People aren't suppose to buy a 4060 laptop GPU if they already own a 3060 laptop. Just like with how people with 2060 laptops didn't buy the 30 series laptops when it got released. 4060 laptops are for upgrades on 4-5 year old GPU's like RTX 20 series or GTX1650's.
As someone who upgraded from a GTX1080 laptop to an RTX4060 laptop the big boost in performance is night and day. RTX 4060 are pretty cheap nowadays and competitive probably because there's more stocks for the chip to go around now.
Don't bother going to 4070 on a laptop, the gains aren't that worth the price and they share almost similar specs with 4060. Upgrading to 4080 rather than going 4070 is waaaaay better and worth if you've got the extra money. RTX 4060 or RTX 4080 is pretty much the sweet spot for gaming laptops nowadays.
The problem is looking for a store that still has 4080 laptops in stock
I just got a 4060 laptop, upgrade from my old 1050ti laptop (which is 6 years old at this point), the performance jump is amazing lol
So if anyone planning to buy rtx 40 laptop,4060 or 4080 are the only options as valuable and smart investment

I have the same laptop, and IS NOT necessary, is a cap that NVIDIA (not asus) put in their 40 series GPUs, maybe in a synthetic benchmark u might reach 120W or something, but is not needed and your laptops are not wrong

Do you notice that the CPU power goes up to 60 watts at most, while those chips are capable of handling up to 150watts. He undervolted them to make room for the GPU power. I thinks so?

If you playing on a bed stop put it on a table and maybe put a book or anything under it to lift the fan in air for more air flow and make sure the back fan aren't blocked to a wall or clean the laptop fans

I have a 4060 desktop, and I see that the 8gb of ram, runs out in not just Fortnite, it runs out in call of duty, rdr, those are the few games i play. Also I appreciate playing Fortnite Lego at max settings so don’t ask why I would play Fortnite for graphics

Wow they fixed the tgp problem and the 4060 still performs like crap, skipping time.
20-40% faster than the previous has been common for each generation. Especially with driver updates. You just don't know what you're talking about. It's performing well unlike the 4070.
