    Hi Han! I've been thinking of trying this myself. Could you show in more detail what the inside of the shoe looks like? I'm worried that the knots to secure the threads would be noticeable on the inside, I've got sensitive skin!

      hello!! I will try and make a youtube short showing the inside of the next pair of shoes that I work on. As long as you tie off and secure the threads neatly within the shoe, you actually won't feel them at all!! The shoes should be worn with socks, but I have a pair that I made for myself and I can't feel the embroidery at all when wearing them :)

      @@HanEmbroiders thank you! I figured it wouldn't be super noticeable, but given I am somewhat of a beginner, my knots are perhaps not as tidy as they should be... 😂 If you could show it in a video that would be really helpful! Thank you for your response

    Ty for this guide! Great channel and so glad I found you. I’m having a hard time with angling the needle so the design/needle comes through straight or in the specific spot I need it to come out. Also I think my converses have a thicker canvas. Any advice?

      @HanEmbroiders  3 месяца назад

      you're so welcome! try to open up the shoe as much as possible so you can see where you're pulling the needle through. are you using finger protectors? those make it so much easier to pull the needle through!

      I am! But they are metal so I might switch to the rubbers ones like you have. Would it be crazy to bend the needle at a slight angle to help with getting the angle right? 😅 thanks for your help and recommendations!

      @@diannesashlee I actually do have a slightly bent needle that I use for specific stitches, but it does weaken the shaft so it becomes more prone to snapping! I would recommend the rubber finger protectors! They give you a bit of extra grip on the needle :)
