Had a Sabrett in NYC once and thought I'd gone to hot dog heaven. I live in the south and was very happy to see Sabrett in grocery stores a few years ago.

But , How can you eat Kraut and mustard dog without drinking a soda? I couldn't 😂 also do they still have the famous push cart onions? 👍 Umm good

My co workers used to bring me a hot dog from the stand for lunch several times a week for a year or so. They were so gross.
Sometime it would be a solid loaf. Or wet and thin and they smelled so bad and tasted worse.
They would say “ enjoy your hot dog dummy”. And strike me.
The last dog I ever ate was just pure diarrhea soaked bun. With tomato skins and corn bits and I couldn’t even pick it up. It’s just souped apart in my hands when I picked it up. ( I didn’t have to pay for that one )
Haven’t had a hog dog since as I don’t know if the vendor will feed me turds or a an actual hot dog.
I wouldn’t even know the difference anymore.
I never brought it up to them and I think they’re letting the air out of my tires several times a Week now as well. and just ruining my things.
They’re a good group of guys so I don’t want to accuse them of something I’m not sure of. Or if I’ve just had bad luck for a few years around them.

The cut is to keep the condiments inside.

That’s still good tho.
While I like hotdogs, it’s better to spend money on authentic Mexican and authentic Chinese foods. The food is more complex and better value.
