I loved the art prints and stickers I got from your booth, I was pretty early on Saturday but I wished I would’ve come back to buy more. I def agree, AX chibi attendees were…different. First and last AX chibi for me lmao. Hope you have a booth at AX!
Omg thank you so much for supporting! I’m also relieved I’m not the only one who had interesting interactions 😅 Definitely the most strange conversations I’ve had at one event….!
Duuude I love the way you did this vlog💕 definitely makes me inspired to do my own! That guy who randomly insulted your art, man I would have gave the nastiest side eye😒 one time at anime Las Vegas this guy came up to my booth and was like “I’m not going to buy this print bc Bart gives me ptsd” like okay? Tf am I supposed to do with that info? Like keep it to yourself?? Then a few minutes later i saw him pay a cosplayer to step on him near my booth. I’ve learned to just ignore the opinions of weirdos at cons lmao
Aww TYSM friend! Your support is so appreciated 🙏🏽 As for that weirdo at your con, people are allowed to spend on whatever they want-getting stepped on included-but we’re also allowed to judge them for their weird decisions and I’m judging hardcore lol
omg randomly found your video and love how real you are about your experience! i also tabled at chibi and felt the same about it HAHA the crowd was DEFINITELY weirder than usual. and the sales sucked for me too lol. manifesting a lot of sales for u at other cons!
Aww thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Yes, hopefully future conventions for us include more sales and fewer weirdos 😅
Portos pastries are very addictive. In my head potato balls are almost a schedule I drug. Very addictive.
I wished I lived closer so I can get daily doses LOL
Portos, I absolutely love them. I moved out of state in the summer and miss them soooo much.
THEY’RE SO FREAKING GOOD
U got a Marco the phoenix figure niiiiice🔥🔥
My friend told his real name but all I can remember is “Pineapple Head” 💀
omggg those cheese balls look yum! i liked the idea u treated it as a vacation XD! i wish i explored more i didnt even know they had more food!
It’s hard to get away from our tables sometimes! Hopefully you get more down time next time!
Perhaps AX chose Ontario because there's an international/domestic airport there? I know . . . Ontario is too far for me coming from DTLA.
Maybe, that would make sense. But yeah, it seemed inconvenient even for SoCal locals.
omggg i loved your video and oh my god your sailor moon phone case is so gorgeous !! 🌸
TYSM I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! As for my case I love it too but’s falling apart 😅 time to get a new one!
Omg I have a Shibs named Evie too ☺️☺️ sheddy girlys for sure
Omg yay! Shiba squad 🐕
You should make what that guy said into a sticker 😂 (For weird encounter #1)
LOL and then it becomes my best seller 💀
I did AX chibi last year, it's inaugural year. I did.. meh. It was mid. I also caught a cold due to the tent and coldness. >.< But I did reapply this year cuz why not, give it another shot, and didn't get in. I was sad. I did it first year, but didn't this year. (and got called literally week prior that a BOOTH was open, but that was $800+ and I just couldn't swing that so last minute.) I would say unless local, avoid AX chibi until they can figure it out. It's only 2 days, and artists are stuck outside in a weird tent, versus inside, which is odd cuz like, they can fit artists. It was the old center for ALA, and they fit everyone in it before.
Just too many artists/vendors. So money doesn't get spread well enough. And its way too pricy.
Totally agree with all your points!
Ok I Love Your Art And That One Piece Character Name Is Marco!^^ The One You Didn't Know, Oh! One Time At A Con I Was Selling My "Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Art And Keychain's Some Random Lady Came Up To My Booth And Said "Your Art Is Really Bad And Leo Is Bad" I'm Here Like "Well That's Your Opinion Lady So Move On If Your Not Buying Anything"
So Yeah Don't Let Anyone Bring You Down On Your Art!
Good to know his name! My friend told me Pineapple Head and that’s all I remembered LOL. As for that lady, she sucks.
I think that weird encounter with the guy who said he liked your stuff but want his style was not meant as a criticism. A lot of people who go to anime conventions are kinda awkward. I took it as he liked your art, felt weird/bad about standing at your booth and not buying anything so he wanted to give you a compliment and explain why he wasn’t buying anything.
That makes sense! I agree, I notice some people are unskilled at social interactions at conventions. I'll definitely learn to give more grace in the future (but probably still mention it in vlogs for content's sake lol).
the weird encounter at 13:20 just had to let you know for some reason? NO ONE ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION BRO MOVE ONNNNN
No for real like why. It’s fine to have opinions but like I didn’t ask lol.
