kids shouldnt be on social media until 18 years old. end of story. i say this as someone who was 13 when Instagram came out
I would say 16 is okay. If you can drive a car, you can browse the internet.
I can see this being horrible. Think about if youtube does this, ull half to put ur id. Which means as a content creator your completely exposed to being found by obsessed fans and extreme haters. After all your id would be held in some sort of youtube storage
I feel like if they were gonna do this, the best way to do it would be to require any rated M games to be bought in person. This would get rid of any privacy worry, and it would encourage people to buy physical copies. But obviously the gov just wants to farm our data so whatever
Power corrupts those who have too much of it are those that have power are afraid to lose it.
We could get id checks before we voter ID.....
Same thing is happening in Australia and they are trying to push it through in 1 week
Gonna have ID checks for the internet, but no ID checks for voting? Make it make sense
I used VPNs only 2% of the time, but now I might have to use VPNs full time now. Because I'm not given my ID to someone who can't even keep it safe, i don't trust it. It's bad enough that random data hackers probably know who I am just just by what website i went to.
I should question the king of this country, the government’s power like this to make it more personal and the parts is they don’t care about you and me on the internet and anyone agency can get more of our details something like this.
This stuff seems kinda Orwellian
so its racism for voting but fine for the internet, wth is going on in america
1984 here we go
no private gooning💀
well public social gooning would be a better world, and bring us all together. :|
Welp…
The end is near!
corpo goons want it because information is like gold to them
This is a horrible idea. the state is asking you to prove who you are, and is potentially getting a better handle on tracking what you do. This is in no way a good think. It's backdoor surveillance being sold as a "safety feature."
gotta make sure this DOESN'T come to pass. parents gotta learn to moderate THEIR KIDS.
I’m not surprised this country can’t do anything right to keep us safe, it seems.
With the amount of data breaches these companies have, this sounds like an awful idea.
Agreed! We need to stop this! For our FREEDOM!
And THIS Is what happens when bad parenting exists...
Had to do this for my RUclips channel, actually pitiful
Get ready for social credit scores to follow. I hate the future.
Me too! Take me back to 2007!
