Not really sure why I blanked on this. Probably was just to excited when I recorded but as many have pointed out the light is still for stealth as it’s always been.
I'm just saying this for those who haven't heard. But this is not metro 4 I think its a side game while metro 4 is being developed. It has nothing to do with artyoms story. That being said im looking forward to this adventure.

5:28 Blue light is not for radiation. Blue light tells you that you are in light and people and monster can see you like in other metro games. You can see it on the clip when you are hiding with pistol behind 2 guys
BTW, the game looks so good. I played every metro game and can't wait for VR game.
@hexon2137 yea im a fucking idiot for forgetting. That one. I think I was too excited for this and just blanked everything I knew. I also think the VR aspect makes me think things would change. What are you most excited about when it comes to this game? What do you really want them to do different if anything.

If you're asking about my expectations, I really like the atmosphere of the metro from the first part, mainly walking in a dark where you don't know when someone or something will kill you. but I loved the inventory system and the Player condition system on the glove from metro exodus. it goes great with the combination of vr half life alyx gloves
@hexon2137 I found out yesterday this game will be 7-10 hours. That’s what they are aiming for.
I 100% feel everything you said. Metro/alyx mix seems like it could be good for this game. We also really have the Jeff feeling here IMO.
What im really hoping is they add those little spiders going across your face and arm at some points of the game even though it'll give me a heart attack😂

I hope we get to fight the Red Line and the Reich again, i also wonder if the Spartans will have an appereance, if they do, we could possibly get to meet a younger version of Colonel Miller, that'd be cool
Amazing video, i am one of the biggest fans of metro games, git platinum on all of them but this is not the reason why am writing, the reason is that i would've never thought of all the things u said about the back pack, workbench etc. Once I saw this trailer I had the most goosebumps ever and after watching this I am a lot more excited and have a lot more goosebumps. Cus of this video u deserve a sub 💪💪

@@ButtorsVRGaming well that the biggest problem I have, I don't have a ps5 , oculus or PC so no unfortunately won't be able, but as soon as I get a ps5 and vr for it I will definitely play it
Hopefully if this does well they'll rerelease Metro Exodus in VR

That was not a grenade a 5:08 that is the charger for powering up headlamp and powering up switch boxes when exploring. Essential tool for traversing the metro. So your not left in the dark. Blue light on the watch is when your are visible to others. Part of stealth mechanic
@averthaniel4087 yea I made a comment that’s pinned. Been looking through lore the last few weeks as well for this game there is a lot of potentials ALOT. Some kind of wondering where we could see this one go TBH.
@@ButtorsVRGaming im a major fan of the series. Read the books and played the games. Metro Exodus was glorious. Glad they are giving us something before the release of the 4th metro game
That blue light only flickers when you are in place where the enemy can see you. If the light is off, then they can't see you...

If anyone has played the Espire games, you’ll know only too well that you can play stealthy in vr, you don’t have to go all out guns blazing!

Yeah but it was too similar to Metro. When making a game inspired by another, you have to do enough to make your game more distinct from the original. That’s why Into the Radius hasn’t gotten taken down despite being Stalker inspired

@@stefandinu6389they definitely don’t. I just finished watching a video on it and it literally looks like Merto. Some enemies look too similar to ones from metro (ie: snout and the spiders from exodus), apparently a picture from the game had the shambler (the actual name of the shotgun), and come on even the watch looks straight off of artyoms wrist. It’s no wonder it was taken down.

@Caes3r_ into the radius is getting a second game as well in regard to the stalker series.
People speculate this is an origin story for Khan and Serdar is Khan's birth name. The Steam page even calls the game a supernatural origin story.
@ChrissieBear OMG. That would be sooooo good. I hope that speculation is right. Would be very interesting to see that story before we met him in the state we did.

I'm now wondering if Serdar is a young khan. They look similar from what we see of him and if this is a more spiritual journey this could explain khans connection to the spirits of the metro. Not that we needed an origin story but if he is khan hopefully the story hits hard
I'm sure the q3 version will just be the q2 build.. so that'll be fun..
@workingclassfather1843 I think you will be right at launch. Sadly I think just like the PSVR 2 the tech in terms of game development is still new and throws a wrench into the fray when it comes in mid dev cycle.

@gfin4576 yep. Had to clip at 50% speed. It’s a replay. To show that there is no hopping of animation or anything. It’s a slowed clip of the animation that was shown 2 seconds prior.

So if this is khan i wonder how this will tie into his dlc section. Also given this is 4 years before 2033 we will most definitely be running into dark ones which will be awesome cuz ive missed them

@Fatalmokrane 100% was worried then researched for a little before putting out the video. It’s coming to everyone and I think that’s how it should be. Glad everyone will be able to enjoy.
I have all platinum trophies on ps for all 3 metro games even so all achievements on PC and when I saw this trailer for Metro Awakening? I knew I had to get a vr, I was debating between the psvr2 and the quest 3 and to be honest the quest 3 is very very amazing the worst thing about it tho is just battery life that’s the only thing that doesn’t make the quest 3 a 10/10 headset in my opinion.
Since we’re returning back to Moscow 5 years before Artyoms journey I really do hope we get to go to the Lenin Library like we did in 2033 and last light DLC or at least have an encounter with librarians just imagine you as the player have to stare the creature in its eyes until it goes away 😂😂💩.
Is it a sequel for metro exodus because if it isn’t I’m going to be so mad ❤❤

Just played it in VR man it’s not that bad. It’s gonna be great and scary. I already have three pairs of brown pants ready.
That's a hard pass for me. I have the Quest 3 & they're going to give me the same version as the Quest 2.

Played all 3 games on ps5 and you’re right none of these games have eating or drinking, so I doubt very much that eating to restore health will be a feature in vr.
