I own an 06 brazen metallic orange GTO ls2 and I love it I have at least 12 people who want to buy it off me and it the only one in the state of NH in this color scheme there were 171 made in this color and last time I checked there was only 58 registered on the road

I got a gto
I’m about to hop on the lsa train. Right now I just have basic bolt-ons with nitrous (150 shot) but I’m getting the stuff together for the lsa. But mines an A4 so I had to ditch the 4l60 and swapped to the 4l80.
How hard was it to swap to a 4L80?
Do it man! The lsa is awesome and very streetable

Like the blackout on your GTO but IMO it's way to much black. Needs some more, chrome or other color hardware, for contrast, IMO.
No dislike or negative, because it is all personal preference, but I just think some contrast in the colors would look so much more killer!

Man trey run slicks cause drag radials are hard on a car slicks gives a little (wrinkles)

Try to get a set old slicks from a local racer. Would help in your quest for 10s
I think you could do it with that set up. I assume track in your area adjust the time for elevation?
MBL Bob no sir I have to run a true 10 in my area to be satisfied lol. I’m gonna talk to a few people to get a slick or radial for the car and go from there

Pump gas or e85? Any concerns with the rings? I'm researching how reliable they can be stock with boost if you beat on them. I'm scared to push 600 on an ls2 or 500 on an ls1, because I dont plan on being nice to it all its life or running methanol, just e85.
Hey Trey, beautiful goat, i currently have an 05 GTO yellow bee bought in 2009 living in colorado spring. Completely stock right now but major changes coming. I hear you saying you have an LSA GTO, but am curious what brings you to that conclusion. I have watched all of you previous vids and on one of them stated you havent done anything to the lower end. Again great work on keeping these beast on the road

Thats a nice setup Trey. Got a question of my own. You could answer it here or on a next video or something. So, just bought some wheels and rims for my GTO and they are 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. I am wanting to also lower my ride from the stock. Would be going about .5" to 1" lower be alright with this tire setup or is that too much? Havent lowered a ride before so i was hoping you would be able to answer this question.
Was all this done with a stock bottom end?
That car is gonna be WILD with an aluminum or carbon driveshaft. Those rear tires will HATE you. Lol

What’s the wheels and tire set up
Build up that bottom end (forged stroker kit/supercharger cam) to get more boost out of that lsa blower + more low end torque
Casino 88 gonna send it stock bottom for a while. E85 + 10% overdrive pulley
Do you have to do any welding with the OBX headers, or do they just bolt right up like the Kooks headers?

@@TreyHerrera Nice! Generally with cheaper headers like Pacesetters you have to weld on the brackets. Kooks are just too damn expensive. lol
@@TreyHerrera Did you have to drop the steering rack to put them in?
DaltonThomas never seen anyone weld on pacesetters/obx/tsp or any of the lower priced headers. I unbolted the rack yes and moved it. Other then that the install is easy.
@@TreyHerrera Ah my buddy told me I'd probably have to weld the brackets on for the mid-pipes. That makes it easy, thanks!
Damnn cant decided which car I wanna get Pontiac Gto RWD or Jeep Srt8 AWD 2006-2008 but I like more SRT8 cause it's AWD.. Kind of hard decision lol.. Whatcha guys think????? please help lol. What Part of Colorado????

How do prevent the wheel hop issues?

Replace one of the half shafts with a larger diameter shaft. You won't get oscillation anymore. Wheel hop gone.
Sorry to ask one more question lol but did you or do you plan on upgrading the Pistons and crank? Or do the factory ones handle the lsa pretty good? Thank you Soo much for your time and answering my questions.
Wil Golnick stock bottom end is very strong, I’m on a complete stock bottom end. The weak point on the ls2 is pistons, so eventually I’ll be putting a forged piston in it prob after this year just so I can push the engine a bit further. With a good safe tune it and proper oiling it will handle the lsa just fine reliably

I got 19x8.5 C7 rims with 265 30 19 rear 235 35 19 front comp cam 102 fast intake 102 throttle body obx long tude slp loudmouth and tuned for 91 aluminum radiator i have a set of 285 35 19 nitto NT01 for sale i paid 803.47 for them if you know anyone that can use them they rub on my car when putting down the power and id like to mert up show you mine
