I'd add some sort of mechanism to hold down the insert for safety. And it's probably going to warp pretty soon because of the tiny connection holding it together. But nicely done. 👍

Is that a 10" diablo blade? How'd you make it fit? On mine the carbide catches on the latch of the riving knife.

Did you make any modification on the machine to make the 10” (254mm) freud blade fits, for what I know it only fits a 250mm blade. How?

Thank you for your answer, I was told about engine brake but there is nothing about it in the manual. I do not find it very normal anyway especially in a wood workshop ..
What did you install as a blade? Isn't this the original blade?

eric d I think it got something to do with the brushes in the motor, nothing to worry about. I installed a 60 tooth freud blade
