If you're having trouble with your speedometer and odometer, this could be the fix. Other related issues could be a blown fuse or damaged wiring pins located in the harness below the left intake scoop.

Thanx for you reply dude!!! And yes it does, when the bike is started and running the needle wants to move, its like it is wiggling a little bit and like i said everything els works 100%
I have a 2011 gsx-r 1000cc and the speedo works but not the RPM Gauge, when I turn the key it goes from 0- max RPM as usual, but nothing happens later when I rev it... What is wrong ?
My gauge dont work just neutral and the leds inside when i wash the motorcycle it works fine can u help me
That bike had rod knock 😂🤣
Which bike? If your bike has rod knock, adjusting the clutch won’t fix that. You’ll have to split the engine cases and replace rods and bearing possibly even the crank.
What’s the name of the Cable?
After u replaced the speed sensor did that correct your mileage on your bike? Or does something else have to be done to correct that?
+XxJUMPMAN904xX it will continue counting the mileage. The speed sensor counts the revolutions of the front shaft to determine speed and mileage.

I have swapped my speed sensor with a used part and my speed reading is still inaccurate (reading too high of a speed). I'm wondering if it is the sprocket wheel that is bad???
I would count the teeth on both sprockets to see if they are stock. Stock number can be found online.
What do you think is the problem my RPM counter doesn't work but everything else works (all of the electronics)
First thing I would look for is a loose pin/wire in the harness that connects your cluster. It is located on the left side near the front under the fairing. Just look to see if all the wires are snug inside the connected and not loose.

I replaced mine and still doesn’t work...
I’d recommend checking to see if there is any metal debris/shavings on the magneto that could interfere with picking up a signal.
If checked the cables its not the problem
You can try resetting your tachometer which might do the trick. Hold the Adjustment button (top). Turn key on. Let go of Adjustment button. Wait 5 seconds then press the adjustment button twice. Do these steps within 10 seconds and that will reset your tachometer. Im not sure if it will fix it but its worth the try.

no buddy, but a weird thing happend one day, it magically just worked when i started the bike, but when i switched it of it never worked again. so i think your tachometer may just be faulty or it may be a lose connection inside.
What the f***? bike sounds like s*** dude what's up with that?
