I think it still is weighted, but it's just that it's really hard for weighted clothing to slow down someone who's God Tier, unless Whis makes them with the same stuff those fat suits were made out of when they met Champa.
But, then again, Toryiama (probably spelled that wrong) is rather forgetful, so that might've been ret-coned (pretty sure I also spelled that incorrectly) accidentally.
Hmmm. Yeah, unless it's made of the same material, the clothing would have no effect on him and would be the same as wearing regular clothes.
So, technically, he's wrong, and either completely forgot that it was weighted, or hasn't seen the show (most likely forgot, since I sometimes forget about that

Learn the meaning of nude. It means totally exposed or not not wearing anything. Even if Goku and Vegeta go shirtless, they still have their pants. They aren't completely nude. Just like Geekdom said, that meme is completely trash. When killing Buu, Goku still had his blue undershirt,so nudity didn't killed Buu. During the U6vsU7, match Goku had his shirt on along with Future Trunks arc. The thing is these memes only sound funny but these memes don't make sense. I guess thats why we call it memes becoz they are bullshit.

Dragon ball was a series about adventure and martial arts that gained people’s attention thanks to great fight scenes, high stakes and likable characters. Saying there is no story shows you no nothing about story and if you’re saying something like that, then why are you even on a dragon ball channel watching a dragon ball video?

#20: That animation is really horrible. I know that the movie was rushed with a lot of young writers but that still doesn't excuse the bad animation. You could rush a DBZ episode and it would still look 10x better than episode 5.
#19: I don't really know how I feel about this one because it's not really making fun of anything. I also disagree with him on anime and cartoon. There's shit in anime that you will NEVER see in a cartoon and the tensions and gore in an anime far surpasses that of a cartoon. Compare any anime to the freaking PowerPuff Girls for crying out loud. Anime and cartoon are two completely different things. Just like Family Guy is to Regular Show.
#18: Technically Goku without his shirt DOES make him stronger because it's weighted. Also, when WAS the last time you saw Goku lose a fight with his shirt off? Every time his shirt goes off he gets serious and ends up winning all of his fights despite the power differential (cough cough OG Broly vs Goku). The person who made that meme was right. Geekdom is just salty.
#17: He's right on this one. The DBZ movie Fusion Reborn had a great budget and months of animation while episode 5 of DBS was just an episode and not a movie including the fact that it was rushed with young animators. However, Dragon Ball did take a downgrade in animation in general.

The "topless power up" is a well established trope in anime, whenever a muscular protagonist syarts to get serious his shirt comes off, the most egregious examples are Kenshiro from FotNS, who ripped his vest in almost every episode, and Shiryu from Saint Seiya, who actually wears a mythical protective armor but nonetheless takes it off when he's about to perform his strongest attack, despite the obvious huge disadvantage in doing so. In comparison Goku is much more modest he doesn't go shirtless until the final fight with the main villain of the arc, and often he doesn't just take his shirt off, it just gets disintegrated by the enemy's attacks.
Huh. Crazy to think then how One Piece seems 90% immune to the trope.

Geekdom even just said Dragon Ball is for children. Like from what source? Because apparently he doesn’t know what a Shonen conformed demographic is. The ages range of Shonen are boys ages 12 to 18 years. That’s teenage boys. And several credible sources including guide books from here and Japan all day the same thing. In fact the Shueisha guide book states Shonen Jump is for young teenage boys. And has been since 1969.
I mean yes kids in Japan may have watched Dragon Ball but that doesn’t make the show for kids. It just means they like it. It’s like saying kids watching Terminator makes the film a kids movie. Hell no! LMAO

Trophy Icf the decision of the creators having different writers for almost every episode is what ruined the series in the first place. The only one I feel gets a tiny-pass is the Krillin meme. Basically, the Joke was that since Yamcha accidentally pissed Beerus off with the playful slap, Krillin saved their asses for the moment with the Takoyaki.

That doesn't make you stronger. It makes you faster. Speed and strength is 2 different things. The weighted clothing never gave them actual power boosts. It just took their power and added their unrestricted speed to it. Making them hit faster and be harder to hit in return.

The meme about Krillin saving the world from Beerus does make sense. It's referring to before Beerus got mad and demanded the super saiyan god. The meme is talking about when Yamcha playfully slapped Beerus, but Krillin stopped Beerus from getting mad by giving him food. Krillin did save the planet there, just very temporarily. I'm not questioning you on how terrible this article is, but you did mess up at this part.
