Most overhyped: Gaslamp Quarter. Crowded, no parking, lots of weird people down there. We always avoid it. If I want a nice restaurant, I have so many better options around town.
❤love this video….laughed so much about the critique of the county fair, thanks for the warning! My only experience with the fair is getting tied up in the traffic nightmare for the month it’s going on, I completely agree with you guys!
#1 - For people that are interested in the county fair, Costco has the best ticket deal. It comes with 4 tickets, a parking pass, ride tickets, and a coupon book that gives you a lot of food deals. I still wouldn't consider it a cheap outing, but it is a savings. Costco also sells out every year, so if you plan to go, make sure you purchase it early.

For me as a tourist, Seaport Village was overrated. Generic shops and food. Glad the entire area is getting revitalized!
I like seaport village but I could see it getting old real quick…more of a tourist trap as it stands now

LOVED this! And I definitely agree about The Flower Fields in Carlsbad. They just don't do it for me but it's nice to look when driving up and down the 5 😎

I think Little Italy is overhyped. The county fair is def at the top of the list tho. 😂
I still enjoy walking around Little Italy but we only do it occasionally
hummm let me think?.... only thing I can think of is...... the price of literally EVERYTHING!!!! make's San Diego itself over rated. 🤣 Yeah sure id like to live there, id also like to own a Porsche 911 Ive experienced both and IMO both are not worth the current price of entry.
