I once had a musician tell me that if a person can keep double rhythms going (pat your foot and clap your hands alternately, at a moderate pace), then that person should be able to play an instrument and sing at the same time. I tried it and found that I can actually do triple rhythms that way. I astonished myself. The problem is that I don't know how to play any musical instruments, but I now know that I would be able to sing along with my own playing, if I ever learned to play. LOL
Your rendition is one of my favorite covers... so soulful - both your singing and your piano. 2:50 onward... awesome - but I loved the whole cover. Well done!
