    This should be the last Cup race in the chase just to make it interesting.

    Wow!!! Used to watch old cars like this in 1961 when I was 5 years old with my Dad at the Bakersfield raceway. You just have to have the right stuff to do this.

    8:37 commentator is worried about if this little spin hurt the driver 😂 damn safety has come such an unbelievable way, especially comparing it to Newman's incident

    • @chuckiefinster544

      In the next gen safety is definitely an issue again

    • @vesnabernjak-ord8674
      @vesnabernjak-ord8674 Год назад

      Well, racing safety should of come a unbelievable way. But if Newman is knocked out and severely injured from a crash, NASCAR has to improve its safety. What I recommend for NASCAR (look down)
      Safer safer barriers, better car safety mechanisms, reduce the banking on the tracks, safer helmets, stronger roll cages, add wings for *downforce* to prevent flipping, make the body panels fly off incase the car rolls, 8-point harnesses, use equipment to prevent the drivers head from going everywhere to prevent concussions, make the steering wheel break off incase of a roll or hard hit into the barrier and add doors instead of making the driver crawl through the window.

    • @vsolou
      @vsolou 11 месяцев назад

      @@vesnabernjak-ord8674doors like...remove the purpose of roll cages😐 cuz roll cages block the need of opening the doors and doors make the car heavier so its no wonder why they welded the doors shut

    • @vesnabernjak-ord8674
      @vesnabernjak-ord8674 11 месяцев назад

      @@vsolou no? Where did you get that logic from? Not only is opening doors faster and less life threatening then climbing through the window there is no way the drivers would get flung out the sides from the harnesses.

    Compare this to the Nascar parades of today. For sure there is more focus on driver (and spectator) safety today but 100 mph in those old heaps must have been a hoot.

    Fast forward to the 1970’s, now NASCAR (Not Any Stock Cars Are Racing). Not one race car of the classes are built in factories as we know them. They are individually custom built in the race shops across the country. I gave up on nascar about 20+ years ago. I’d rather watch nostalgia drags, pikes peak hill climb or the rally races in Europe. Hell, formula 1 can be better than nascar.

    En esa época Argentina tenía coches más lindos y competitivo y también muchos mejores pilotos, qué surgieron de las cupecitas del TC, FANGIO , GONZÁLEZ, GALVEZ , MENDITEGUY, MARIMON ,estos pilotos trascendieron mundialmente, los autos eran los mismos modelos,pero mejor preparados y desarrollaban casi 250 kms por hora, resumiendo era un automovilismo mucho más profesional y competitivo y mejores pilotos...
