This is the behavior of a high functioning prodigy with an extremely high I.Q. and many interests, with the ability to be highly successful in multiple exploits. It could well be maybe she doesn't want the career pressures associated with fame since she had a taste of it with all the rude and jealous comments she's been given. She probably realises that there isn't enough time for a music career and medicine so she had to make a choice! I'm only guessing!
