    Another thing not mentioned in the video is the ability to run this gun at full speed and lock it in the on position. Then you just feed screw after screw to the tip and blast them in without needing to touch the trigger. It gives better hand position to drive screws straighter and with more force.

    Great short review . . . Got to the basics quick and no unnecessary excessive information. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was really worried about the depth setting; but, you covered it just enough!

    Good review. Like the fact that you mentioned the depth adjustment learning curve and how the bits are removed for replacement. This is not mentioned in Milwaukee's advertising.

    You wernt holding it properly, you need to put your finger into the groove pointing forwards. This gives accuracy to keep it straight and more force. I use hilti and festool.

    I just bought one and have been using it a couple of days. I'm going to return it. The adjustment for the screw depth is too touchy and the entire adjustable nose pops off way to easily, if you're using two hands to set a screw and move the gun around much, the nose comes off, you have to then try to reset the depth. I'm sure you Pro's will say I just don't know what I'm doing, I've hung thousands of boards with an old school corded gun and never had this kind of issue getting a screw to go in straight. I really wanted to love this gun, but I just can't get it. I have limited range of motion (5 rotator cuff tears) so maybe it's me, but I'm still returning it. It just shouldn't be this touchy.

    Keep in mind amazon isn’t an authorized Milwaukee retailer

    The collated attachment sucks for this the gun is fantastic

    • @mr.wizeguy8995
      @mr.wizeguy8995 7 лет назад

      Why so, it's similar like Dewalt, Hilti, and many others collated attachment.
      I drilled over 4000 screws with collated attachment and didn't have any issues.

    Does the clutch work by pressure from the tip or from torque? If torque, it would drive less deep in a hard spot. If the tip disengages the drive at the set depth, it would sink the same depth even though wood densities vary.
    Can you say which it is?

    Looks like a good screw gun, but not really worth it unless you’re in the business or hanging a whole lot of drywall! Thanks for the review

    If you're going to buy this thing you better already have other Milwaukee tools. There are better drywall guns out there for sure.

      I like the Hilti but hate the Makita, I actually think this one is better than the Makita. I tried the Dewalt, seems pretty nice.

      @@papakernz yep the hilti is quite good. The new makita cordless is good also now they have changed the screw part of the gun. Dewalt cordless is good value for the skin.

    I have this screw gun and would not buy it again. Terrible, why would you put a reverse switch on this type of gun? It will not remove the screw because you have to push on the screw to engage the tip, stupid idea.

      I’m assuming you are talking about when you miss the stud, here’s a pro tip, you put it on reverse, then push inn and down at the same time, that should solve your problem

    • @vojnikjna30
      @vojnikjna30 3 года назад +4

      Almost every single drywall gun has the same forward reverse switch.
