- There are alot of theories about metro awakening. Some more likely than others. Who is the protagonist and how the game will play. We also got some new info from 4A games about the games length. Is it worth the price point?

I don't think 60 bucks is justified for a 7-hour game, but this is Metro we're talking about and they put a lot of quality into their games so I think it's completely justified if it's going to be $70 or $60 or whatever for this game
The thing is vertigo games is making it and their arizona suneshine games was $50 and that was overpriced for that quality. Hopefully vertigo games lives up to the metro legacy of deep silver because as far as i know, deep silver is only publishing, not developing the game
@@bxile730 I personally really did like the Arizona Sunshine series and I know that a bunch of people did too. I really did like the second game. I did think it was overpriced but I thought it was really good but vertical games didn't only make Arizona Sunshine. They make other games too and their games usually have pretty good quality, also, it looks like from the game trailer that they built this off of the backbone of Half-Life Alex, you can see by how the hands move and by how the game just looks itself
@@MR.TOPHAT2007 i liked Arizona sunshine 2 as well but it was a complete buggy mess in my experience. I had to start the game from beginning mid way through because of a game breaking bug. Half life alyx is a good example of a game that has the quality’s worth $60-$70
I stopped playing metro last light. Loved it but it’s too long. At certain point I was wishing it would end already. Kills the replay value
I hope they add a mode like last lights kshatriya dlc, probably butchered that spelling but that mission was phenomenal and would love to see something like it for replayability
if its on half life alyx level. Then I would pay 100!!
I certainly won’t ever be paying 60 bucks for a game . I don’t care how good it is..

❤ Metro awakening VR will fail if it does not have 11 plus hours of content, anything less just shows a lack of effort and is a disservice to Metro fans, gaming, & VR industry. Respectable games need 11 hours minimum, period anything less is a slap in the face to gamers for this type of exalted & valuable IP.
TV series need minimum 10 episodes or they should be called "mini-series" not full season series... We as fans can not let this SHRINK continue or soon we will be playing 4 hour tv series and 3 hour games. Fight the shrink! :)

@avaron_VR_gamecat to play devils advocate here alyx is only 6-7 hours long if you just go and don’t explore at all. So. However I expect we get 7-12 hours here based on industry in its current state.

i only wish it was made by the original developers from Russia. Russia makes good games. maybe they were consulted. waiting for this game impatiently.
They literally had to lease the IP so they had to talk with the original developers

Metro wasn't made by russians, the book was written by an anti Putin russian but the game itself was made by a Ukrainian studio
@@skateorbrino they weren't "Russians living in Ukraine" they were Ukrainians. It's quite disrespectful especially if you considered that some of the developers have died protecting his country from the russians.
Will it only be playable in vr?
Yes. VR only. The devs did state they are working on the next metro game.
Leo, its only vr, if you dont play vr, take a leap of faith and invest in vr if possible. Its next level gaming. The immersion is absolutely gold. You wint regret it.
@@bxile730yeah its great with a pc I complete agree but on the PlayStation it is just so bad. I'm pretty disappointed that you cant play this with your controller im a huge fan of metro but this is just so disappointing😔
