WOW, what an attorney general. I live in rural Oregon and watch these news conferences to see what real law enforcement looks like. It is refreshing to see the justice system working to make their state and counties safe. I appreciate people in law enforcement voicing their opinion on the problems causing crime. Where I live, the big cities solution to the drug problem was to essentially make all drugs legal. And now we have many overdose deaths. I wish we could clone the justice system I see here today and plant it in my state.

Polk County has been a s-hole for decades, and it's mostly Republicans running the show there, ok, Jim Bob Ricky Dicky Ding Dong? Florida has been loaded with drugs for decades, and once again, run by Republicans for a long time. Joe has been POTUS three and a half years. Bet that buy money was from civil forfeiture, which is where cops just steal your money when they pull you over, saying your cash could have been used in a drug deal. of course it's true, since just about every $50 or $100 bill has been used in a drug deal at some point in time in this and other countries. You do know that Reduds turned down the toughest border bill in history just a couple months ago cuz Don The Con did not want Biden to get credit for the bill becoming law. Still, border patrol and dea, and other agencies have been making huge busts for decades. If folks were not wanting to use dope, there would be no problem. The law enforcement agencies have no interest in winning the war on drugs, since it is job security for them.

I used to think the problem was the public, legislators, judges, didn't fully understand the problem. Sheriff Grady has explained it was simply, plainly, without any partisanship, as it could possibly be.
The truth is, it isn't that our elected officials, our judges and the public don't understand.

A couple of things to consider...
First, we need Mexico as a trading partner because we're edging China out, so I'm not surprised that we're as lenient on Mexico as we are.
Second, there is a HUGE problem with American guns (military grade and style) being smuggled across the border into Mexico and into the hands of the cartels, and we're not doing anything to stop it. As a result, Mexican law enforcement is outgunned.
Third, as a narco-state, a significant portion of Mexico's economy is propped up by laundered drug money. If we cut that drug money spigot off (which is flowing through Mexican banks), the country will probably collapse, which will create a domino effect on other narco states in Central and South America. If you think we've got a border crisis now, wait until the financial collapse south of us happens (it will be horrendous!).
Though I didn't like it, I can understand why President Obrador said what he said. We can tackle this problem, but it will take time (probably a good 5-15 years), a multi-faceted approach, and better border control-and sadly, it doesn't seem like we have the political will to do any of it. This problem can be solved in a sound and productive way.
That judge looks just like I would expect. Sorry, to judge him by his looks, but I sure can judge him by his acts. He belongs in jail.

Need a number / and information for the public to use so they can help while not being seen talking to law enforcement. The public sees it every where, all day. Their eyes could be of significant help to eradicate drugs.
I live in the Jacksonville beaches area and I Al so proud of Grady Judd! He is best of the best! I wish, hope and pray that others states watch these conferences and model themselves after Sheriff Judd…he is a great example of Law Enforcement and how it really should be!
