今回の曲は、The Beaties の曲、The long and winding road. 1970年に発表されたアルバム　Let it beに収録されている。ビートルズに関しては有り余るほどの情報が溢れているので説明の必要はないと思います。私の好きなチューリップ財津和夫さんの「青春の影」も、この曲にインスパイアされたと言っています。なんとも言えない郷愁を感じさせるメロディと歌詞。歌っていてもその雰囲気に流されてしまいます。
今回、撮影は友人のミュージシャンの持つスタジオを使わせていただきました。ちょーど良い反響と背景で、物凄く快適に録画が出来ました。環境が良すぎて、随分と楽に歌を歌っているように見えます。
