hi, i had done a very similar thing using longer wooden battons made from pallets with strong netting, out further than yours and mine still got out. have given up at the moment. they were desperate to get out of our garden. but now they are wondering down the road and running infront of moving cars ,so having to rethink the whole thing. any ideas anyone???
Ours did the same. We ended up ditching the fence and now we make sure to get them in at night and just let them roam during the day. They are pretty savvy for things that make noise. Our concern was quiet electric cars. Looking to put up cat crossing signs.
@@TheIzzys omg thats so weird, i was thinking of doing the same thing about signs , they have changed our speed limit to twenty around here, but drivers ignore this and do about 30-40 mph, i'm in the uk. so worried they are going to get run over. we also keep ours in at nght lol, so weird ha ha ha we have a camera to keep aneye on them as well x
@@davidking3139 maybe you could try putting the netting flat/perpendicular to the top of the fence instead of having it arch. Kinda of like your were making the the top of the fence go inward at a 90 degree angle but with the netting or chain link fence
@@beanieweanie535 hi Alex had to give up with it in the end. tried repair after repair wider and wider ,netting and chicken wire. my cats are like a spider monkey lol. and so unhappy being stuck in. the pair of them go all over the place during the day, and come back filthy. been seen right down the end of our road. climbing trees to get to birds. they don't kill them just bring them home into the kitchen then let them fly around the house.same with mice (non flying mice ha ha ha) pair of idiots they are. but they come back in for dinner and at bed time and stay in until i get up . so much happier, but can't help but worry what they are up to or if they are going to get taken or hurt as one of them cost me £4000 vet bills already. thank god for insurance.. i do wonder if any one ever has any success keeping cats in without making a gigantic cage? they just seem to find a way out .we had a running joke about the film the great escape , and yes one time they did dig they're way out under a fence.
Them: There's no way cupcake will be able to scale this
Cupcake: You underestimate my power.
Looking good. I had a cat that would jump out the 2nd story window to escape.
That mural was so awesome.

Nice garden or do you call it a yard, still looks good, we want to keep cats out as they keep getting the birds that visit 😢
Try a motion sensor water hose. We had to keep another cat out that kept messing with our senior cat who loved being outside sunbathing.
@@TheIzzys just have to make it is off when we go out to feed the birds, thank you 😊
Did it work?
It did not work, I read his comment to another user. He keeps his cats in at night now. Damn cats
where did you get the window escape? i found one at lowes but didn't look as good at all.

What is the L shape things called?
They are for shelves. Probably shelving brackets
