i guess Im asking randomly but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me
@Lincoln Francisco I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I'm so surprised that you don't have more visibility. You really are an incredible teacher. Thank you so much for making this. Maybe invest in a couple of Google ads because you really do have the content. Amazing, amazing, amazing.
Thanks, dude! Yeah, I’ve been trying that out myself! Been experimenting a lot and trying to find a workflow I can recommend to others. I also want to create a tutorial on how to simulate clothing, then attach that mesh onto a rig and pose the character. Never done anything like that before, so it’s taking me a bit of time to figure it all out. 😁
POLYCOSM agreed! making cloth can be so fiddly , it seems that apart from Marvellous Designer it’s never straightforward. I might have a got at Houdini (I’m that desperate 🤣).
can u animate the cloth? say, if u wanted to add a hook to a vertex group and move the hook so it pulls the cloth away? I figured out how to hook the cloth, but when I animated it, instead of pulling the cloth it stretches it and collisions stop working like they're supposed to
Hi, have you had some time to compare this tool to Garment Tool? I purchased Garment Tool for a couple of months but as a beginner in blender I still feel like it's not a tool I can make so much use of yet, this one seems to be more user friendly, specially for beginners, would you say it is so? would you recommend getting Simply Cloth when I already have Garment Tool?
Hiya! Yes, I’ve tried both and I keep going back to Simply Cloth, especially with the new features (you now have a template library that is brilliant!). I still use Garment Tool, but never for the cloth simulation itself. I mainly use it to make the cloth pieces themselves with curves, convert them to actual geometry using GT, and when it’s time for simulation, I switch over to Simply Cloth. That process is explained in this video at 7.23: ruclips.net/video/8Kn_D1gW4wQ/видео.html So, I do use both, but for different reasons. Creating the sewing pattern is so easy in Garment Tool, but the simulation part sucks and is slow, so I just use Simply Cloth for that. Hope that helps! ☺️
please check the face orientation of you mesh...blue (front)- red (back) ....this should be flipped to be right way....after correction pressure will work correctly :)
yes, if you are happy with the cloth settings after testing, just hit "Apply Modifier only"....this will only apply all modifier in Cloth and you can work as cloth object for animations and adjust the quality settings of cloth and collision :)
Absolutely! If you’re making clothing for example, you can either hit «Apply» to apply all modifiers, making it a static mesh which you can then bind to a rig by selecting both and pressing ctrl+P and then choosing to parent them with weights (although with loose fabric, you won’t really get super good effects unless your rig is made to take that mesh into account). Or you can simulate the cloth animation WHILE an animation is playing (for example with a rigged human model), which is a video I’ll be making in a couple of weeks. That way you get more accurate folds which you can polish further afterwards, but it requires a lot of your PC, and Blender isn’t super optimized for that kind of workflow. (At least to the best of my knowledge, as I’m very new to Blender simulation.) Hope that helps! If not, I’m happy to answer any question you have, Paul. ☺️
POLYCOSM thanks!! I just bought it and honestly wait to use it. But yes, PLEASE do a video showing how you would animate it. My only concern is if I’ll be able to bake the simulation into key frames afterwards. This allows me to do simulations in passes without killing my computer. Would you know anything about that?
Hmm, I have no idea actually. I’m a 2D still image artist, so I wouldn’t know where to start with baking animations like that. Vjaceslav, do you have any suggestion on this? (He’s the developer of the amazing add-on btw 😁)
Ah, shoot, I used to know this. I think the biggest difference is that the Pro comes with the Template Library and Pinning System/Live Paint, Pressure, Strengthen By Selection, Simply Sewing, Sculpt Mode Button (transition), etc. I would honestly get the pro version! It’s soooo worth it!
Im confused how to actually get the mesh to stop simming and put it on my figure. I want to animate a block going through it but how do i "finalize" the sim??
You bake the simulation under the physics menu, if I’m not mistaken 😊 Just google «Baking Physics Animation in Blender» and you should get some good answers/tutorials ☺️
after messing with marvelous and having the cloth only fly off on my importeded models for days with no videos helping fix the problem ill try this lol...
@@POLYCOSM thank you for quick respond. Basically I have character with dress imported from Daz to Blender. But when I trying apply Simple Cloth to my dress on my character I have some strange results. Did I have to make new dress each time?? How we can use this plugin on ready made dresses?
Hmm, the clothing coming from DAZ might not be optimized in terms of topology and suitable for Simply Cloth. However, how about you try remeshing the clothing first before applying the add-on’s cloth simulation? By remeshing you’re essentially turning the topology into something Blender can work with, just make sure you don’t remesh with too high of a poly-count, or SimplyCloth will be super laggy, and you might crash Blender in the process.
@@POLYCOSM Thank you. I will try this evening and let you know. I think lots of ppl struggle with same problem. Is no point to loose time on designing dresses when you have them ready in Daz.

@Lincoln Francisco it worked and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D

Aw, what a wonderful comment!! You’ve totally made my entire week, thank you 🥹
Talented artist, amazing teacher, and a voice that makes me smile each time.
Aw, you’re too sweet Kent!
Very informative, and charmingly delivered. A pleasure to listen to and learn from.
Aww, thanks Jeremy! 😄☺️
Isn't he..."marvelous?"
Great video! Very usefull.
Haha, thanks Pablo! Glad you found it useful 😄
Excellent 👍 looking forward to the garment tutorial. Apparently combining it with simply cloth is a super effective way to do clothing.

Greatly structured and informative, thanks!
Thank you so much. A must watch for a much have add-on.
Aww, thanks Chad! :’D
thanks for sharing.
Needed these tips thank you
You mood is as great as your tutorial :) Thanks for sharing so cool :D
Hello, I just discovered your channel, you're great!!!
Do you have a tutorial on how to create dynamic hair (movement or wind effect etc)? Thank you!
Honestly I just love the voice…
And the video, obviously…
Hahaha, thanks Umar 🤣
Awesome tutorial!
Thanks, Alex! 😄
Great tutorial. Thanks.
Great video!!thank you.
You’re most welcome! 😄

That’s odd! I’m not very well versed with animations and collisions, so I don’t believe I can be of much help, sorry!
Love your energy. Keep it up
that logo jingle sounds awfully familiar 🤔
Amazing!
Thanks, Suu Suu! ☺️

@@POLYCOSM oh yeah, that helps a lot, thanks for the fast answer and feedback and of course for your great videos too :)
No problem, happy to help! 😄
Thanks a lot! P.S. your voice sounds like Shadow from Bear In The Big Blue House lmao
I'll say turn gravity off for pressure work as it tends to go in the wrong direction !
Ahhh, so that’s what’s happening! I did run into that issue a lot. Thanks for letting me know! 😄
please check the face orientation of you mesh...blue (front)- red (back) ....this should be flipped to be right way....after correction pressure will work correctly :)
Can i Apply these settings on like an downloaded model like from sketchfab ?
How would you get it back to daz to pose? If you could answer that or make a video I’d be so grateful 🙏🏽
Neat ! ☺️Thank You !
I would like to see how you "polish this in sculpt mode later on". Thank you.
how can I animate zipper open animation ?
I noticed you don't have the library on your addon either. I paid for a library but it doesn't show up on mine. Any idea why?
so, i can transform into cloth anything i want??
Basically yes, as long as the geometry is clean and you aren’t using super dense meshes!
When will you update it for 2.83?
Not sure what you mean, Alex? I work with version 2.9. ☺️
does this work with blender 2.8?
Yes, it should. 😊
Does this also work for animation? If so, how exactly would I implement this into my workflow?

@@POLYCOSM you can bake the cache and it will work well, but frame by frame I have to check by my self.
theres two versions one cost 19 the other is 33 do you know what the difference is between these two? thanks!

How to apply this to imported dress and character from Daz ??
How to apply Simply Cloth physics add-on from DAZ-imported clothing? Choose the Garment and press «Create Cloth»...?
