  • Here it is guys, a massive improvement of 1:06 in-game time and 1:44 real time over my last best run of this, and a NEW WORLD RECORD!
So the story goes like this: I was preparing for one of my matches in the Pokemon Puzzle League Speedrun Tournament that's going on right now and I had decided to warm up with some Time Zone and then some 1P Stadium on the hardest difficulty. The match by the way was on Very Hard difficulty and not Super Hard difficulty shown in the video. So warming up with Super Hard difficulty I decided to also record the attempts since you never know what kind of crazy RNG and good luck one could possibly get in a single run. Good thing I was recording cause I got on an absolutely mad run that did make it all the way to the end here, making me the first person to not only break the 14 minute barrier, but the 13 minute barrier as well at once. A few of the stages I had here weren't the most ideal stages in the world, but a lot of them did go my way in the end. I didn't have to grind this anymore after getting the 14:31 in an actual tournament match a couple years ago, now I certainly don't have to grind this anymore. This run beats the previous world record by 1:42 over Japanese speedrunner syuga ( / syuga218 . Enjoy the new world record speedrun everyone!

Well done. My favorite is the way the metal blocks sound in a large chain.

I play this game almost everyday with my mom for fun and I thought I was pretty decent until I decided to look up videos on how others play lol. I cannot believe the vision and control speed runners like you have, it's incredible. Congrats on the record.
Random Question while im at it: Do you guys ever play the 2p 9-10 handicap competitively with the royal blue color? And if you do, how much harder is it to combo with that extra color for players like yourself?

Thanks! And yes, there is a PvP (Player vs Player) community that plays a fan-made version of the game called Panel Attack. They do a bunch of tournaments every month of a variety of skill levels, most of them playing on level 10 with the 6th color. The added color and extra fast speed at first will make it harder to combo and chain, but with enough practice that is one method where you can develop faster cursor speed and better board vision.
