    Thank you for showing how you read cut &sew the pattern. You have taught me how to understand the method of the pattern. I loved the eye popping fabric you shared on other quilts you have done. I have 3 of Donna Robinson's book's. With yours help I understand the strip set's. I have donated to our local NICU since '07. I crochet Afghans & hat's I have Quiled since 2018. I am slow at it I have made small quilts & Panel's to add to my yearly donation. Again thank you🌺🌺🌺

    New subscriber here... I too am addicted to Donna's 3 yard quilting. (haven't made one yet, just buying fabrics like a crazy woman! LOL). AND I too am a paper crafter that is addicted to pretty paper, so I totally understand about making albums and journals but not putting anything in them because I just can't cover up the pretty paper. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I will be binge watching your other videos now. :). Biggo Thank you hugs!

    I am so glad you are doing these tutorials. My first one I did I ended up making an extra column. I did not understand partial assembly in her instructions and made too many. I went with it but ran out of one bottom border and ended up substituting one other piece. I'm gonna watch these now before trying a less beginner pattern. I'm not a beginner, but am to her patterns. Love the way you teach and help us, plus give us ideas to fancy it up.

      I am so happy that you like these. If you check out my playlist there are quite a few of them now. Anytime you see the Zhuzh word know that I've done a little something new to the pattern.

    I have 3 books and have been a little intimidated to get started. Your tutorial is very helpful

      I understand completely. When you start you will have so much fun with them. Especially if you choose an easier pattern to start with just so you get the hang of her style.

    I never thought about pressing the seams in a certain direction! Waving from the comment section!🥰

      Oh yeah. Pressing the seams is a part of the process. Not everyone does it but it makes for some really nice flat quilt tops which is my goal.

    I love how they are so similar yet different, this would also be great for twins.

    nice idea to use a panel on the back...is that binding foot Janome?

    • @MACoutureCrafting
      @MACoutureCrafting  2 года назад

      No the binding foot was for my singer but Janome does make one but not for the straight stitch

      Thanks. That's interesting. The project I'm working on now has tons of half square triangles. So far mine have been coming out good but that's an item to keep in mind along with the bloc loc.

      @MACoutureCrafting  3 года назад

      @@bcsteach1 oooh yes both are great to have especially the bloc loc.
