Thank you. I have to say that as attendance picks up and with Premier Pass I’m concerned that booking certain rides will be very difficult. Thrill Data is already beginning to show low or no availability for popular rides even 7 days out.
A question I haven’t seen addressed yet…If your Disney Resort reservation starts on a certain day, but your date based park ticket starts the next day….do you book seven days before your resort check in day or seven days before your first ticket day? Love Ear Scouts! You make learning the evolving systems so much fun! ❤
I saw this guy filming the Tiki Statues at Magic Kingdom today- he looked legit.. so it caught my attention. Then as I passed by I heard him say, ‘it’s the most magical place in the world… to get spit on!’ 😂 Now here I am on RUclips looking up Skyline info, and I recognize your face in the suggested videos. Pretty sure that was you! Talk about “A SMALL WORLD”! 🌎 Thanks for the great content. Instant subscribe!✌🏻
Do you have any PDF or webpage with all the rides and their card deck equivalents? I think this is a GREAT way to understand the ride hierarchy, and would love to use it to plan my trip in January! Thanks in advance. You are the top tip channel, just ahead of DFB!
Thanks for all the tips. Can you modify times to overlap in days ahead or only day of visit. We are trying to modify for next week for an overlap time but are not able to do so.
Love the videos! Just looking for some clarification - at 19:00 if you were to tap back out of the modify screen, would you lose your lightning lane for that ride or would it just revert back to your original time?
I have a multiday ticket starting on the 7th, so I can 1st make my selections on the 4th, my question is, can I book LLs for all 4 park days on the 4th? And if so, can I alter which day I'm going to which park once my LLs are booked? Thank you so much for the channel, it's been a lifesaver.
If you have park hopper for two days at Disney, and I stay at a resort, am I able to use lightening lane to pick three select rides for both days at my starting park?
Great video as always. you really are the best resource for all things lightning lane. One question. If i buy a single pass 7 days out and then am able to get a virtual que day of, can i cancel the single pass and get my money back
Thank you for this comprehensive strategy for going to Epcot. Love your videos! I will be arriving at Epcot via Skyliner early entry and I’m wondering if you think it’s best to book an evening Remi lightning Lane and just have that and then do everything at the front as you did. I know I definitely want to do Remi, but I also want to take advantage of early entry at the front of the park. I guess what I’m asking is does it matter to have one lightning lane tied up all day long? Thank you
Good question. We’d like to, but this system is a lot harder to use when you arrive later in the day. We’ll see if we can come up with some tricks to share. Thanks for watching! 😃
Ad someone who was not at a Disney hotel and recently been to Epcot, the lightning lane was kind of a hasel and not being in a Disney hotel really makes you feel like a second class citizen haha. It was still fun but i enjoyed the experience more at Animal Kingdom.
When you go to buy your lightning lanes 7 days before your trip, do you have to get it for everyday of your trip or can you just get it for one or 2 days?
Thanks for all your videos. They are extremely helpful especially for 1st timers. Were going end of January. Is there time to take the bus from the all stars to hollywood and get to the back entrance at epcot in time for early entry? Thanks!
Hi Tarafic - glad to hear you have found our videos helpful! Yes, you can take the first bus, which will typically leave around 1 hour before early entry begins at Hollywood Studios. I would arrive at the bus stop 15 minutes before that time since the bus can arrive early and when the resort is crowded, the first bus may fill up before you get to board if you’re farther back in line. Hope you have a great trip!
I would’ve gone to Remy at park open lines not long typically. Then walked to frozen. Are there not early hours when run Disney happens? **I know this was plan to show LL. Love the videos do you have one from a Christmas week?
Can 3 people in your group all try at the same time to book different lightning lanes @7am (the 7 or 3 days before) for your first 3 choices? Or will they need to be done one at a time?
Your videos are so helpful!! I'd love to see a video on how to park hop with the new LLMP system. Which park(s) do you recommend we start with, and what park should we hop to in the afternoon?
yeah I would love too! Im coming do DW December 1&2. My plan is doing Animal Kingdom (to ride Avatar and maybe 1 or 2 other rides) then go to MK. The next day I plan to do Hollywood (rise of resistance and a few others) then go to EPCOT to grab Cosmic Rewind (I will try to get a LL and virtual queue also)
Hi Jessica! You should check out our last Genie Park Hopping video. While the Genie stuff is obviously out of date, we had a section in there where we went over the pros and cons of starting and ending with each of the parks on your park hopping day. I think you’d find that helpful in planning. Thanks for watching! 😃
This is the video: Ultimate Guide to Park Hopping with Genie Plus in 2024: Tips for All Four Parks at Walt Disney World ruclips.net/video/lSGVcaCBszM/видео.html
I am afraid that if I wait to try for the virtual queue and don't get in one, then I have missed my 7 day benefit to purchase single pass for guardians. Our trip isn't til June 2026 so maybe it won't be as difficult then? This is my grandson's top priority so I don't want to risk missing it.
We disembark a cruise ship and we are staying at Port Orleans Riverside and hoping to get to Epcot Sunday 1/26 between 11-1. Is it worth purchasing the lighting lane?
You sure can, just modify one of your Lightning Lanes. But keep in mind that until midnight on the day of your visit, the system typically won’t let you overlap any reservations including LLs, dining, etc.
Thank you for so many good tips! It made our Disney days go by so smoothly and thank you for being so sweet to stop and chat today when I saw you in the park!
For most of the ride, it is the front seat of a the back car which feels like it moves faster, but for another part of the ride, row 9 is the front row of the whole train so you get the best view of the Big Bang.
If you book Soarin as your first tier 1 choice, what is the likelihood that you still get frozen and Remy throughout the day? One person in my group has never ridden Soarin so that is a priority for us, but I’m worried about choosing that first and never being able to get a time for either of the other two tier 1 rides.
Soarin is easy to book. It will be available pretty much all day whereas the other two will not. I would always aim for Frozen or Remy as the pre-booked tier 1 if you plan to book both.
Rob -- as always, such great information. Thank you! Off-topic question: do you always shoot b-roll every time you ride a ride, or do you have a "stockpile" of ride b-roll that you just use and re-use?
Thank YOU for watching! Yes, I have a lot of b-roll stockpiled, but I always film new footage for outdoor attractions because the sky always looks different and also because it is less distracting for other guests on outdoor rides. For indoor rides, I occasionally update the footage to keep it fresh or when I get new equipment, though I’ll often skip filming if I can so I don’t disturb other folks around me.
@@EarScouts I’ve always wondered if you truly ride all the rides after tapping in for a video. Some days don’t you just skip a ride here or there if you aren’t in the mood? Or are you always in the mood for a Disney ride?? 😊
I’m always in the mood, though I will very occasionally do this when I need to make up time. For example, I may need to film something unrelated to the current video which can put me behind schedule. In that case, I might skip the ride to get back to where I should have been time-wise.
Keep playing the slots to modify and get earlier times… plus, now that you can pre-book 3, hopefully you can have one top tier ride already booked and then play the slots for the second one. Hopefully you’ll be able to get it in before you park hop.
Okay, I'm utterly confused with lightening lanes. Is there a video out there on exactly what it looks like and exactly how to book something? Also with individual lightening lanes, if you purchase one is it guaranteed you get the attraction? And is there a time they give out?
Near the beginning of this video, Rob walks you through the booking process on the app, and later on he shows you how to modify rides/times: ruclips.net/video/o9ElUCzkivM/видео.htmlsi=c0XlP0kUiy9qpKjL
When you book a Single Pass Lightning Lane (which used to be called an Individual Attraction Lightning Lane) it is guaranteed that you can ride the attraction during the time you book it for (you will select the time before you buy) IF it is operating at that time. If the ride goes down during your time slot, you will be given an “experience redemption” that will allow you to come back when it reopens (assuming it does reopen).
Some are, yes. And many have related experience or training such as being in the college program while studying biology, zoology, etc. One of our friends is a CM there and is a marine biologist.

Thanks so much, Gabriel! I’m so glad you’ve been finding our videos helpful. 😊
No one makes better lightning lane videos than ear scouts!!

Boyz II Men!! Saw a pic of the lines to get in that day… guessing that played a part in how busy it was ;)

Love the videos! Just looking for some clarification - at 19:00 if you were to tap back out of the modify screen, would you lose your lightning lane for that ride or would it just revert back to your original time?

Hi Tarafic - glad to hear you have found our videos helpful! Yes, you can take the first bus, which will typically leave around 1 hour before early entry begins at Hollywood Studios. I would arrive at the bus stop 15 minutes before that time since the bus can arrive early and when the resort is crowded, the first bus may fill up before you get to board if you’re farther back in line.
How do we park hop with top rides having such late return times?
Keep playing the slots to modify and get earlier times… plus, now that you can pre-book 3, hopefully you can have one top tier ride already booked and then play the slots for the second one. Hopefully you’ll be able to get it in before you park hop.
Does lightning lane multiples include tax? So if it was 25/person on the website is it true? Or 25+tax/person? Thank you!
It does not include tax… that will be added.
@Meeshwell thank you!
@BetweenTwoFernsWV thank you
Thanks for sharing that! 😃
@EarScouts thank you. You all have cleared up so many questions
Are you real sure that the cast members at the seas are marine biologists?
Some are, yes. And many have related experience or training such as being in the college program while studying biology, zoology, etc. One of our friends is a CM there and is a marine biologist.
FYI If you vomit on a ride, like Mission Space, you get free clothes from the gift shop to wear.
Seriously?
