To the person that wrote comment number one I have a 2024 Pathfinder platinum I’ve put over 20,000 miles on it for $50,000. It’s a very well rounded vehicle with technology performance and luxury what you need to understand Mr. number one is that for $50,000 post Covid you don’t get much in a vehicle, look at all the different three row midsize SUVs and then your Nissan starts to look pretty good especially for a $50 price bag you got champagne taste in Budweiser budget my friend
Also to whoever posted that comment, this is my second pathfinder. I had a 2023 as a lease and put almost 14000 miles on it and now I have the 2024. Did not experience any rattling of the interior but what I did experience was the volume knob stayed depressed and the Bose stereo for some reason start acting up but straighten out the issue with the sound. What I notice from the 2023 to the 2024 what’s the build quality is a lot better. There’s more of a gloss to the paint and the ride is a little bit more plush but it could be because of the tires. I had Hankooks on the 2023 and was an SL with premium package and 2024 is a platinum with the Bridgestone alenza tires. The body panels are a tighter fit that the 2023, it seems as though all the issues that was going on in the 2023 models have been straightened out. Just to note too, if it was not a very well built vehicle I would not have traded in my Mercedes Benz AMG GLB 35 for it. Each build is different though so we will see with this one..
Great review! After test driving the Pathfinder and the MDX. You're definitely correct about the ride over the bigger bumps in the road which was a little disappointing to me. The Pathfinder had more of a truck type of feel over less than smoother roads and the MDX road more like a sedan. I was really impressed about out how spacious it was inside the Pathfinder, especially height wise. Perfect for a taller/larger person.
Love love love my 2024 Pathfinder Platinum! Rides very smoothly and luxurious! I’ve had BMW ‘s which were an absolute nightmare in repairs and issues! I’m very comfortable with this luxurious vehicle 😊
Current BMW owner... it broke my heart one too many times 😂 so now strongly considering one of these! Previously had a Rouge which was a fantastic vehicle. My grandparents are still driving it.
Why is this Platinum (the highest trim) doesn't have any fog lights but the 2023 has it? Also, the infotainment screen size is too small unlike the 2024 Nissan Altima SR?
I had got the 2023 platinum last yr and no fog lights either. Apparently from what I was told was that the whole covid shutdown caused them to skimp out on certain features. It sucks when you’re paying so much and it’s the top model.
Quite nice indeed on the outside. However, that interior is one of the busiest I have ever seen. Way too much going on. That infotainment scre looks rather tiny as well and needs to be more integrated.
just an reminder those two hooks in the back are for the rear sunshade but you could use them as hooks though. and the rear reverse light are sadly not LED's but amazing review
@@kumaravinash3188 It may have height adjustment as well in this Platinum trim, he didn't mention it. He also didn't mention that this Platinum trim has power adjust on the steering column, something not offered in this segment. You'd have to go into the luxury segment.
When I asked the dealer for our 22’ Rogue I was quoted around $800 out the door. However you can find some with them installed from factory! I just purchased a 24’ that has them.
i like the exterior as it is, to much black would have cheapen the look, I bought the platinum one without black top. I love the look , Wouldn't be happier with any other
+1 I was going to say, black on the door handles would be a terrible look, not to mention hot! I agree, too much gloss black sends things down market like a refrigerator bought at the local discount appliance store. Also the black dropped section of the C-pillar is unnecessary, looks a mistake - almost causing you to say, "what's that?" Would look better, less glaring mated to one of the darker colors. Should have stopped at the roof. Its close corporate cousin, the Infiniti QX60, a smarter look with the black roof on the top trim. Theoretically has even more black than this, but better design and placement. Thinner or slimmer looking C-pillar helps.
Their RWD based transmissions are actually considered one of the best in the business. However since this is a pathfinder video, I’d assume that’s not the info you’re looking for lol either way, the Jatco FWD conventional transmissions have always been a reasonably reliable option, and even their CVT’s are starting to see 150-250k miles with proper maintenance 👍🏼
As an executive claims administrator for the nations top 5 extended warranty providers, I can confirm that JATCO hasn’t had widespread transmission issues since 2013 for the judder/shudder campaign. The transmission issues are over a decade old at this point, but a lot of ignorance perpetuates to this day. As far as this specific transmission, it’s a ZF 9HP that is one of the world’s most advanced and reliable transmissions. Nissan has a license from ZF to build them and tune them to their specifications. It combined with the VQ35 engine is bulletproof. The VQ35 engine is considered by many to be one of the best V6 engines ever made. Claims data supports this.
anybody knows if the 2025 pathfinder platinum will receive the same multimedia big screen of the 2024 rogue with google auto integrated? i would wait for this.
i rather go with grand highlander or pilot cause they have safety push button inorder to open the gas tank door. this is the most important safety feature for me.
Mashing the gas in ECO mode. Lololol. Thanks for nothing. The mode is about shifting earlier to keep the rpm down. What is the difference in shift points?
The door panels are not leather nor is that wood. That said, the Pathfinder is a fine SUV except for the smallish infotainment unit with gobs of shiny smudged, scratched black plastic.
That infotainment screen is much smaller than my 2020 hyundai tucson. Kind of expected a nicer interior for a car that is TRIPLE the price of the car I already own. Not worth it.
As an owner of this for 2 years you will regret the day you buy this. The cheap interior rattling all the time and absolutely worst infotainment system of any vehicle I've ever owned
don't let this person dissuade you ... I bought a 2023 platinum and LOVE IT. no rattling at all and the android and apple airplay with the infotainment is phenomenal.
@@smac1823 Did they update the camera's picture quality? Last time I checked it was awful. Same horrible picture as in Toyota. 360° and I see blurry picture.

Loving My 2024 Rock Creek! 🙌🤗
I like the rock Creek a lot except I wish it came with the upgrades that the platinum has

Me too, loving mine. A bit bigger and more tech than my previous SUV, so that’s been an adjustment. 😂
I want to get either this or a Land Rover Defender. I'm assuming the Pathfinder would be more reliable, tho.

Sure glad they ditched the CVT. Awesome review as always man!
Thank you! Totally agree this transmission is surprisingly snappy too 👍🏼

Now my first new Nissan Pathfinder to buy.
So luxurious

I noticed that too no fog lights and no fender painted fender trim in a Platinum edition…Nissan still doing weird stuff.
I think fog lights is only with the Platinum with captain chair? 🤷🏻♂️
@@jnagime I have them on my SL. I think they were an option.

This Chestnut Brown semi-aniline leather is beautiful 😍🔥🥵🤩! I would love to get this interior for my own Pathfinder Platinum

Liked your show, but no one ever addresses the passenger seat. It is very important for me to know if it is a power seat and has lumbar support.
I have 2022 SL premium package. It has power-seat and lumbar support in front seats. The passenger seat doesn't have the height adjustment, though.

One day........ I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder.
2024 white pathfinders myne the first one .except the feulpum 1200 miles until 72000 miles was the best vehicle.
How much extra do you have to pay for a add on fog light. Food for thought 🤔

The QX60 has a lighter/numb steering feel. You feel the road more in the Pathfinder.

The gas tank door cover is locked when the vehicle doors are locked, according to the owner's manual.

Infiniti cx60 💀

Honda pilot the best❤
