I have to say I'm glad I finally have I really dig it ... each one of them are seem to be truly awesome musicians playing multiple instruments.... I'm not sure how big they are from wherever it is they are from ... most bands can't play the way these guys do ... no mikes , no amps , very best to them ... if ever in the states hopfuly they make a stop somewhere near N.Y. state ... upstate .... awesome .....

After many years of hard and bloody searching, he finally arrived at the shores of the sacred lake, shrouded in mist , quiet except for ghostly whispers of the water birds.
Vaguely, oh so vaguely came a darker shade of mist which revealed itself gradually as the prow of a white boat. Now at last was the moment when he would meet the King of Avalon, noble Arthur Pendragon.
At exactly the same moment his heart filled with squirely devotion to his liege and master, deft fingers began to bring forth the voice of the accordion....

I listened to this song shortly after its appearance on RUclips. Still love it and listen regularly. The instruments complement each other so well. In my opinion, this is their best song. Great rendition in bluegrass style.

If you want to support them further, go to a concert of theirs and buy merch, have a chat with them and tell them how much you appreciate their work. Then at home buy their albums.

For what its worth - here is his message from last summer:
      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ladies and gentlemen, A word from Pukki:
It's time to break the news. Some of you know already, most probably don't. I'm quitting touring professionally, which means I have to leave my buddies and let a new guy take it from here. No drama, no burnt bridges. It was a tough decision to make but also necessary; I've got to quit this level of touring to be able to keep playing.
It was a good run and I am going to sorely miss this sooner or later. But it is what it is, time and place for everything and all that.
For now, huge thanks to all of you who came to our shows and watched our stuff online during these past few years! Thank you for making my boyhood dream come true.
Thank you, all the new friends I made!
Thank you, all the hard working professionals that make it possible for us to do our jobs, but who stay in the shadows. I met a lot of you along the way.
Most importantly: thank you, rest of Steve 'n' Seagulls, bandmates who are much more than that. Everything I tried to write here just seemed too lame and distant, and we do come from a culture that tends not to lavish words. I know you know.
As my final post I'd like to present this compilation of totally random photos, along with a special treat as the soundtrack (recorded and mixed by Simo Orpana).
      Näkemiin!

Eneri Giilaan thank you so much, my brother. I just knew there was something special about him, even beyond his playing. He obviously didn’t make his decision, lightly. Years ago, I faced a similar quandary and walked away from the best band-family a guy could ask for. Part of me remained behind and later died with the keyboard player - my best friend. That was big of you to dig that up for me. Peace to you, Eneri. 🙏

Cristal clear sky, yet they cast no shadow... After so many views of this video, it only occurs to me now that it was probably shot at "night" during the northern summer... One of those nights when you catch a glimpse of a clock while having a pleasant evening with friends and a few drinks and realize it's 4am!! Loved those!

    • @timomastosalo
      @timomastosalo 6 лет назад +1

Affirmative. It looks like a Midnight Stay-Out fire in the Finnish midsummer holidays. The days are at their longest then. 1/3 of the Northernmost Finland is in the Arctic Circle, as the sun doesn't actually set at all in the Midsummer, and even the southernmost part of the country has just like an hour of dusk when the sun is just under the horizon.
2 o'clock you'll notice it's getting more bright (because of the summer time clock change, the darkest hour is at 01:00), 3:00 o'clock the sun has risen, birds are waking up. Well, some haven't silenced the whole 'night'.
