Never in my life did I think I would see, hockey, bluegrass, and AC/DC all mixed up. And even if I had thought I would have never imagined that it would kick this much ass!! These guys are awesome!!
The quality of this video is superb. Living way down south below the frostline as I do, I can plainly see that if I ever had to move up north to the land of ice and snow, I would have to learn how to play hockey, and most importantly, how to get down and dirty with acoustic instruments to do proper justice to AC/DC songs. Obviously these are serious and effective survival mechanisms. The recreational activities in the snow also look like fun and giggles.
I cannot recall a single RUclips video that made me so happy,,,you guys are awesome! Especially your AC/DC covers! Geographically opposite and format oppositionally...my good god! You guys are fuggin' brilliant! Got bless you all, and keep up your great work!
I am uncertain as to how Steve`n`Seagulls appeared on my RUclips's recommended things to listen to list, yet I am happy that they did. I love your playing and this vid with its wintry scenes and hockey are a joy to see.
+OldeFreedom Yes many of the Finns settled down in Minnesota Duluth Chicago and New York rest in Canada mostly around Toronto Sudbury and Thunder Bay in north
These guys are excellent musicians and prove that good music does not need expensive clothes, war paintings, exotic tattoos or sexual appeals. Simplicity and excellent music that surrounds and delights the ears. Congratulations.
Matt S Native English speakers just can't be trusted with enunciation. I live between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The language is barely comprehensible here.
A Finnish bluegrass band doing hard rock covers... just when you think there is no awesomeness left in the world something comes along to restore your faith in humanity.
Anyone who has lived in the woods at far northern latitudes can identify with this video. Going from the house to the shed, workshop, or garage to get something without a coat even though the temps are sub zero F. Shoveling snow off of your buildings roofs in just a T shirt because the mid February sun feels like it's 70 F when in actuality it is 25 F. Fur hats, pak boots with wool liners, toasty warm wool clothes, splitting wood, and a fire going in the fireplace, love it.
l just happened to stumble across your videos. I will be highly recommending them. You guys kick ass ! Love the music. And the humor added to the music via the videos is awesome. Great job guys ! Oh and the band name is damn clever.
The more I listen to these guys, the more I love them. Absolutely brilliant. Drifting tractors, wrenches and anvils, a mysterious bass player that lip syncs, but plays with the passion of one possessed. The videos are comic genius, but the music is nothing to laugh at. AC/DC were revolutionary, these guys just take it to a different level. Encore!!
A Finnish bluegrass band covering AC/DC......this is either the most creative thing I've ever come across or someone put LSD in my coffee this morning.
I know they are not 'hillbillies' they are very skilled musicians with a sense of humour, Finns and Canadians have a lot in common, hope Steve N Seagulls come to Ottawa some day, let me know, I'll set it up.
Oh, don't worry. They're hillbillies. They got hills in Finland. And these boys own'em. We got hills in upcountry Thailand too. Here it's called "Issan" or Northeastern music. Because that's where our hills and hill-people are. Am originally from Kentucky, so I know what I'm talking about. This shit's universal, my brethren.
This feels so Eastern Canadian!!. If i did not know any better I would swear you guys are from Cape Breton Nova Scotia. When you touring here anyway? :)
if you lived at countryside in finland and your family had a oldass tractor i bet u know what was the best thing to do on a wintery friday night lmao, tractor cruising and drifting!
All I see is talent. And handsome hard working men. I don't care where they come from. Just keep rockin the house and come back to USA for another tour.
I am a big fan of AC / DC. I am impressed with this country cover. It was done with self-mockery, the subject is mastered, the sound is good. Very good band.
You guys are just phantastic, thanks for all those wonderful versions! I play Thunderstruck to all my students to show them what "covering a song" can mean. (Along with "With a little help from my friends" from Joe Cocker, so you are in good company) One thing though: to me, the raw sound of the, for example, Trooper or Thunderstruck recordings, suits you better than this clean stuff. But no matter what sound: keep it up!
ok. I have been an ac dc fan for 40 years and always hated to hear people trying to cover their music. but wow. you made it your own by doing it in your own style. great job.
Good! I like your covers! I really don't undestand how you don't feel cold...the guys are without t-shirt...ON THE SNOW! D= (I am brazilian, so...) ahhahahahahahahahha
+Bruna Gomes I don't know in what State you live, but we (yes, I'm brazilian too) probably cannot survive in this cold. By the other hand, imagine a finnish trying to live in Fortaleza.
Fantastic musicians with a touch of hillbilly deluxe, thought you boys were Canadian at first, that tractor sure is. Very well shot video. You guys should come and play the festivals in Ottawa next summer. You will be a hit! Good luck
Technically being from a mountainous region of the USA, living there and just generally having that specific style of life is enough to be considered a hillbilly. It doesnt have to be a derogatory term, its just that it most often is. Considering they are from Finland, they technically cant be hillbillies, altough going by this video its not unfair to call them that, in a good way, not the derogatory way. Its not stereotype if its true.
What ? I live in countryside and it's very rare for me to compete against the finnish feminine national hockey team and becoming The Holy God of Banjo ! Where do *you* live ?
Dang! I saw your Thunderstuck video and thought you were south USA. Then I saw here you guys lacing up the skates! Sorry for misconception. Keep jamming and blasting slap shots!
Never in my life did I think I would see, hockey, bluegrass, and AC/DC all mixed up. And even if I had thought I would have never imagined that it would kick this much ass!! These guys are awesome!!
Yeah, these guys sure kick ass and get their asses kicked!
You forgot tractor donuts
And an awesomely punning band name
Yes, nothing you would expect, and everything you love.
Only in Finland! 😁
holy shite!? a Finnish band playing American style bluegrass/country cover of an Australian hard rock band’s famous song?! I love it! I love it!
Ваши клипы возвращают в безумное и веселое детство. Спасибо
I love these guys....actually thought they were from Alabama or Georgia...was shocked to see they are Fins. Cheers to my Nortic brothers.
Finnish brothers!😜
My apologies...they are Nordic✌😀👍

It is July 27th, 2024. I just discovered this video. This was the mashup I didn't know I needed. My life is complete now. Thank you.
I second that!
Great feast from Serbia! A lot of fans from this small country await your concert!

Patrick Kitts Well, if you ever find yourself in Finland, I think we could get you in a hockey game! :)
That is an interesting way to put things, and you wouldn't be wrong.

Thanks to these guys, now I understand the lyrics to these songs.
Are you serious? You don't understand AC/DC?

I'm NOT English.I speak it though.I'm scottish.i didn't mean to be presumptuous.I suppose I'm biased as they were scottish.lol.
+Elaine Cochrane They're actually Australian
+TheMechanic NZ No, they are from Scotland originally. Malcolm and Angus (and Bon Scott) that is.
It's impossible to be in a crappy mood after watching one of your videos guys!

This is by far the best video these GOTS have done. And there are so many to choose from them. Thank you so very much for being great!
as usual, a smile is stuck to my face after watching this. thanks
One of the funnest videos I've seen. Great fun and great music!
After listening to this song for 30 years I can finally understand the lyrics!!
Matt S Native English speakers just can't be trusted with enunciation. I live between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The language is barely comprehensible here.
Brian Johnson sang this song and he is Scottish, thats why you can't understand the lyrics.
