The factory trigger on these gun is completely unacceptable, especially in the double action only variants where it is the only option to make the gun go bang. Glad there is a solution available.

Have you shot the gun since you installed those springs? Curious about whether you got any light strikes. Also the firing pin and spring are for the newer Smiths. All of them have internal firing pins, regardless of hammerless or not. Yours is one of the good ol' Smiths.

I wonder why Smith and Wesson puts such a heavy DA pull ? Not a problem for me because I dry fire every day.

Those action has to be heavy to achieve that this small and light hammer with a short travel be able to detonate the primers of the cartridges. You could change the main spring for a shorter or lighter one, but it is possible than you have a lot of missfires , specially in double action.
      (Forgive my bad English)

Would have been nice to know what the before-and-after was on the single action pull

You didn’t watch the video to the end did you? He measures it

Video said the before single action trigger pull weight was 3 pounds and the video shows after the Apex spring kit install that the single action pull weight dropped to just over 2 pounds.

Have you ever heard of tyler trigger shoe aluminum or steal to give your forefinger additional strength probably you should ask Big Swoll about it iv never seen him complain about trigger pull now days they call it lady Smith so if you can't pull it then you can try another name brand or maybe get a semi automatic so you're girly man hands can handle it C

You are such a big, strong guy and this girly man can't pull a 12 pound trigger. Maybe you think all the expert professional shooters are all girly men as they have low 2 to 4 pound trigger pulls. High pull weight triggers cause inaccurate shooting. Accurate shooting is not muscle strength to pull the trigger, but good hand eye coordination and practice, practice, practice. Muscles come in play to extend and hold the arms and hands steady, not for strength to pull the trigger.
