I've had a box of orzo sitting in my cabinet for the last 6 months or more. Now I finally know what to do with it!

Hi guys. I told you I would let you know how the orzo turned out…it was amazing!!!! We have leftovers for tonight! Yeah!🥳 seriously it was fantastic. My husband was actually able to get the exact brand of orzo that you guys got so it was a spot on as it could be. Thanks for sharing the recipe.! Hi Cindy! We’re so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for letting us know! Enjoy your Sunday!
That's great Cindy
Hi Chef and Papi P. I made this dish today. I used one can of Cento tomatoes, one cup of ORZO and I cut the other ingredients by one-forth of your recipe. I followed the video step by step and the ORZO came out delicious! Afterwards I ate a piece (or two) of the Key Lime Pie you showed us how to make (I made the pie yesterday). Thanks for inviting me into your kitchen. God bless.
Thanks Heath for letting us know!Glad you enjoyed the recipes!

Yes I could go for some. It looks delicious!
Thanks Chris!
Great recipe thanks for sharing. I agree 100% with meat = gravy, no meat = sauce. Often you mention "Daddy Jacks" Did you know a Daddy Jack Chaplin? He once had a restaurant in Dallas.
Thanks Richard! Yes, Dom was Jack’s partner at their Ft Worth location for over 20 years.
We are making this tonight for dinner. My husband made the sauce last night and I’m making the magic happen tonight! I can’t wait to try this! I’ll let you know how it turns out. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
That’s great! Enjoy!
This looks delicious. I am making this tomorrow. You guys are great cooks. So glad I found your videos.

Looks delicious. Note to self - eat it with a spoon. Be well!!!
Thanks Rob!
Every time I say, I’m not going to see if they posted a new video, I cave. OMG, I can’t with you guys. My family is still talking about that chicken cacciatore!! The weekends have become Brooklyn Brothers test kitchen. I lived in Philly for 18 years. My son spent weekends at his classmates house. ( South Philly) Grandma did all the cooking. It was called Sunday Gravy in their home!! Saturday will be this recipe. Mama, make them stop!! I can’t go back to 325. ♥️
Thanks Patty! Spoiler Alert! Today we will be publishing our Stuffed Shell video.
Heading to the market, might as well get my supplies!! Y’all ain’t about to put them pounds back on me. No sir!! But I’m hooked!! 😂😂😂😂
You know Italian food is so good when a "quick recipe" takes over three hours to prepare. I enjoy making these recipes on the weekend when I have nothing else going on and can take as long as I need. Only problem is I wind up about half crocked from the Chianti by the time it's done.
😂😂
Wow I want some please 👏👏
Dish is MINT! Never Ever made Baked Orzo always mostly Italian Soups etc. Great Recipe as always guys 👍💪🤝🤝🤝

Great recipe! I can’t wait to try it. Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️
Thanks Janice!
I am running to the supermarket to buy orzo, making it as soon as possible looks absolutely delicious! Thank you for another great recipe.
Thanks Angela! Enjoy!
Ok I was drooling watching this! I recently did similar with ditalini, and I make my sauce almost the exact same way! I would love to see your spin on pastina, that's my comfort food from childhood, and we make once a week still!
Love Ditalini!
Hay it’s not fair to Tess us when we don’t have smell a vision guys lol 😆, Sharon 😋🙋🏻♀️
Lmao
1 tip if you do not know - reason we used crushed tomato - puree and sauce and not straight up whole plumb tomato is because unless your doing a chunky sauce by not blending the tomatoes putting tomatoes into a blender turns them orange color and less full red why because the mixer oxyenates the tomatoes - We Love RED SAUCE/GRAVY Also RAGU!
This recipe is to die for ❤️❤️❤️❤️Looks so delicious !!!
Thanks 😊
Heaven ! 🥂
Going to try this one, maybe with some sweet sausage.
Sounds great!
Looks amazing
Thanks!
We are going live this Sunday, May 19 at noon central time!
Always great to see mom! This is a tremendous recipe. It's entirely KOSHER. Bless you guys! I am making this for Shabbat dinner this weekend! Thanks a bunch!
That’s great! Thanks!
Great. Thx
🇺🇸🌀
You bet!
Id be drinking that with a straw!!... and or a cold beer or a glass of wine!
😊👍
Beautiful! Orzo, not just for soups! On a side note, how the heck is Dom carrying hot pots and pans without oven mits?
Lol
Never heard of orzo al forno but now I know what to do with those bags of orzo in the pantry. Definitely going to make it and maybe add tiny meatballs into it too like we do with other baked macaroni. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thanks CB! Meatballs would work great!
Thank you so much for watching
Love you guys - iwas born in Flushing Queens mia familia on 1 side from Sicilia the other side Harlem NYC all italian - this is alot like Nonna's Recipe but she did 1 can sauce - 1 can crushed - 1 can Puree "Red Pack" brand Tomatoes - they were good a while ago now the quality is not there CENTO Tomatoes from Italia in Yellow Can are the best at regular markets and Walmart.
Thanks Buddy! That a great sauce combination. Will need to try.
@@BrooklynBrothersCooking Let me know how you like the mix of the 3. Also do you ever add sugar or hit the onions and garlic with red or white wine? I usually do when doing a quick sauce.
this is one recipe I've never heard of!
It's so good!
T H E B E S T !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome. My mother in law used to do rice this way for carnival. The sauce gravy thing is regional, i believe. Something made with bones they say is gravy. That said....
Its sauce, always. Lol
I have years in my eyes
😊❤
I want to live next door to you guys and you send me all leftovers!
Absolutely 😊
Great recipes, you and Dom work really well together. When you roll solo, I go to a different recipe. You need to liven it up. I can get boring videos anywhere
Thanks for the tips!
WHERE Is the recipe??? Looks so good
Hi Liz! Here is the link: www.brooklynbrotherscooking.com/pasta/baked-orzo
Gravey - sauce w meat.
Hi. Can I make this the night before and bake it the next morning? I want to make it for a church potluck but I'm worried that the orzo will soak up too much sauce overnight. Thanks.
Yes, but add a little extra sauce
Thank you so much for your quick response. My husband and I love watching you guys and plan to try a lot of dishes!
Do you at sugar to cut the acid of tomatoes?
Yes
I think it needs mushrooms and meat.
Way too much garlic, it overpowers the sauce, all you taste is the garlic. In Italy, they do not use that much garlic.
Perhaps, some folks in Italy don’t use much garlic, but with our recipe, the garlic is not overpowering. You should give it a try.
Real Italians cook with lots of garlic
Wow!! Ya are amazing. You are my go to for Italian recipes and. I share your page (reluctance) w my friends. Jk. Lol question. What is your favorite (s) Italian restaurant (s) in New York? Thank you! @LadyLizBk (Brooklynite)
Thanks for the compliment and sharing! Patrizios is great.
