Also, I realize the video is a bit shaky (still better than most of the garbage on RUclips, IMO), but this was the FIRST time I used this set of glasses, so that would only improve if I chose to use them more. I was more interested in the VISUAL quality of the image, and how it looked on your screen. Like the actual image quality. Not the audio, not if it's shaky. The clarity or definition of the image. Not sure how I can explain it any better.
As my first coaster, I've loved rollercoasters ever since! Kraken is a really fun ride and as it may look, the free fall feeling you get in your stomach isn't even a problem. I hate that feeling, and I barely felt it. SeaWorld is the BEST!

you guys should do more back seat POV's I love seeing them because the last train is always my favorite

The last time I went to Sea World they had just opened this and finally after 13 years, I was able to give this a try. I love it!

I sometimes hate that we've raised the bar so high for roller coaster videos! There is so much footage I've shot, literally hundreds of videos, that haven't made the cut to RUclips based on not being up to my standard to release. Maybe one day I'll post them under an "out-takes" label or something? Thoughts?
Great footage of one of my favorite floorless coasters. Footage wasn't as clear as some other videos, but the footage was fantastic overall. I can always rely on TPR to provide great coaster footage!

2023 here and saying this video is a great throwback to the Kraken I remember. Kraken has a new paint job and might be doing the VR headsets still. (Last visited 2015)
I think that B&M Floorless coasters mix so many of the things that they do so well. I have only ridden Dominator but thought it was awesome. Fast, smooth and the airtime i felt coming OUT of the midway brake run was so unexpected. I would not have minded CP adding a floorless instead of a wing coaster but of course i eagerly anticipate riding Gatekeeper.
No, it's cool. Like I said, we are always testing out new equipment, and I have my thoughts on it, but I wanted to run it by you guys first.

In Florida? I really like Kumba a LOT! I'd probably say that's my favorite coaster in the state. But we really do have so many REALLY good coasters to choose from - Cheetah Hunt, Space Mountain, Mummy, Dragons, SheiKra, Manta, Montu, just to name a few! =)

i love this ride, it was my first one with a loop. this coaster is so awesome because the track is hidden so you don't know what is going to hit you. god i hate living in the uk sometimes, all the best are in florida :/
Of course, we prefer that, too. But we are always looking at new equipment and testing things out. And I prefer to put those tests in front of you guys.

About 8 or more years ago my mom and I road this ride like 6 times in a row cause the park was pretty much empty and no one was in line! Brings back memories :) It just reached it's anniversary or 13 years!

The video quality tested here is good, Rob. For glasses, it's pretty damn good.

True, but I think florida was desperately in need of a good hyper coaster, something which florida was sorely lacking.

I love the way you want our feedback to make your choices, awesome Robb! I do agree with most though, i like the quality of the other better, but if this is a cheaper option, you may want to try to get a couple of them, and mount them on all different places to get extremely cool perspectives! :)

I would say that quality is not as strikingly clear as your videos are usually. But the footage was amazing. It is tough to critique the guy who does the best coaster videos on the planet but I am just being honest. Thanks Robb~

Sunglasses cam sounds like a cool idea but when its possible for you to hold a camera on the ride it comes out much clearer and i definitely prefer that. Not just the visual quality but the sound too.
That's a great idea, I would love to see some of the other Japenese crazy death machine coasters.

Good. I would say it gives us more of a feel to how smooth the ride is because the camera moves as your head moves. :)

Full throttle is epic! One of the best coasters ever. IT has a tonnnnnn of hang time on the loop because of it's lap bars. They would need to spend hundreds of millions of dollars though, maybe billions including all the land.

This is one of the best coasters there along with Montu and r.r.r, but ride this at the back, the back is the new front! its ace at the back on this ride!

Watched it in 720p, full-screen on a 1920x1080 34" TV. POV quality is noticibly less than other videos you've posted recently (most looked like they've been shot on a GoPro?), it generally looks quite grainy and just not as crisp around the edges of objects.
On the other hand, thanks for posting this, especially the back row view - I live in the UK and miss this coaster so much, still the only floorless I've been on.
Nice idea, but the camera seemed to be working too hard to compensate for the sun! I like seeing the "roughness" of coasters, so sunglasses are a great idea imo just need someone to magic a decent enough sensor into such a small space! :P
I have faith that if they tried, they could. Six Flags is awesome, don't get me wrong. Been going there since I was a child, which made it kinda boring after awhile. But I will always love most of the rides. I still haven't ridden Full Throttle, so that's on my to-do list for the next couple of months.
Really underrated. Very similar to Kumba at Busch Gardens Tampa except this one is floorless.

The first drop and the first 3 inversions are the same as Medusa in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, but they are both awesome. I love B&M roller coasters!

The universal here focuses more on the studios then the one in Flordia. That one is actually a thrill park unlike ours.
We did up until about 2 years ago.
Am I the only one who thinks that all B&M sit-down/stand-up/floorless coasters (or almost of them) have the SAME TRACK more or less??????
Look and proof: the "track" of 90% B&M Coasters:
lift - drop - loop - immelman or dive loop - Zero G Roll - Cobra Roll - MCBR trims or Camelback - Loop (in some coasters) - Interlocking corskcrews - END
May we start a debate of this, I think it's interesting. I've seen so many B&M POVs and I'm tired of it because everything is the same!!! isn't it?

Personally, the U.S. has the greatest rides and roller coasters ever, once again, im going to busch gardens in a few days and im sooo pumped cuz of all the great rides there.

You can have the earthquakes if you like, lol. We're still waiting for the "big one" with a bit of anxiety. Regular earthquakes are nothing to us. We just ride them out or hardly even notice them. XD

Haha true! It's mostly due to the seismic activity - the lengthier / higher up the coasters are the more chance that something can go wrong during a large earthquake. The east coast has a much lower probability of seismic activity that can cause damage to the infrastructure.
No I mean when I leave the amusement park after all the fun I had I wish I could go back. And do it again it makes me mad I just love having fun but yeah that ride is amazing you got that right, I feel you though.

I look forward to it. :) Florida probably wouldn't have to spend more than Six Flags did on creating a similar coaster. Plus, have you seen Universal Studios Florida? It's 10x more awesome than ours. I haven't been to the one in Hollywood in a few years simply because that park kinda bores me.
