Ah yes, the King C Gillette, which has become my daily driver. Mild where I need it to be, aggressive enough where it has to be. Arguably the best modern razor out there.

Good morning Paul!!! Nice arrangement by Mrs H! Interesting choices for your mid week shave!!! My SOTD will be the Gillette Slim Twist with a Feather blade, DS Cosmetic Badger Brush, PAA Cube 2.0, DR Harris Marlborough Soap and Aftershave, and some L’Oréal Men Expert Birch Sap Balm to finish the shave. Meal of the day will be some Macadamia crusted Grouper with some red pepper coulis, coconut rice, grilled asparagus, corn on the cob, and honey glazed carrots. Have a wonderful day and stay safe!!!!

Good evening Paul! Love the pretty roses and carnations, many thanks Mrs. H!! I like the King C. Gillette razor. It provides a decent shave without much blood and makes a great daily driver. Additionally, I like the King C. Gillette blades too. SOTD: 2021 Rocnel Sailor (adjustable 5/4/3) razor loaded with a Gillette 7 O'Clock Yellow Sharp Edge blade (1st use). 1948 Williams Luxury Shave Cream with lanolin (Rose scent) bowl lathered with a Graydog Spalted Maple 26 mm synthetic brush. Finished with Thayer's AF SF skin toner and Soap Commander Love (true rose scent) balm. BBS result, smelling like a rose garden. Smashing shave Paul! Please take care and stay healthy.

I’d have to give that a try, on a very warm day, ha! ha! ha!
I love the white neck brace impersonation you do after the ‘’3-2-1 Pick-up Time, Baby’’, it’s a classic!
I will give the Voskhod Teflon Coated Stainless Steel Blade a try, just like the Gillette Nacet you recommended and I have adopted. The Nacet is very smooth and quite efficient, I do like them a lot.

Hey Paul. Nice shave today. I used my KCG with a custom handle by Back Roads Gold. The original handle was to long for me. I also used a Gillette platinum blade. The soap, and splash, Stirling Pharohs Dreamcycle.
I shave daily because I want to. I don’t have to because I’m retired.

Great shave Paul💈💈 I used that razor once and put away, now I can't find it. Cream looked nice and slick, "fresh" is a good scent. Unique color of roses this morning, the display is gorgeous, thanks Mrs H. Your left arm shows that Milly won the battle😉 SOTD: PAA Cube, SV "70th Anniversary" soap/splash, Semogue 2040 HD badger brush, Rocnel LE razor w/Swede blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5 in 1 balm...Fantastic. Good shave, Paul. The KCG razor is fantastic, one I call upon quite regularly. Fwiw, I had a cracking shave this a.m. with my Weishi loaded with a 2nd use Feather. So close and comfortable, no cartridge approaches this level of shave.

Shaving with the manscaped razor persona blade and sterling soap gotta say it’s about as close to a perfect shave as you can get every time

Great shave. I dig the Voskhod blades. They’re mildly sharp and extremely comfortable for my skin. My coarse hair takes it well. That blade also works in a efficient and mid aggressive Maggards Slant that I have. I’m coincidentally using a King C Gillette razor with a Personna Platinum blade, SW Carpathia soap, Omega 10066 brush and the Skin Bracer AS. Weather here is getting shitty with days of storms and rain expected, but the weekend climate should treat my area nicely. Have a great day

Excellent shave Paul SOTD will be the 34C with a Gillette Nacet blade Proraso Red preshave and Proraso Red shave soap yesterday it was basically the same setup but with a Gillette superior platinum simply amazing shave highly recommend that if you have a course beard you try it out Proraso products are a team effort so if you buy the soap buy the matching preshave as well
King c is best bay on the market... I friendly recommend...

Hi Paul, wounderfull shave as usual and that display by Mrs H..... For that "icecream shave" I suggest to use some mint icecream. That way, you'll keep your cool...😎. Sinatra Lennon has shaven with whipped cream, a long time ago, so eatable shavingcreams are "a thing".....🍨
I realy like the new Gillette razor; it works great for me and it's affordable and available in at least one drugstore chain here in Germany. I suggested it to a friend as a good start to the wetshaving journey and now, a few months later, he owns several razors, soaps and brushes and is running out of storage space in his bathroom.....I've no idea how that could happen to him....

Hi paul !! I found the corners of the base plate (king. C. Gillette)a little annoying because sharp, especially in the second pass where the skin is clean and sensitive if the shave is a bit sloopy , did you notice something like that ?? in compaire to other razors this dont happens, this is sharp even with the touch of a finger....

Did you know that the new K.C. Gillette series is made in...not USA but China. No "back to the roots". Sad and a pity.
