bro i'm devastated, this car was what made me realize i wanted an integra for years and i finally found one 2 months ago, just so disheartening to see this happen and especially insurance doing fuckall i hope you guys can figure out a way to keep the car because it's been my favorite since day 1

I lost my eg6 1 month ago. I fell asleep coming from work at 5am, hit a concrete light post going 80kmh . The car was completely totaled , and my girlfriend was riding with me, stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks. Seeing her in that state completely overshadowed the car obviously. The eg was my first car , i never thought I would lose it this way. I see the integra is a money pit but dont lose your love for that car men, you know its worth it. Above everything im glad you are okay.
New bumper, through her on the frame puller. Set you back around $2.5k. But the car would be back to her former glory! $2.5k is a decent chunk you could spend on the EK; but you could make more touge content and get the car back to where it was. Those videos will help you make some more cash. Probably not enough to make back everything, but it'll definitely help. Shit happens man, just gotta push on, keep grinding!

I also got hit in the rear on my 87 Prelude SI and insurance didn't cover anything. The bumper itself was somehow intact, but my rebar was completely destroyed. Luckily, I found a used one off ebay for 255, I cleaned the rust myself, and gave it a fresh coat of paint enamel. In the end, the bumper turned out way better than it ever did before. As long as insurance keeps it as clean title. Take a look under the bumper, adjust, fix what you can. If you really think about, they don't make integras anymore, they gonna just get more and more rare if we keep throwing them out. I'd say, don't give up on hope. You and I both know that with any car there's always hardships, and it's usually some bs when installing parts, but this is part of it.
Very unfortunate.. My GSR got Tboned by an old man and i flew into a ditch, good thing he had insurance. But im planning on rebuilding it after college. I already bought an LS Shell, engine is fine, i just have to swap everything over .Watching you guys really motivated me, especially the integra. Hopefully you guys will rebuild it ❤

Don't give up on the integra bring it back to life its not really that bad i know you said it has frame damage but with a new bumper you can't even really tell its been in a accident a little love is all it needs save the integra
I have a 94 GSR with a bunch of money dumped into it. I don't know what id do if I got into any type of accident no matter how big or small w that car. I understand your pickle situation. I personally wouldn't wna dump a bunch of expensive genuine parts into a car that has been in an accident. It would be cool if you guys parted this one out and picked up a clean chassis to do a tribute build, or pick up where you left off w this one.
part it out and start something new. its not worth the hassle, money, and time dealing with lawyers and insurance. Part of the risk of running with 90s jdm cars is it getting messed up. its best to part it out and get a shell or move into a newer chassis, like the EP3 Si. We did not get the Type R, however we did get the same exact chassis and interior, so its basically a baby Type R and all you'd have to do is swap the engine, transmission, and give it an LSD. Boom you have the EP3 Type R that we never got.

The integra is why I got so invested with you guys channel since I had my own at the time. But if it's not worth investing into anymore get something new. Something similar to honor the integra in the new whip.
Buy it back as salvage and repair it. rear body might be pushed in a little but should be fixable with a pull. Is not that bad seeing how you can still open and close the trunk. Once rear body back to original position, the gap on top should be gone. There is no way insurance going to cover that JDM bumper unless you buy specific policy. Insurance see these aftermarket part as additional equipment and there is a certain cap they will pay . Usually just couple hundred to a thousand dollars and it applies to like windows tint, ceramic coating and A/M parts etc.😉good luck.
Its honestly salvageable I got rear ended in my 8th gen si and the trunk was pushed in. Including the bumper and crash bar was slightly bent took it insurance showed them how much the repairs would be and showed them how much a 8th gen si is worth on the market and they didn't write it off and fixed it.

Frame damage is only dangerous if you're pushing big boy power and the car isn't rigid enough for it. Take off and keep all the good parts for the next teggy. Keep the engine and throw dummy one in the bay. Do it before insurance tow the car. They're literally going to junk your car to get crushed.
I would definitely recommend the EK. Would make a great new series you can focus on, and makes more sense money wise! It hurts to say goodbye to any car really.. But that’s reality. Life is not fair. Regardless, good luck! Keep up the quality content ❤

Just so you know I got into an accident and my car years ago and the insurance guy came and wrote me a check for $350. I was told that I can cash the check or get the car fixed and I told their insurance company that $350 is in anywhere near how much is going to cost to fix the car. Then I was told I can go ahead and get the car fixed so I did and it was $6,000 so I called up their insurance company told them that their insurance guy was nowhere near the cost to actually fix the car in that check was very much a waste of my time for me to wait around for him at the house so I changed insurance companies after that
Usually if the trunk has a gap doesn’t close properly, insurance will try there best to write it off… I lost my em1 even I provided the trunk lid.. because they check the milage and year of the car!
Would be easier to see the actual damage by taking the bumper off and checking the crash bar. May just need repairing of the rear body panel and hatch. If the frame bent i would look for the quarters being warped and door gaps being off, maybe even a change in alignment. Also if you have the standard insurance they will only cover oe parts replacement. There is a type of insurance you can get to cover modified parts or parts of higher value but i forgot what its called. Basically you set your own value of the car and the insurance will determine your rate. That damage appears to be fixable assuming the frame is good. Even if the frame is bent it wont be that bad and im sure you can find someone with a frame rack. Sorry to hear about the accident. I just got into an accident with my ej2 and the estimator valued it at $4000 based on prices dealerships have the same car listed for. These cars are getting more rare and increasing in value. Dont let a chassis go to scrap because of minor repairable damage.
Dont give it up yet, sure you put a couple grand into it, you can easily remake that by parting out the integra. Its a good car, buy a shell and swap over parts.
If I were you, I’d get the oem paint matched bumper from your insurance so you have something for the time being. The ings can be repaired believe it or not plus you aren’t sure if you have frame damage. It might look intimidating for someone who doesn’t know about body work but it could be a series for future videos.
Put the jdm front end on the ek and all the suspension parts since they are interchangeable. That would be the cheapest thing but it would suck to see the integra go
Im in the same boat with yall rn, 95 honda civic smacked into my bmw and the dude was trying to pay me on the spot. Like front bumper alone is 800, headlight is 1000, and wheel is 600. waiting on the police report to come in and see what insurance says
build EK with Integra motor start with new shell for new motor tranny set up. Options are endless if you have the new heart waiting to drop in. or get nice daily for work and finish NSX

As a body gut I promise you that car ain't killed rear body panel behind bumper needs pulled and latch adjusted its actually an easy fix if the quarters didn't buckle its fixable

Just because the body panels are tweaked due to impact doesn’t mean it’s frame damage! Very common for panels to move after an accident. Frame damage would mean the frame rails have been damaged. I get trying to get the car totaled out because of not wanting to own a car that’s been in a wreck but these cars are getting harder to find nowadays and totaling one would be taking another off the street
Get it on a jig and pulled. It’s not that bad at all. Worse case it’s a pull and maybe few new panels It’s not that deep it’s saveable but if you can’t be assed just let it go New cars new challenges might be the best thing

You can go to a fram shop but it will cost they have machines that will pull and line everything up with hydraulic presses
