I was a lawnmower tech for John Deere for a few years. I used to see a lot of cool cars in garages and shops. This car reminds me of one i saw under a car cover, i recognized the shape underneath and asked about it. The owner pulled the cover back. Convertible and red like this one. Supposedly original 454. Story similar to this one in Yakima, wa. Fun stuff

A friend of mine bought a 70 LS-6 conv. from Ralph Truppi and Tommy Kling, the famous "Briggs Chevrolet" car driven by Ray Allen. Years later in 06' that car hammered for 1.2 million at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale. Great video, classic day two car, looks like it too may have spent a little time at E-town. Good luck with the sale !

Cool find. Couple friendly comments - 1) You mentioned the cowl tag having rosette rivets, but rosette rivets are only on the VIN tag, not on the cowl tag. They are named as such because they are rose-shaped. The cowl tag rivets are obviously circular-shaped. 2) the Hurst shifter handle would not be correct for this car. This would have come with a "MUNCIE" stamped handle with a gradual curve to clear the front edge of the bench seat. It will have GM part # 3973864 stamped near the base.
