I can verify the Firestone Destination LE’s are a good deal. Good price, very quiet, and have done well for us in the snow of Anchorage (year and western Washington in the rain. I had intended to put another set on our Honda passport. The particular continental that comes on the EXL model is crap, noisy and rough riding. Sadly, I couldn’t get any in the size needed so I took a chance on someLes Schwab open range, HTS tires. They were not cheap, but they are great: smooth, quiet, track well down the freeway.
Hi, I had the Yokohama Avid touring S and they did not compared to my Nokian Entyre. The Nokian were less noisy , better grip on dry and wet, better braking wet and dry, less wear......in all a better tire than the Yoko.
Question I contacted Michelin asking them what their quietest tire is. and they said Michelin Defender 2, which are not on this list. A couple mechanics told me the same. Can someone help me out ? Thank you
vogue Tyres are honestly the best tire's i've ever had in all weather situations for on road traction.. but they make Michelin's look cheap when it goes to grabbing your credit card.
Thats not a nice picture 😅 but milestar do make good tires and not from china. The milestar weatherguard as710 are made in america, but milestar tires are made by Nankang tires
Michelin Defenders All Season on my F350 were quiet for about the first 20K miles then they just started getting louder. Installed Generals and they were plenty quiet. Michelins on the '17 Escape Titanium as OE were loud from day 1 until I replaced them at 27K miles (worn out to less then 1/16" tread) with General HTS. That is one quiet tire
@jdwht2455. Had General Altimax on my wife's Matrix for several years...silent and great traction. Bought Michelin Defenders to replace them because Costco had a sale that seemed a good bang for the buck...unbelievably loud. Thread wear was comparable at best. Missed the GA's though.
I had the same Michelin tires on my RAV4. I got 119k miles out of them. Got rid of them because they were five years old and I changed the shocks to my RAV. I rotated them myself and checked the air pressure every weekend. Wish I could find another set the only defender I can find now are the Defender 2.
Very interesting "Top 10 Quiet Tires..." (most of the tires as stated in the video are "Super Quiet" or "Quietest"... so which is the #1 QuietEST, #2. #3... started to sound like Blah Blah Blah of tire advertisement as they all are the quietest 😁), but, are they valid? Since according to Continental, the CrossContact LX25 has a far better overall performance AND QUIETER than the LX20 (you #6 on the list), why do you only have the LX20 listed...? Video looks to be missing, perhaps miss leading of compared information !!
I've had these for a couple of times now and they seem like they get flat spots after sitting just overnight and take 5+ miles just to round out again. other than that they are great tires.
#2 was also a Defender type, T=H...Hahaha...talk about trying to raise the odds of Defender sales..maybe. They are very good tires at twice the price. They are over $300 now. REtail was $195. The top 10 didnt have Nokian or Pirelli. Those too are very good in this category. I have heard very good things about the Discoverer, but not available in 245-60-18. Ops, found one, and they are....$275!!!! They were $140-160 just a couple years ago!
😂 I love how this robot guy talks about how wonderful these tires are and then making them sound like they're not worth it. And then the only thing that he cares about is miles instead of quality.
I’m in the market for tires because the Hankook tires that came on my brand new car are insanely loud after only 23,000 miles. They were rotated every 5000 miles but wore unevenly. Piece of garbage tires

Defender is second on the list in this video. Right after the mispronounced Yokohama tire.

Nexen is very quite, with virtually no road noise and long trend life. Surprised they did not make the list.
this lame robot-voiced video with Amazon referal links has nothing to do with real tire noise testing

😂 NICE picture of the tire bulge on the Chinese made mile stars!! 😂🎉 thank you Michelin for giving us an informative video!

Falken 950 going on my maverick pickup best bang for the buck.
How about Pirelli scorpion as plus 3

Firestone Firehawk AS are the noisiest tires I have ever had the displeasure to own. If they were not so expensive, I would toss in the garbage heap.
The firestorm, 2 does great in snow, I know I live in Michigan
Had Michelin Premier LTX on my ‘14 Escape. Noisy and worn out at 29,000. And yes they were rotated every 5,000 miles and properly inflated.

Hmmm.... I'm torn between
#5-Michelin Defender All Season
and
#9-Michelin Defender All Season
🤣🤣🤣
I've had these for a couple of times now and they seem like they get flat spots after sitting just overnight and take 5+ miles just to round out again. other than that they are great tires.
T+H is different tire.

ASPECT RATIO??? If they are all oval, they guarantee a very rough ride.
I am quite suprise that Bridgestone Turanza Quiet Track didn’t find a place in your list.
They are ridiculously loud
probably coz doesn't have an affiliate link for that tyres? lol
Bridgestone Dueler Alenza are better than any of mentioned. Strong riding qualities, quiet and safe.
Yakohama?
Geolandar AT G015 are suppose to have really good wet traction..
I've used Yokohama for years, reasonably priced, good tires and pretty quiet too.
Trashy computer voice.
The premier doesn’t last. After 20k you need to replace. Total rip off.
This is just a list of tires!
😂 I love how this robot guy talks about how wonderful these tires are and then making them sound like they're not worth it. And then the only thing that he cares about is miles instead of quality.
Funded by Michelin.
There's no contest, michelin has always been the best.
Video posted 2 years ago but titled 2024.
Mitch-ah-lin
It’s not yakohama
All tire can't be quiet. Can't trust reviews stating all tires are quite. Be real!
All what tire?
These are not all tires, there are far more tires than these out there
I’m in the market for tires because the Hankook tires that came on my brand new car are insanely loud after only 23,000 miles. They were rotated every 5000 miles but wore unevenly. Piece of garbage tires
Most oem tires on new cars are the lower end tires for that brand , but not all the time
half the list is michelin lol.
Really? Reviewing tire models not made for over 2 years. Can you say "Useless Clickbait", I know you can. LOL
That's bull
AI voice sucks at pronouncing the brand names. Ya-kohama😅
Bfg ta KM2
Unsubstantiated unquantified drivel.
This guy's voice makes watching unbearable.
Amateurish list
yakohoma tire! ya-ko-ho-ma! it is yo-ko-ho-ma. YO-kohoma
I think it was a bot reading this.
