- Ya. Im going to attempt to make a tips and tricks video. ... I think its kinda fail but whatever. Warning. This video contains random songs from random games. Dont ask for the songs either please. Unless I know you.

These are some great tips. I've gotten even better after practicing some of them. And I agree, combos for the most part only helps the opponent out.
My and my brother play this game a lot and we have terms for your unnamed moves.
The first where one block supports two we call 'The pro move' because of the timing involved.
The second we call 'The bullshit move' since....well it's bullshit and shouldn't happen.
Using all your blocks so you have nothing left is 'over-attacking'

Were having a tournament on this game, and man these techniques are really impresssive. Some hot blok flipping.
No problem. It's hard to find people who play this, and harder to find someone really good at the game. So I have no problem trying to help people get better.
just wanna say combos can be annoying when used in a chain but don't make a 4-2x and then 5-3x and stuff because your opponent gets more blocks to use to prevent a force-kill
that being said, if you're battling lower-level enemies it does help if they don't clear in time

I played Pokemon Puzzle League at an anime con recently. And I met a really tough opponent. He was HIGHLY SKILLED. I never played against anyone that good before! I was very impressed with his skills! But now I will have a fighting chance, if I ever face someone like that again. =) So once again, thank you for making this tutorial. Now I will practice these techniques in Super Hard Mode (I'm stuck on Gary and Mewtwo). XD

I just want to find someone who can destroy me. I loved this game when I actually lost all the time to the computers. Now that I win all the time I rarely play it.

I don´t get the difference between chains and combos. Or rather, I know what chains are, but not the combo part, can someone explain please? How do I avoid making combos.

I never used the two time lags tricks together, that looks awseome
and about the stop time : you can get 18 sec with jigglipuff only, not on maches
On maches you can get a max of 5 secs + the time the garbage block takes to shake the screen
and as the match goes on the time stop starts to get smaller and smaller, and so as the garbage bloc shake. (personal exp.)
To flawlessly win 15 rounds (that's beating opponents to get 5 points in vs. with 3 rounds per)...I've still yet to do that. I'm not even caring about losing anymore. I figure if my opponent beats me, I'm out of my game. What's worse, my controller(s) are acting up and the d-pad doesn't work well all the time how I want to.

...where it should be. Any block will do. Now when all of it falls, quickly switch the two blocks so they match up under their corresponding blocks so that they are registered as there a split second after it all lands. If done correctly, you should have gained not one, but TWO in the chain instead of gaining one in the chain and added a six-combo. It's really tricky to do, and I don't see any recent videos showing it...I kinda wish i had recording equipment so I could show you what I mean.
Good video on tips and tricks and whatnot. But here's a tip you hadn't listed that I believe is important in VS. play.
Say you have two rows of blocks with a chain garbage block. On the top and bottom are two pairs of matching blocks. Another two pair of blocks are produced from the garbage block. Move one duo under their corresponding block and position the other so that the bottom block is under its corresponding block and the middle is one block to the side with a placeholder... (cont)
