I remember you mentioned in one of the Tea education classes house since England controlled the sugar trade with Jamaica. It was really important for them to find an outlet for the sugar and they noticed that black tea blend in better with sugar and the rest is history.
Originally black tea that was coming into the United Kingdom was good quality. But once they started to do mass advertising to the middle class and lower classes, they started to use Fannings and inferior quality which still persists today. Twining, Tetley, these are garbage.
What do English India company did to China is pretty insidious. It’s completely understandable from the corporate espionage viewpoint. But it’s still insidious.
The English colonies cultivated the cheapest crap Tea’s. If you look at today, we’re all the export commodity black tea for iced tea is coming from it all Kenya, Malawi, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal. And it’s low-grade garbage.
I tried more milk with a green tea, and I don’t understand it. The reason why black tea is good with milk and sugar is because of all the theoflavanoids in it due to the oxidation. Green Doesn’t have that since it’s 0%.
Like the video and post a comment. I would love to hear from you.
