They know what’s right and wrong, and if somehow they feel secure and feel like they are empowered with ppl giving them opinion and approval of their name based on what I said, then more power to them. That’s crazy , don’t let social media run your life.
To me I don’t care how parents name their children. Wether it’s social media, votes, opinions from other, etc. Because at the end of the day they are the parent(s). They know what’s right and wrong, and if somehow they feel secure and feel like they are empowered with ppl giving them opinion and approval of their name based on what I said, then more power to them. To each their own. It really isn’t my business either. It’s up to them, and if somehow they regret it, they are the ones to have to live up to it.
But for me personally, I agree with what Tamera said. That it should only be between me and my husband. And no one else will know the name until my children are born. Because to me and my husband that is only between me and him, and to me yessss, it is sacred! And it is special. We wanna keep it between just us, because that’s what we agreed on, and that’s what makes us happy!
Such a crazy thing to be forced to think about! When you're in the public eye specifically! I wouldn't think this would matter that much for regular people but I guess it does lol
I have to say though that checking for available handles for your baby name choice (just the first name; the first and middle; or first and last) can really work as a gage for it's popularity in different places and generations.
