      I will try to add it in the comparison but bottom line is that i really love the R12. Was almost considering copying it s geometry for my custom titanium build. I only decided against it to be able to better compare steel to titanium ride feel so thats why i went for the Standert geo.

    Can you get feedback from Winspace on why the size medium has a different tire clearance than the other sizes (28mm vs 32mm for the other sizes). Online a customer service rep on the chat speculated that it might be because size medium is from older molds compared to the rest. That is hard to believe that a reputable brand would sell bikes from an older mold/design compared to the fi nal finished design. If you look at their geometry charts, the size medium looks like an odd outlier as it doesn't exactly follow the progression in various measures like chainstay from size to size.

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  8 месяцев назад +1

      Good point. Let me ask. They might be on Chinese New Year holidays already so might take a moment to hear back.

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  8 месяцев назад +2

      Let me share the quote i got from Winspace which they allowed me to share here:
      "Our Agile model underwent 8 versions during its development. The medium size you're looking at uses the 7th version of the mold, which has been thoroughly road-tested without any issues. This doesn't mean that the current medium-size frame is 'defective' or 'less perfected.' It's just that our designers made some minor geometric adjustments in the final stages. They aimed to avoid excessive sensitivity in handling. In fact, professional cyclists who tested our seventh version found its handling to be quite impressive. The decision to increase tire clearance was made very late in the development process, so apart from that, the differences are minimal. Essentially, the handling of the seventh version might be perceived as more responsive."
      Hope this helps. If the tire spacing is so essential for you, it might make sense to wait a bit as i think chances are high that they will update that clearance at some point. But as i m not really riding wider tires than 28mm that would not be an issue for me.

      It is a beautiful frame. And build up it looks even better. It is only cheap when you compare it to a Specialized, BMC or any other major brand. I am really puzzled..the Agile frame is the same weight of the T1550 (size L, painted, reported at 1050g), fork and seatpost are heavier than T1550..why is the frame advertised as lightweight and aero? what is the gain with respect to the T1550? I think Winspace did not hit the mark this time....

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  8 месяцев назад +1

      Valid point. I actually wasnt aware that the T1550 has a similar weight. I have now looked at the geo side by side it seems that the Agile is a bit less aggressive and therefore more suitable for a bigger target group of potentially first time road riders. I assume that for that slightly more relaxed geometry it might also be a bit more comfortable on longer climbs.

    • @io8787
      @io8787 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@klein-concept the Agile also fits up to 32mm tires while the T1550 is limited to 28mm..I am not convinced yet that we really need to go that wide but I agree that it goes in the direction of confort
      the other difference between the two models is the carbon fibers used but I am heavily skeptical it is something that the end user will perceive
      all in all, I think I was expecting something much lighter, an all rounder sitting between the SLC and T1550..I was looking for a "more aero" bike to build and I was planning to go for the Agile but I am now convinced to go for the T1550

    • @klein-concept
      @klein-concept  8 месяцев назад +2

      Hey, just to say first, i dont see a reason to start calling this BS. You always have the option to not watch the video. I m putting effort into this and share whatever bikes, tech or frames i have access to. Thats all i can do. So there was either this unboxing or purely no unboxing of the Agile.
      But anyways of course i can not say if this is a specially prepared frame or just a random one out of the production line. But recently there has been a video by Cam Nicholls who also got a frame for review by another brand and it was obviously not in perfect condition. So one could really argue about if these companies really put that extra effort into review units.
      During my day job i work in music hardware production and manufacturing and when I send out units for review i just get random units picked from the warehouse as all of them are the same quality. Having special review units would just create too much overhead and effort.
