I went to school at Escuela International La Lima, I love that town, the people were extremely nice when I was there but that was in the 90s. If the golf course is still there and open across from the school that was the best place to get some food.

Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands (Roatan, Utila, and Guanaja). Some people speak English as a first language there. The islands have a very interesting combination of cultures. They were a British colony. Now they’re part of Honduras, probably the most touristic destination in the country. A true Caribbean paradise. You should visit there. You’ll love it! 🏖

I’m a Garífuna from Honduras. You should check out some of the towns we reside in. They are all on the coast. In Roatan, Punta Gorda, but there are many on the mainland.
