Welcome to this in depth demo and review of the Henry Amplification ODLX! This is an amazing handmade amplifier from New Jersey, inspired by the legendary D style amps. What do you think? Using a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, as well as a Lovepedal Gen5 Echo.
This review was part of a broader sponsorship with Henry Amps, however, all opinions stated were entirely of my own volition.

You shooooore can play! Hot damn! I'm really getting interested in getting a Henry and you've definitely moved the needle even further for me. Well done.
Love the circuit architecture on that model of Henry.
The Harmonic Control is very useful in shaping the character or mood of this amp.
I also think this is great in its combo configuration.
Great Review, Thank You.
That reverb really lets the nuances shine through.
Yeah the reverb is superb on this amp. One of my favorites - and thats coming from a pretty dedicated Super Reverb player.
Great rundown as always Jack!!!! Cheers
Gee weeds, I luv that Deluxe...hope it ain't too heavy
Great video Jack, and the amp sounded awesome clean and driven. If I was in the money I would be sorely tempted. How do you think it compares to the VHT "D" type ?
I love red. Sold
thanks Jack, thanks a lot. just when I think I've got my "GAS" under control I see this ... lol
Perfect!
Do you like this more than the 45+? As I am learning more I've come to realise that I actually prefer Marshall cleans to Fender clean sounds. Blasphemy maybe but you like what you like I guess. I was thinking of buying a Henry Amp to replace my absolutely atrocious Fender Supersonic (high noise floor makes the amp completely unworkable) and I was thinking 45+.
I personally preferred this one, but they’re both great amps. The one I actually bought for myself is the SRT
@@JackFossett Thanks. I meant to say Really love your channel by the way. I don't even play guitar that much. I'm an electronic music producer. That said I really like playing guitar. It's something different, blow off some steam etc etc. It's really fun. And I am a competent guitar player. This amp sounds fantastic to me. It's a difficult choice. You're right it does have a kind of marshall sound on the overdrive channel. I've never heard the SRT. Why that one if you don't mind me asking? What's it based on?
I mean, he’s passed now, I think we can say his name when talking about amp clones… oh, I see. Thought this was a new video.
