For those who may confused, don't look at the average FPS. See the 1%. It represents the lowest FPS that is possibly generated during the game. Imo, 4070 super is the best price for performance. Power consumption is in line with FPS generation.
And take that 1% low and compare to 7800xt,do i need to say that 7800xt is much better in those?
@@misterijaaaa in my experience, if you exclude all spesific technology like FSRR-DLSS, Frame Generation and RT, I will definetly said yes. But if you in pursuit of better visual experience using those technologies you need to consider more. The problem is NVIDIA like drugs. Once, experience their optimization technology, kinda hard to move although it's subjective. And also for amateur Data Science + gamer like me, I have to force using NVIDIA due to the library they support.
1% low is basically meaningless as that’s what the FPS it will drop to only 1% of the time
4070 super is offering best value here, but, it's nerfed in the VRAM.
VRAM Dont give performance i have 24gbvram does not provide more fps.. 3090 is slower vs 4070s.

@@MakeSh00t sure, the 4070 is faster than 3090 when you factor in dlss, FG, etc. but raw performance, higher bus speed and also having 24 gb means the 3090 will have a longer life (More than 5 years, even though performance may not be the best) than the 4070 which will probably make the 4070, 4070 super and 4070 Ti obsolete in less than 3 years
take me for example, i have a 3070 and i can't max out games in 1080p because of the 8gb of vram. It's paired with a R5 7600x, so performance is not a issue; it's the frustration that i have to buy another gpu with 16gb min just to play current and future AAA games at 1440p, plus nvidia having overpriced products this gen makes it harder

Have a 4070 since launch and its playing everything at very playable FPS at max settings @1440p including Cyberpunk 2077 with RT Overdrive (pathtracing). Here every % of performance increase of the other 4070 cards is the same % increase in price. Tbh who actually notices the difference between 80 fps and 100 fps in a game for example? Not me. Happy with the 4070, and it was already more than i wanted to pay for a GPU, so not paying more.
Anybody notice how the vram goes up in usage when using gpus with higher vram? Because it's actually able to utilize it.
10 FPS more for 10°C less, the 4070 super is ok.

When ALL the 4070 super or TI or TI super are all more expensive than the 4070 by a few hundred bucks in my country. Imma just stick to the 4070 😢

I've looked at a bunch of tests and it's the same everywhere. I love playing FH5 and recently upgraded to 4070S. Why does everyone have 110-120 fps in the tests, but I have 200? ))) WTF?
Do you have dlss and frame gen on? If yes then maybe that’s why.
4070 TI Super gives 10 FPS more than TI, but it also produces 10 degrees Celsius more heat. Among these four graphics, I definitely choose 4070 Super and 4070 TI normal.
temps says nothing cause i doubt that all the cards are from the same brand and cooling system on it

Essa 4070 ti super só faz sentido para quem vai entrar na niva geração, pois os possuidores da 4070 ti nunca iriam nessa variante não faz sentido. Agora houve sim uma mudança na 4070 super é como a 4070 deveria ser. A 4070 deveria ser a 4060 ti.

2k is the right resolution to be be benchmarking these cards, well done and thank you. The Super version make the original look even more like price gouging by Nvidia. In the UK the 4070 TiS is ~37% more expensive than the 4070 S, for best case 35% improvement. Not sure 2k needs more performance than the 4070 S and 4k really does need the 4080 S which sort of leaves the 4070 TiS in no mans land.
What Resolution do you used?
Considering the GPU vs CPU usage on every game, i'd say this is at least 2k, 4070 is not a gaphic card for 4k so it has to be 2k (1400p)

Why does the tis use 1-2G more vram than the other cards when they're all well below their limit?
if more room is available games allocate more... there always seems to be buffer reported as well...no number is going to be reported at the limit.

unlucky that they only offer 16 GB of VRAM on the 4070tiS wich basically costs like a 4080, for mid- range cards that are designed to work on 1440p having 12GB of VRAM in 2024 is just an insult.
most modern games easly cap my 16 GB of VRAM at max settings in 1440p, so i can't immagine how bad it is with just 12GB and it will only get worse, shame on you NVIDIA

The 4070 might give you decent fps avg but the 1% lows are about a 30-40 % difference compared to tis

probably do very well in 1080p with all cards that it doesnt make much of an impact with gameplay
the 4070 is overkill for 1080p - it's mostly targeted as a 2k card
@@tressil3607 no graphics card is targeted for a specific resolution. some people care more about higher framerates or futureproofing. if you get a 4090 for 1080p you'll probably not need to upgrade for 8 years at least.
